Nottingham Forest and Paris FC are interested in signing Marshal Munetsi, who just returned from a good loan away at Paris FC. This is according to Transfermarket
Bellegarde has also attracted interest from Besiktas, but doubt Wolves will sell him.

Burnley and Hull City are interested in Ki Jana Hoever. Wolves are open to sell but want a sell on clause. Hoever did not travel with the squad for preseason in Portugal.

Fosun out you do seem to have a lot a rumours are these genuine or just made up stories you like to spread? I've not seen anything from you that has an inch of truth in it.

However is not travelling with the squad for pre-season. There were Hull City links earlier according to TransferMarkt, I remember, but I don't think Burnley are interested in signing Hoever. I might be wrong.

Stephen, check all the rumours I have sent, they are true, and yeah, Burnley are interested in him cuz Kyle Walker is old and as a backup.

Cesar Poixito has asked the board to sign Santi Garcia from Fil Vicente. Expected cost to be 3 mil.

Looks a player! Always do, though, tbf, until they switch to cold Tuesday nights in Stoke.

Big, technically gifted CM, with an eye for goal and good on set pieces.

At £3 mill, looks good business and knows the gaffer's way of playing already.

Finally, Wolves talks with Zetterstrom are advancing after his return. Leeds are also monitoring closely.

5

14 Jul 2026 19:33:23
He will go to Leeds. They just sold Karl Darlow. We mostly miss out on our targets, plus he will want a Premier League move, as he is entering the prime of his career. He is a really good goalkeeper and a good person who I had the opportunity of meeting.

14 Jul 2026 14:03:57
Man Utd and Liverpool are still very interested in signing Joao Gomes.

3

14 Jul 2026 17:00:50
According to The Athletic, Newcastle are very interested.

2

14 Jul 2026 11:06:29
Adrian Blake is a new name being suggested that we are interested in. Left winger and only 20 years old.

0

14 Jul 2026 19:34:16
Yeah, I read that somewhere. A good signing for the squad, but don't see him playing a really vital role.

2

13 Jul 2026 19:30:42
Tolu Arokadare does not travel with the team to Portugal for the pre-season. A possible transfer on the cards?

8

14 Jul 2026 19:35:44
Trabsanzpor were interested, and so was Fiorentina, but from what Transfermarket says, Trabsanzpor are trying to sign free agent Bamba Dieng, also a Nigerian striker, who had a 10+ goal season with Lorient.

13 Jul 2026 13:53:22
Right here we go from what I've read Wolves have targets lined up. The CH from Chicago Fire is near finalised. Rodrigo Pinhiero is done but Wolves waiting to get Jackson out. They have strong interest in Sergi Solons from Salt Lake City 4mill asking price, he's a striker, 24 years old.

Nothing happening till sought out Tolu if he's going or staying. Niko Sigur midfielder also of interest but Gomes sale is also holding that deal up.

2

13 Jul 2026 14:38:01
All fantasies let's be honest, you've woken up and thought, let's throw a few random names out, like the last signing, nobody knew who it was until the deal was done!

2

13 Jul 2026 14:54:24
Ste85, you could be right, but I'll wait and see. I never wake up and throw names in. Check all my comments, go on different sites, and you will see.

13 Jul 2026 16:16:07
Rodrigo Pinhiero to Wolves was reported a month ago. It's not just a random name. The deal probably depends on outgoings, but it's a real deal all the same. Looks a great prospect and cheap.

13 Jul 2026 16:28:20
Deap Throat, thats what I said. Need to get rid of Jackson first, then he will sign. Or sign him now and get stuck with Jackson, then you have Trippier plus Jackson plus Lima.

Sorry, not to mention Hoevier, have to get rid first or sign players and have a squad of 50. Wolves just cant spend money on incomings without getting rid of deadwood to free up space.

1

13 Jul 2026 16:42:37
Exactly, DMac. Otherwise, we'll have a bigger squad than Chelsea. You were right about Rodrigo Pinhiero being on the cusp of being signed.

0

13 Jul 2026 18:25:18
Didn't John Percy say that the Pinheiro rumours were inaccurate, as Wolves were going to have Trippier and Pedro Lima as right backs.

2

13 Jul 2026 18:55:36
You're correct, so the rumours about him as a fine deal are false.

0

13 Jul 2026 21:41:08
At least Hoever is homegrown, right? Jackson should be first to go!!

0

14 Jul 2026 19:10:03
Wolves aren't looking beyond Lima and Trippier at right back with R Gomes for cover if needed. Plus, Pinheiro is negotiating with at least two La Liga teams including Athletico Madrid.

Niko Sigur is wanted but looks to be favouring a Bundesliga club.

Wolves are really interested in Aston Villa's Lewis Dobbin. Southampton are also trying to get the player. Both a loan to buy and a permanent move for about 10 mil are on the cards. He played decent on loan at Preston, has pace and scored doubl digits last season.

5

12 Jul 2026 17:08:37
Why Championship player at best. Sign him 3 or 4 year contract, not good enough. Get in PL and Wolves trying to get rid, no chance. Better options out there and cheaper.

2

13 Jul 2026 09:43:22
Horses for courses, I feel. The likes of Dobbin could get us promoted. That's our immediate focus. Let's not get ahead of us.

3

13 Jul 2026 11:09:11
Deep Throat makes no odds now, as he's agreed to join Southampton for 9mill plus add ons.

1

13 Jul 2026 11:28:44
Wolves don't need Dobbin. He's a left winger and the club has signed Said. Rodney Gomes can also cover that position.

Wolves currently need, as a matter of urgency, a new GK and a player to complement Andre.

