Donk gone, Boubakar Traore in the balance and suddenly interested in Nathan Redmond who can't get in for Southampton -Joke!
1.) 01 Sep 2022 21:02:52
Traore all done I told all other day that's it by looks coyw
2.) 01 Sep 2022 21:11:50
Sky Sports saying B Traore deal done medical shortly, personal terms not expected to be a problem.
3.) 01 Sep 2022 21:29:10
Hopefully we can bring in Denayer in the coming days
30 Aug 2022 09:35:58
Has Bouboukar Traore signed? I've not seen any confirmation.
1.) 30 Aug 2022 14:15:03
Where are you Wolves 4411?
19 Jul 2022 09:00:33
Osorio set to sign?
10 Jan 2022 10:25:56
Spurs are rumoured to be about to offer £18m for Traore. Although with Neto coming back Traore could become surplus to requirement IMO not at £18m. Tell Levy to take a hike.
1.) 10 Jan 2022 13:16:33
Levy NO WAY! Double that if he goes to Spurs. I would far rather he went to Barcelona than see him improve his lot in the prem. Quite clearly he wants to move on and he will.
Bruno has to make sure of getting a centre back; so would prefer to get transfer sorted soon if money is going to be all important in this window.
2.) 10 Jan 2022 13:42:47
£18million plus Deli then yes.
Cash only then at least £25million.
3.) 10 Jan 2022 18:10:02
I'd take £25 million cash or £20 million with add ons. £5 million for 15 appearances £50 million for 10 goals scored over 2 seasons
4.) 10 Jan 2022 19:40:05
Twitter talk is saying straight swap for Dembele from Barca. Oh well, only 3 more weeks of these rumours to go.
5.) 10 Jan 2022 20:59:40
Was that Talking Wolves by anychance Jas?
That guy is a clown posts a load of rubbish on twitter.
6.) 11 Jan 2022 08:12:02
Now “Dangerous” Dave Edwards is urging Wolves to sell contract misfit Adama Traore in his weekly column in today’s E&S.
7.) 11 Jan 2022 21:16:38
I'd take a straight up swap for Dele Alli, third fastest player to reach 50 goals in the premier League I think. Just needs a confidence boost.
8.) 12 Jan 2022 11:00:05
To seanmorton95 - in what position in our system would the lazy Deli Alli actually play? And who would he play instead of?
As we currently play a 3-4-3 surely he can only play on the left side of the front 3 where Podence currently plays and Neto or Hwang will soon be available.
Sounds like a bizarre idea to me.
9.) 12 Jan 2022 11:31:04
He can also play in midfield and is best as a shadow striker, so if Bruno does switch to 4-4-2 he'd fit in behind Raul. Yes he's lazy but he's shown more promise than traore ever has.
10.) 12 Jan 2022 14:57:32
Haha, if Ali has shown more promise than Adama ever has then why is Conte the third manager in a row desperately trying to shift him?! Whereas we are the second club in a row desperately trying to tie Adama down?! Doesn't add up does it, he WAS full of promise and then he had his first drink and ever since then EVERY manager he's had has openly questioned his commitment to the cause?! As I've said before I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole and I suspect Lages to sensible to do it as well!
11.) 12 Jan 2022 16:24:03
I don’t think he could play in our midfield as we only play two in the centre and he’s a bit of a luxury. Even if we go to Lage’s preferred 442 he just doesn’t fit for me, but that’s only my opinion Seanmorton.
Personally I don’t think Spurs have a player available that I would want - but Chelsea do!
12.) 12 Jan 2022 16:28:42
Also, if Chris Wood goes for £25m Adama has to be worth £35m of anyones money!
13.) 12 Jan 2022 16:51:13
Also FYI he was the third fastest SPURS player to reach 50 goals NOT the Prem. In actual fact he doesn't even feature in the top 10 quickest Prem players to get to 50! He has ability but this ain't FIFA and a player with a bad attitude can ruin teams (please see Roger Johnson)!
