Trabzonspor interested in Tolu Arokodare. He might leave given how much depth we have in our striking positions.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 09 Jul 2026 01:01:16
Depth?

2.) 09 Jul 2026 09:36:15
Sarcasm.

3.) 09 Jul 2026 10:52:21
No point in keeping Tolu at Wolves if he has no future at the club. There wouldn't be a place for him in the team with King Raul Jimenez. I’m hoping Wolves bring Sasa back into the team. He would complement Raul.

4.) 09 Jul 2026 12:24:55
Sasa is not up to it, Ice Wolf. Watched him on his brief appearances in the World Cup, scored a good late equaliser, but was totally ineffective otherwise. Not quick and easily bypassed, Raul, Adam Armstrong and Mane will be well ahead of Sasa, plus any further additions.

5.) 09 Jul 2026 19:22:20
Honestly, I prefer Tolu over Sasa any day of the week. If Tolu is ok to play a secondary role, he would be a brilliant super sub. He is physical, and fights for every lost ball.

We saw how brilliant he was in the Liverpool game, even bodying Van Dijk. Imagine what he could do against tired Championship defenders, though he does have to work on his scoring a bit.

6.) 09 Jul 2026 22:27:13
I completely agree with Adam.

17 Jan 2026 17:58:04
Full agreement found between Besiktas and Wolverhampton for Emmanuel Agbadou for 11.5 Mil.
Thoughts?

Adam_Wolves

1.) 17 Jan 2026 18:54:12
Far too cheap. We need to tell teams if you want him then this is what you need to pay. I would have said 20m personally. We are too nice and cheap when we sell our players.

2.) 17 Jan 2026 19:40:42
Well we bought him for a reported £16.6m so for a full year of Prem experience most of which he has been our best CB and we are selling him at a £5.5m loss! Absolutely shocking business which also says just about everything regarding the current state we are in, shameful! I also worry about the message this sends, cause we can keep pubicaly saying that 'we haven't given up' but if your sat in that dressing room and watching the best players be sold off at a loss then I'm afraid to say that as a player you'd be forgiven for thinking that the club has indeed given up and as such it's now every man for himself! As always it's Fosun who are to blame and to think I spent all summer having a handful of posters telling me what a great job they are doing! ?

3.) 17 Jan 2026 20:21:34
On last season's form the 3rd best player in the squad.
So the question is was that the anomaly or was the blip at the start of this season, ( when Vitor clearly was to put it mildly not running the show as had done for a brief period the season before and standards were allowed not to slip but plummet!), the anomaly.
If you think he is rubbish and last year was somehow a fluke - not sure how you play that well for that long as a fluke myself - then Wolves have got a fair price albeit still a fair bit less than they paid and will record a loss even after amorts on the trade.
But if you think he was a victim of Vitor's cataclysmically bad management over the summer/early part of the season but is actually capable of reaching the levels he did last season then it is a very bad sale.

It is a disaster for the rest of the season and although he was unlikely ever to play in the Championship a first sad dismantling of the side that should be too good for the Championship but might not, after the remainder of the good players leave, be good enough for it.
It also demonstrates clearly what the squad might raise - after Gomes, Andre and Krejci unless someone is still willing to - unlike it seems with Emmanuel - look beyond this year maybe JSL and with a fair wind Mane, Arias and perhaps Tolu no one else will raise much at all.
Just watched Forest get a point and see that neither WHU or Burnley lost so yet another v bad day for the club!

4.) 17 Jan 2026 21:22:33
BB - as usual spot on.

Astonishingly if you look on social media there are still supposedly Wolves fans sticking up for Fosun claiming it is just v hard/impossible to run a club in the Prem any better than they have.

There are even more - in fact I would say most posters - who think that next season somehow everything will flip and Fosun will once again, (they were for 4 years at the start before Covid/ Chinese government pressure/Jeff's hubris/Jeff's incompetence bit post Seville), become great owners after realising that being outside of the Prem is not as financially rewarding as being in it - wow really who would have thought!.
The current side, albeit desperately thin on depth, with just a new RWB and GK is good enough not just to get promoted from the Championship but survive in the Prem . Why then you might ask is it going down so so badly?
Sadly, but given what an idiot he is totally predictably, Jeff didn't learn from his catastrophic mistake with GON and kept Vitor several months too long and then to compound it RE failed to drop JSL or play Mane until it was far too late.
New GK, New RWB, Yerson Emmanuel, Krejci, Bueno ( or Wolfe) Andre, Gomes, Mane, Bellegarde, (or Arias), Tolu would easily get promoted.

But at least 6 of the players named above won't be there - maybe more - and none of the newbies will be anywhere near the quality of those leaving so Wolves won't be walking the league next year or indeed anytime soon!

5.) 17 Jan 2026 21:27:49
At 5pm it was reported that agreement had been reached but at 6pm another report says €14m + bonuses turned down.

