I see with us it's part and parcel of being an established premier league club there will always be rumours of our players and manager.
I personally take no notice with nuno to arsenal a week or so ago, Traore to liverpool or man city both a load of twaddle for me.

Wombourneron. Mahrez has just done 2 weeks Quarantine from testing Positive, he was suppose to have played tonight but was withdrawn at the last hour for unknown reason.

Pretty certain this is nonsense but even theoretically I am not sure it is a deal we need to do - particularly as the profits on Jota, Doherty and Costa will mean FFP is unlikely to be a problem in the near term.
Mahrez is 5 years older and undoubtedly on far higher wages and as you say highly unlikely to improve. Traore still has massive growth as a player ahead of him.
If we had to do the deal what would you want Mahrez and what £50m for Traore?

I didn’t say it was going to be today that was the original poster. I was alluding more to the calibre of player. We will sign two midfielders - one you will know about as he has been linked for months, the other the marquee loan to buy signing which will take longer to conclude as there are other interested parties (and rightly so) . Only one is Portuguese!