01 Aug 2021 11:52:13
Rumoured that Wolves are interested in Aaron Ramsey. A strange one to me, he's 30 and costly, he may have experience but isn't he the wrong age range. Moutino is 34 coming 35 so both together in midfield would be aged. Wolves may view him as a stop-gap pending the younger players coming through but that's an expensive stop gap. Ramsey's wages would not be sustainable either, so on balance I hope it's not true. Can do better with the likes of Paulinha, Cavhalio IMO. What a mistake it was letting Goncalves go.
1.) 01 Aug 2021 14:00:31
If FOSUN have ambition then Ramsey could fit well sharing the Moutinho spot and part insurance against Neves leaving us at a late stage as his head is being turned. Nothing against Paulinho or Cavhalio but are they on Wolves radar stil?
2.) 01 Aug 2021 15:57:56
Just need to match his £400k per week salary.
3.) 01 Aug 2021 16:12:37
That is a shame JasM.
4.) 01 Aug 2021 18:56:03
Our club is a investment for fosun nothing else buying 17to 23r olds for 5/ 10/ 15k players and selling them on two three years later with the odd exception for 10/ 30k profit .
Fosun will keep us in the premiership aways finishing between 7th and 15th with the occasional cup run that we might be granted .
We have to remember we are not a family club anymore family clubs do not survive in the premiership.
Regarding our team / squad
To obtain a top half finish we need a good established centre half plus a forward a proven goal scorer .
Neves/ Traore / podence who knows if they’ll be with us this year or next but fosun will have it covered .
5.) 02 Aug 2021 07:12:59
Wolf1960. Thanks for reality check and the fosun 10 year plan. They really almost made a false start in the first 3 years with few injuries. Maybe a larger squad full of youth will continue some progress. Cannot afford expensive prima donna players who are no longer hungry for success.
Bruno will have knowledge of their plan. COYW.
6.) 02 Aug 2021 13:28:56
Rest assured Bruno
Would have been given plans . told in no uncertain terms and spoke to six months ago the plans of fosun well before any appointment Bruno knows more about wolves fc including the squad than any wolves fan he would have been given a blue print six months ago and videos of the last three years regarding the squad and players .
Fosun are a business and a business that failure is not excepted.
Fosun are here to build with youth / young players with the odd exception.
Relegation is not on the agenda if it was their would be no point in buying wolves in the first place .
Wolves fc now are a building in progress over the next five seasons we will see players come and go plus managers . we wolves fc are growing at the moment 7th to 15th in the premiership with the odd exceptions of cup runs anything else will be a bonus .
It’s impossible to rub shoulders with Man City Man Utd Liverpool at the moment but five years time under fosun I believe will be possible.
My advice to any wolves fan sit back enjoy the ride it will come .

Amazing safety assured kick on next season Gon you've been great!
1.) 18 Feb 2024 07:19:10
A great performance today, no doubt, they all stepped up to compensate for missing Cunha. More importantly, sorry to hear that you are unwell Ken, try not to get too excited over these games.
However, they do say that doing one thing every day that scares you is good for the heart. Supporting Wolves surely qualifies.?
2.) 18 Feb 2024 08:31:31
Another 2 wins to take us past the standard target of 40 points will be my final feeling of safety, But realistically I'm with you Mike.
Rated and Ken hope your health and well being is not too bad.
We are wolves and we are the best so the gods are watching over us all always lol.
Come on me babies.
COYW COYW COYW
3.) 18 Feb 2024 11:37:19
We were under the hammer for most of the match (Spurs 70% possession and a lot of that in our half)but we defended brilliantly and indeed had more shots on target than Spurs.Neto, Gomes Lemina excellent and the others weren't bad!
I have to say though I still think Dawson is a weakness, how did he allow them to score and how far away was he when they missed that header late in the game?
Very pleased with the overall performance.
COYW.
4.) 18 Feb 2024 12:55:39
We weren't under the hammer for most of the match. 2nd half, yes, but 1st half no. Possession doesn't mean much if you don't do anything with it. 2nd half we definitely sat back more, but I think that was due to the lads aggressive play in the 1st half and loads of movements and hard work.
Dawson is not a weakness. He made a mistake on their goal, but you can't look at one play and decide if someone plays well or not. As far as the missed header, Dawson was in front and Kilman in back of the player in relatively good positioning, but the cross just dropped in perfectly. Those things happen and I don't think either of defense played it wrong there.