6.) 18 Jan 2026 13:52:19
You don't get anything for 11.5 million these days. who sanctioned that?. 18 million minimum. no matter how it's buttered up he's a premier league player until the end of the season.

7.) 19 Jan 2026 01:17:20
My guess with Agbadou is that he sees the writing on the wall and wants out, don’t forget how bad his form was at the start of the season, you don’t go from being an absolute rock to not being able to pass the ball 5 yards.

Maybe he hit bad form, maybe he had a falling out with Vitor but my guess is he was sold a dream by the club and that dream turned into a nightmare, so now he wants to leave, hence the cheap price.

11 Jan 2026 12:38:17
With Rodrigo Gomes back, what are your thoughts of playing him over Tchatchoua in the Newcastle game?

Adam_Wolves

1.) 11 Jan 2026 15:58:43
Even if he hadn’t played recently I’d have chosen Rodders. Tchachi doesn’t use his skills!

2.) 12 Jan 2026 21:25:19
I'd sign a rwb I like Gomes further forward tbh.
Jackson did look poor against Shrewsbury though.

10 Jan 2026 17:25:16
Finally some news on signings. Wolves are leading the race to sign Hibs striker Kieron Bowie. Thoughts? This news comes after a wonderful hat-trick by JSL against the Shrews.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 10 Jan 2026 17:45:23
Callum Wilson for me, proven Prem goal scorer, would score for fun in the Champiomship.

2.) 10 Jan 2026 18:30:45
I'd sign both both look useful.
Wilson didn't do too much last weekend tbf.
But still feel someone with abit of pace and technical ability would get us some points against any side before the end of the season.
Next 4 games are pivotal to me. As we could get 9 out of 12.

Will the club get the players to makesure we get the points.
I think 6 points would make the last 3 months of the season interesting as we have forest after the next 4 games so the points difference could be 6. As I can't see Forest winning any of the next 4.

3.) 11 Jan 2026 07:39:10
Really hope we get atleast 6 points in the next 4 games, but can't see it happening.

4.) 11 Jan 2026 10:11:23
Didn't say it would be easy pal.
Just the home games are there and we need to make Molineux a fortress.
City is the hardest game out of the 4 so I'd write that off.
But maybe with a few signings the team will continue with this new impetus.
They still need quality upfront x2 and a RWB.

Jackson was atrocious yesterday scared to take a league 2 full back on.
I'd get a cb aswell so we keep more clean sheets.
For me Wolfe and Jackson haven't done enough over the last 6 months. Neither can say they haven't had a chance.

08 Jan 2026 20:14:21
Just heard that Newcastle are very interested in Mateus Mane. He just signed a new contract till 2029. Will he still stay at the club, even if it is relegated. Thoughts?

Adam_Wolves

1.) 09 Jan 2026 10:33:44
Mane will obviously leave at the end of the season if we are relegated. If he continues his cracking form, he may prove to be Wolves' first £100mil player. Remember Zeli Ismail?

2.) 09 Jan 2026 10:59:02
Maybe a case of selling him to a premier league club but hopefully loan him back to us for the season in the championship where he will play regularly, hopefully we don’t sell him .

3.) 09 Jan 2026 11:24:13
If Mane continues his form he will be too good to risk in the championship even if he stayed. He looks an even better prospect than Diogo Jota was, and Jota was hacked continually in the championship with us.

4.) 09 Jan 2026 12:07:49
Really hope he doesn't jump the ship. Also, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on him.

5.) 09 Jan 2026 13:29:43
Do you really think Fosun will hold out for £100M!? ? History shows they’ll do a quick deal, money in their pocket and sod the team!

6.) 09 Jan 2026 16:47:27
If this kid Mane keeps going the way he has been playing so far, we have a long contract with presumably no release clause, so the sky is the limit for him. Every top team will be interested. Once in a while a generational talent comes along in any league, and we may have such a talent. Jeff thought he had signed one in Fabio Silva, but when Jeff resigned, there was Mane under his nose awaiting for his chance.

Would Jeff and VP have given him chance? Full credit to Rob. I can't see how we can hold onto Mane after this season, so let's get a bidding war going. Think what Citeh paid for Grealish for a start.

7.) 09 Jan 2026 18:08:01
Strange, that Wolves have picked up since the clueless jeff Shi has been replaced.
I am teetotal but the day that clown left our club I actually had a drink or two.
Good riddance of the useless loser that is jeff Shi.

8.) 12 Jan 2026 19:11:00
Useless loser Jeff Shi., .
No, No, No he wasn't that good
.

This would be my Wolves team, if I was the manager
Formation = 4-1-4-1
The players being sold are Sasa, Jose Sa, Toti Gomes, Hugo Bueno (Board pressure), Tchatchoua, Mosquera (Board Pressure), Joao Gomes and sadly Krejci (Likely going to Leeds after they sold Struijk).

