A few don't see what Armstrong does off the ball, he moves defenders around opening space for other players, as he plays on the shoulder he is occupying at least two defenders.

He isn't the greatest on the ball no but I think once he gets his goal he will score a few, but watch what he does off the ball, he is way ahead of that waste of space Tolu.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tolu might be better with a full pre season under his belt. He does have an eye for a good pass and his hold up play is occasionally brilliant. Problem is he seems like he needs endless chances to score.

I tell you what I like about Armstrong is he’s a leader, look at last night when it was kicking off he was one of the first trying to sort things out, I actually like tolu as well but I don’t think he’s been fit from the minute he walked through the door at Compton

I agree Rated, Armstrong gets bad press from some Posters, which is misplaced.
I thing he will be a real asset along with Arokodare next season.

Tolu might be a waste of space in your eyes Rated but Arsenal's defenders were on the beach until he was introduced and his physicality can cause problems. He's also pretty good at holding the ball up but as N&N says his conversion rate is poor.

Agreed, he seemed to work tirelessly all evening. Funny how Hugo gets all the plaudits for his goal but it was his poor positional play the lead to arsenals second. As for Edozie his first few touches were pretty poor, giving the ball away a few times, luckily his strike was perfectly hit. A determined performance all round though, glad to see the team fighting still.

Your right about edozies intitial passing goatmark1, but the lad himself said his heart was pounding when he knew he was going on and to run into a prem match against the prem leaders must take an adjustment, no doubt the lad knew what he was doing when he clinically struck the equaliser, something our first teamers have failed to do very often.
Hugo didn't have a good start but his workmate could be seen all night and it increased after his 'wonder' goal.

Tolu may not be the clean ball player, but his presence and persistence causes problems and can run defences all around, certainly not a waste of space as you put it Rated.
We just don't link it all up that often and our passing in general, particularly the 1st half, was awful.