5.) 18 Feb 2024 16:36:53
Hello New Jersey, you say the cross at the end of the game just dropped perfectly and neither of the defenders did anything wrong, Spurs had 2 players in our goal area and not a wolves player within 2 yards of them, is that good defending?
6.) 18 Feb 2024 17:36:00
Longmynd, Phil, thank you. I'm doing fine only been treated as an Outpatient, it was registered on a blood test. They've just put me on some different pills and discharged me to my GP whoever that is, changes by the day. I just get on with life I'm doing Coronary Rehab and I've got a walking aid so I'm pushing a chair around so I've always got somewhere to sit down! It's great in Supermarkets people get out of the way! Great fun!
Let's hope we can do what Brighton have just done next Sunday, that would help the goal difference and get me leaping (figuratively) out of my chair! COYW.
7.) 18 Feb 2024 21:17:52
All the best Ken. Pop the pills and next Sunday Wolves will have you jumping like a gazelle!
23 Sep 2023 18:55:00
Jas, your view that we should have won at Luton is erroneous, it didn't happen, the circumstances don't matter it was only one point, get real!
1.) 23 Sep 2023 18:59:59
I never said we deserved to win. What I said was we were 1-0 up and had the penalty not have been given, Luton wouldn't have scored.
It is what it is but when all of the pundits, ex refs and the fans that saw it say that it wasn't a penalty, then surely we can't all be wrong.
2.) 23 Sep 2023 19:29:20
It’s in the rules that a penalty is not to be awarded when it rebounds off a different body part. Yet for whatever reason they gave it. It’s absolutely shocking.
23 Sep 2023 17:34:40
Can we get a manager before it's too late. The difference between jlo and Gon is there for all to see.
1.) 23 Sep 2023 17:51:18
Is it? What was our away form like under Lopetegui?
2.) 23 Sep 2023 18:23:54
Four points out of 21, yes I've given up city where have you been?
3.) 23 Sep 2023 18:38:57
Sorry it felt like I was watching two teams who are going down
Go, is to blame, we virtually set up with four attackers, two in midfield.
We need to get four in midfield two up front, crazy
4.) 23 Sep 2023 18:58:12
Four points from 21? Do you mean four points
18? We are all Supporting the same team how about a bit more positivity . Things don’t look great it has to be said could be a lot worse … onwards and upwards
5.) 23 Sep 2023 19:25:24
Billy, I said I've written city off, are you prepared to net we get a point?
6.) 23 Sep 2023 22:31:53
No point comparing JLo with GON. JLo left like a big baby, wasn't prepared to coach players he thought weren't good enough. Perhaps he knew he wasn't as good at coaching as everyone thought.
Players let us down today not the manager.
26 Jan 2023 10:17:39
Connor Ronan departure been very quiet on here. I wish him well, he was never given a fair crack and when called upon never let WW down. Best of luck young man enjoy the USA.
1.) 26 Jan 2023 11:47:03
I follow that sentiment Mike. Would have been nice to see Ronan used more. He looked very good at St. Mirren and I'm a but surprised he has not signed for a Scottish Club to be honest. Best of luck to him.
2.) 26 Jan 2023 12:30:00
Me too,
I remembering ronan sure he was 16 when we drew 0-0 and lost on penalties to man City in the league now carabao cup.
Pep was full of praise for Ronan.
Hauss was magnificent that night,
Bright Enikcobour sorry spelling missed sitter right on last minute of normal time if I'm remembering correctly.
Yes good luck in America Ronan.
3.) 26 Jan 2023 15:44:09
Wolves like most Premier League clubs have a large group of players that seem to be permanently on loan and will probably never play for their parent clubs first team.
Connor seemed to just fall into that category, probably due to the quality in Wolves midfield. Best of luck in the US Connor Ronan.
4.) 26 Jan 2023 16:26:54
Wages will almost certainly be better across the pond than in Scotland, GDawg, old firm excepted.
5.) 26 Jan 2023 16:48:42
Didn't KDB come looking for Conor Ronan to swap jerseys after the game? the look of awe on CR's face was unreal.
6.) 26 Jan 2023 17:48:39
I'm sure so Deb but can't 100% confirm.