Starting XI
gk - Radek Vitek (in exchange for Johnstone + some money)
lb - Moller Wolfe
lcb - Max Alleyne (if not then Arrey-Mbi, might be difficult)
rcb- Santiago Bueno
rb- Trippier
cdm - Andre
lm - Gnoto (goes down the pecking order after Harry Wilson's arrival)
cm/cam - Mateus Mane (in case we keep him)
cm - Jordan James
rm - Yeremy Hernandez
St- Raul Jiminiez

Squad = Tolu, Diego Liete (signed on free), Filipo Rannochia, Saba Kharebashvili (backup lb), Rodrigo Gomes, Angel Gomes, Tommy Doyle, Tolu, Adam, Bellegarde, Lima, etc.

Please no hate, this is just my team. Feel free to drop any suggestions.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 09 Jul 2026 20:37:30
That's a good team, but not sure Tolu will stay. This might be the team if there was no Fosun.

2.) 09 Jul 2026 20:40:19
No hate, Adam, mate. In fact, I agree with a lot of that team. I just hope we keep Krecji, but I also suspect your logic is absolutely bang on (re: Leeds). Would love to see us get Max Alleyne, Vitek and Gnoto in, but worry they are all out of our league. But I very much hope I'm wrong, buddy. ?

3.) 09 Jul 2026 20:52:55
Yet another post with team sheets containing players that have not signed and in truth are nowhere near signing.

4.) 09 Jul 2026 21:20:33
Angel Gomes. Hasn't he returned to Marseille? Are you buying him or loaning him again?

5.) 10 Jul 2026 06:27:07
Diego Leite is going to Saudi Arabia.

07 Jan 2026 17:44:47
Just heard that Rob Edwards said that Wolves are not going to make a lot of changes in the squad. Making the same old transfer mistake

Adam_Wolves

1.) 07 Jan 2026 19:12:32
A lot of changes doesn't necessarily help; look at last summer. Additionally, our position dictates that we can't attract those that we may ideally wish for.

2.) 07 Jan 2026 19:20:24
To be honest Adam there's no point throwing good money given the position we're in, plus who would expect would want to join us? It was bad enough before trying to secure anyone. We might get a couple of stop gaps but that'll be it.
It's how many we hang onto in January that'll matter.

06 Jan 2026 18:34:01
Why are we so quiet in the transfer window, when we clearly need to improve so many positions. We have to go for some quality players, so that if we do get relegated, then we can come right up. Players like Kaishu Sano (Mainz), Thierry Correia (Valencia), Abdul Fatawu (Leceister), Anis Mehmeti (bristol)

Adam_Wolves

06 Jan 2026 16:34:18
Why are Wolves keeping so quiet in the transfer window? We know we always get raided at the end and then we don't get time to get quality transfers. We need a new gk, rwb, winger, midfielder and maybe even a striker if Larsen leaves. But we are so quiet. The only rumour I have heard about is Kalvin Phillips to Wolves, and I think it is a really bad move.

We have to go for some quality players, so that if we do get relegated, then we can come right up. Players like Kaishu Sano (Mainz), Thierry Correia (Valencia), Abdul Fatawu (Leceister), Anis Mehmeti (bristol)

Adam_Wolves

1.) 06 Jan 2026 18:15:36
Probably working on an alternative to Jeff Shi's transfer plans now he's gone Adam. That of course was to sell off anyone that would fetch a decent price then spend the last week of the window buying anyone that would come.

I still think this window may surprise a few, not so much by who they buy in but more by who doesn't leave. One or two either way max, imo.

2.) 06 Jan 2026 18:22:33
Kalvin Phillips bad trainer evidently doesn’t want to put the work in!

3.) 06 Jan 2026 21:19:28
Injury prone

4.) 06 Jan 2026 22:03:07
Should go in for West Hams Callum Wilson he would be a good signing

5.) 07 Jan 2026 18:13:29
Certainly be a test of character, commitment, strength and belief this evening - especially after last night’s result.I agree with RE that we would not want to be investing in players if the positive attitudes of the squad continue to improve .We also have a decent group of players who will be returning soon.

A few new players in during the summer (once we know which players are leaving) and we will have a solid foundation in the EFL to bring us success and immediate promotion to Premiership. We now need patience and remain 100% behind the manager and the team. COYW

01 Sep 2025 17:55:16
Wolves could explore the possibility of free agents as any new deadline day transfer seems unlikely, given fosun's reputation. Ayman Kari (CM, CDM) is a good young (20) option and is a free agent. Kurt Zouma and Samuel Umtiti are good experienced defenders, which Wolves need a lot right now.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 01 Sep 2025 19:27:00
What vp wants to do is take the entire squad to edgeley park.stockport and tell them u could be playing here next ssn if u don't start playing.see how they like that. because we most likely will be

Gomes to Atletico Madrid would be really good for his career, and I suspect Wolves are going to sell him, cuz they offered Andre a long deal, and having 2 defensive minded midfielders reduces the creativity of the squad. We should sign a more creative midfielder.