There should be plenty of movement in the next couple of weeks.

The stupid 5 1/2 week World Cup has messed things up for most clubs. It'll be even worse when it becomes a six-week tournament.

5

13 Jul 2026 11:58:11
Not buying this World Cup getting in the way business.

There are plenty of clubs who are actively signing players, even though the players are still at, or have very recently been eliminated from, the World Cup.

Youri Tielemans to Man Utd being a very recent example.

Wolves are not after international superstars, so most likely the players haven't been to the World Cup and are now back in pre-season training.

3

13 Jul 2026 12:33:53
Of course the World Cup affects clubs signing players? Are Wolves a League One side trying to sign non internationals from the UK? Are Wolves trying to get rid of players who are Internationals? Are Wolves trying to sign players who are internationals? Has Matt Jackson - a sporting director and ex player - come out and said the World Cup affects players coming in and going out? You know more than Matt Jackson?

Have Man Utd signed a player who has just come back from the World Cup without injury?

The World Cup has 48 teams in it. How many players are there? 600+. 600+ players who will move around the top leagues in the world. The Championship is one of those leagues. Is the Championship classed as one of the most important leagues in the World? You want Wolves to sign a player at the World Cup who does his ACL in the next game? Raul is different.

Wolves had to take a massive risk and sign him or risk losing him. Hence Nathan moving pre World Cup to get him.

Matt Jackson has stated that now clubs are back in training, and the WC is effectively over, players will now start leaving and coming in. You know better? Get yourself to the Mol and take over the transfer dealings. The club only needs Good. Guys got it sussed.

Highly unlikely Wolves are looking at Alfie Flowers and Matty Bloomer from Isn't Life Easy FC, so players coming in will be affected by the World Cup, in one way or another. Incomings are also linked to outgoings.

Of course the World Cup is relevant to us for signing players! Given that we may not sign any World Cup players, transfers have a ripple effect. World Cup players signed by bigger teams than us may encourage those teams to offload other players! And I'm not ruling out us finding a hidden gem at the World Cup either.

To digress, I note that our former wonder boy Fabio Silva had more yellow cards than goals in season 2025/6, like 4 or something! That's him, innit, billed as the future Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm sure Nathan is wary of past transfer blunders.

As far as I have read, Wolves have targets in mind, but are trying to get some of the deadwood out first.

3

13 Jul 2026 13:55:48
Who are the players that Wolves are trying to get rid of?

Jackson, Tolu, Toti, Mosquera, Joao?

Did any of these go to the World Cup? No. So why haven't we managed to get rid of them?

Why have Man Utd managed to negotiate a deal for Tielemans whilst he was at the World Cup? Likewise, Man City and Elliott Andersen.

If we are after players that played at the World Cup, then yes, I agree that the tournament may have an effect, but I very much doubt we are fishing at that particular pool anymore.

1

13 Jul 2026 14:15:15
Ice Ice. Not saying I know more than Matt Jackson, but you became very defensive very quickly. What I'm trying to say, and the point you're missing, is that most clubs are now back in pre-season training. Wolves, including Jackson, said the club had already identified their targets, so why haven't these players signed? They are no longer on holiday, so where are they? If we somehow manage to sign anyone who played in the last 16 of the World Cup, then I will happily apologise and say that the World Cup halted progress.

But why haven't the likes of Patterson, Dan Neil, and players of that kind been signed? They weren't at the World Cup and are back in training.

All this moaning. Trippier and Raul are fantastic signings for the EFL.

No club will beat those signings this summer.

I think Sa and Gomes will stay. They love the club and have always tried to fight, regardless of the team and manager situation. Even if it's just Sa - a Portuguese international in your team at this level is a massive step up.

The issues really depend on Cesar's priorities.

I think we will move to a back 4, so I think every CB will leave this summer.

I think we need three wingers along with Said.

We need pace and technical ability in defence and attack. That has been lacking for 18 months.

And possibly another midfielder and CAM if Lopez doesn't stay.

On the flip side, Cesar may decide to focus on forwards and move Jackson, Tolu, Johnstone, Krejci and Armstrong on.

It's an interesting period, but the club have covered themselves by signing more homegrown players.

Sa
Trippier Bueno Mosquera Bueno
Andre ?
? Mane ?
Raul

Also it's quiet at Molineux, but it's busier than at other clubs at the same time.

The homegrown rule remains as well, so some signings will take longer, especially for homegrown players with the higher fees and complicated contracts.

I'm a bit confused on this. Trabzonspor have agreed a loan with option to buy for Tolu. Wolves in reports had stated they wanted the money back or 3 to 4 mill less or nothing would happen. Now reports saying a loan deal but not how much, plus 8 to 10 mill euros on performances and other things.

That means Wolves could sell Tolu for less than 15 mill euros after paying 23 mill. But then again getting 4 mill in wages off the books could be why if they're paying most of it on the loan deal.

Possible that Wolves' thinking is that they want rid of him. Not have another Fabio on their hands, where he's persistently hanging round like a bad smell.

So long as Wolves don't get their pants fully pulled down, get as much as possible and pie him off. He was an atrocious signing.

Whoever scouted/suggested him would be better off running a spud stand.

Wolves aren't the only club guilty of doing this. How much did Chelsea lose on Raheem Sterling? Man City once gave Wayne Bridge a £25 million contract to basically sit at home supping tea.

1

12 Jul 2026 22:16:54
Wayne Bridge is a little different. Didn't John Terry sleep with his misses, causing a bit of a rift in the squad?

Wolves are reportedly close to signing Chicago Fire and South Africa centre back Mbekezeli Mbokazi for around £3.5 million.