7.) 26 Jan 2023 18:15:09
Yes he did.
8.) 26 Jan 2023 19:02:03
Nice one Handsome ?
9.) 26 Jan 2023 20:14:33
KDB is a top bloke a friend of mine daughter is ill, is a City fan and was at a Man City match early last year KDB heard of her illness and went up to her signed his shirt gave it to her and gave her the match ball too signed by all the City players.
My friends daughter is well on road to recovery now thankfully.
10.) 26 Jan 2023 23:03:38
Rated - lovely story and great to hear that KDB showed some real class off the pitch as well as on it!
Ps have you seen on "Linked in" a really lovely film obviously taken by the boys father at a Brentford match. The film is of what would appear to be highly handicapped child celebrating at the end of a game as the Brentford players do a lap of honour. First the manager and then several players come over to the boy and join with him in celebrating.
It will make you think of Thomas Frank and a Brentford in a totally different light
24 Jan 2023 08:08:43
With Lampard gone what now for Connor Coady, a return of the prodigal club captain?
1.) 24 Jan 2023 10:12:09
I doubt anything will happen until a new manager is appointed at Everton.
2.) 24 Jan 2023 10:54:03
Actaully nothing will happen until the end of the season, i.e. the end of the loan period but it will be interesting to see if the new manager wants him beyond then. If not he returns to Wolves, will JLo want him as a senior professional and a leader now he's recruited Dawson?
3.) 24 Jan 2023 13:56:17
Probably in the minority but I don’t think having Coady would have made any difference to our defending. Can be more objective when watching him perform for Everton than for ourselves. He doesn’t close down the forward on the ball, allowing them to get a shot off. When he plays or has played as the third off three centre backs it allows him to flatter to deceive. When isolated by a forward he is found wanting,; for pace and for closing down.
Watch both West Ham goals against Everton last Saturday and you will see his deficiencies highlighted. Before you reply that the first goal was Tarkowski’s fault, which it was initially, look at the failure of Coady to react to his partner being beaten. Surely he should have moved to engage the forward rather than back toward his goal.
4.) 24 Jan 2023 14:54:42
True Mikebayleaf but the new manager will probably formed an opinion before the end of the loan period.
5.) 24 Jan 2023 16:27:04
Should Bielsa get the Everton job I can't see him keeping Coady though if they get relegated he might keep him but only on a cheaper contract.
Dyche probably would keep him because he will defend deeper and his pace won't matter so much as it didn't most of the time with us.
Mind you I don't see Bielsa being able to keep them up tbh.
6.) 24 Jan 2023 17:22:34
I wouldn’t even want Coady back, regardless of us or Everton staying up or going down
7.) 25 Jan 2023 17:33:04
I agree SteveSL. Coady is a good sweeper and good at distributing the ball but when he comes up against what I call a REAL centre forward (Harland Kane etc.)he is left wanting. He is not a good centre half-Willy Boly very often did that job when he was here.
22 Jan 2023 10:58:05
Radiohead, it's so easy to cricise and create negative noise but if you don't like thesignings made, given the same budget, who would you havev recruited? No so easy!
16 Jan 2023 20:29:49
Sorry you are Dobbie McGoo to me and always will be. When are we going to see the next original rumour from you not a regurgitation of yesterdays news?
14 Jan 2023 17:48:12
Can't see WW letting Neves go until Prem survival is secure, but thev summer is a certainty. The rebuild has already started.
13 Jan 2023 09:37:53
So when is Neves going?
09 Nov 2022 18:25:00
Lage had a lot to answer for, if he didn't have the final say he should have. Guilty on all counts for me, he was a disaster appointment from day one.
09 Nov 2024 21:20:31
Gon has to be replaced and fast.24 possession is not controlling the game and we can't rely on luck. But please not Rob Edwards.
05 Oct 2024 16:02:43
My goodness you might have a winning bet Rated.
05 Oct 2024 15:45:31
Rule number one if you don't concede you don't lose. Go back to three at the back or go GON.
21 Sep 2024 16:07:21
I would think your bookies welcome you with open arms every week.
31 Aug 2024 19:20:08
Just shows you should question your judgement and stop your negativity.
