All 'ifs' and 'buts' I know, but if the reports I have read this morning have any truth on them, I would have Hwang to Leeds for £17m, and Breten-Diaz (£15m) and Dawson (£5m) coming in, would have been sensible business.
Still, on the positive side, we have attracted some amazing talent this Summer, kept hold of Neves, Net and Adama. I'm positive for the season ahead.

Totally agree and in line with stevewolfs msg above.
Would have loved them in, always if course wanting more more for our beloved Wolves.but also would have been happy to have Batushuia in for short term.
Come in Bruno, turn around, or you have to go if you can't get a tune out if this squad ( hope if so Lepordi or whatever he's call - prtugeezer of course) come in

Why is Campbell not give a go now?
0-3 down at home with 10 men and 20 Mims left. Never going to win fRom here. Perfect opportunity to give a young lad a chance.

Lage would sooner play with no one up front than give Campbell a chance. Same goes with Ronan, he would rather bring the totally ineffective Hwang on. Ait-Nouri is not a full back, Jonny much better on the left and Semedo on the right. Seriously think the manager is not up to the Premier.

Campbell did come on and did quite well too.
If Costa still isn't up to speed by West Ham I say give Campbell a start or even Bonatini.

We are saddled with too many same type Portugese midfielders now. I certainly think if they had signed Nunes first they would have not signed Guedes. Abundance of midfielders but very light on strikers. Very pretty footballers but no bite, if Costa doesn't do the business I fear for the season.

I doubt we have anyone Prem ready Stiveswolf and The Daily Mail are saying that Costa may not get a work permit due to his age and lack of recent international football. I can't see Wolves going to all this trouble, however, without being confident that he will, we'll see.

Ruge- I love your ambition, sadly Micheal Edwards has always said he's taking the year off. After that I suspect he will pretty much name his wage and Newcastle will pay it, I would love us to get him but fear (realistically) he will be beyond on reach ?

If he stays (and I hope he does) then this season is his shop window for his next move. He will be extremely useful.
I've always liked him, he puts fear into other teams. Yes, his final product isn't always there (although his last goal was quite good) but give him the ball and he attracts opposition players like Wasps to a pint!

Jesus I love Wolves but understand that they are not the top of the desired list for each and every footballer out there.
Give me 11 Sasa's that want to come here rather than 11 Boly's that don't.

I will be very surprised if Ramos comes. He's playing at his current club, they are doing well, they are in the CL.
It will be one of those stories that hooked people during the window and leaves they asking 'why?'.
I do think we will sign two attacking options though.

I think this is a great deal for Wolves.
They buy a proven European superstar who (eventually) wanted to come here and play, and then sell a decent but unproven player for the same price.
Best of luck to MGW but it seems a massive price to me. Well done Wolves.
What I don't understand is selling players who have been a big part of the pre-season. Players that have knowledge of our strategies, our strengths, our tactics. It's probably all down to timing bit it seems a bit daft to me. Same as Benfica waiting Ramos for first two CL games. If they do well then why sell him after two games.

I totally agree. Get Campbell in the squad now. Young, fit, speedy, knows where the net is. Why waste time, effort and money on a 'has-been' when we are supposedly 'investing' in our youth system.
If they don't do this, what does it say to our young guys?

Bournemouth on Wednesday will be interesting as they shipped 9 this weekend. Always a reaction after thumping like that.
I feel that we will be mid-tabLe thisbyear but have to fight our way up there (a little like Newcastle did last year) then we go for it next year if we cam keep the best players.
