His criminal record concerns me. I'm all for players having a second chance if they've been young and done something stupid, but his offences are really serious ones. Plus when we have to go abroad for games in pre season (and hopefully one day European competitions) he might have trouble travelling with the squad.

One issue with criminal records for incoming 'workers' from the EU to UK is that such a record can be a problem. The UK has rules about criminal records. Before Brexit this was irrelevant.

If reports are correct and we've offered 18 million for Joao Palhinha and apparently sporting now only want 25 million why don't we just stop messing about and pay it before someone else duz, also as everyone is aware we still need a centre half as well, if money not there to fund it we've got money coming in for Mir and then sell Dendonker and Podence or Traore, nothing against the Donk as he works his socks off but palhinho is a upgrade to be fair and sorry Traore lovers as good as he can be the consistency just ain't there so in my opinion he is a luxury not a necessity. Would keep Cutrone as 3rd striker but if he leaves we will would probably need to replace as well. Much as I love moutinho it may be time to free up his wages but would be just as happy to keep him if we can afford to.

Jack Grealish is 68.5 mil on transfer market but city have already offered around the 100 mark? Traore is valued at 27.5 mil but vertically every wolves fan would expect and want more than that, surely palhinha is worth 25 mil?
Anyway for the sake of 7 million ( not to serious money to owners who want top 6 or better) I would rather pay a bit over and get what you want than offer a bit less and end up with nothing.

Guys wondering what your thoughts are on Jota's quotes on four four two recently on how he was persuaded to join wolves by Mendes even though he and his uncle had doubts and then claiming you sometimes have to take 1 step back to take 2 forward? Personally I think he is being a bit disrespectful towards Wolves as being at A Madrid for 2 seasons and never starting once for them to then joining wolves and being a regular is hardly a step back to be fair even if wolves were a championship side at the time, Wolves gave him everything he has now so a little more respect from him towards wolves would be nice in my opinion and let's not forget he was was struggling to get in our eleven when we sold him for a good price so maybe it was wolves who took 1 step back and 2 forward for taking a gamble by paying good money for a sub to more than doubling it in his sale Liverpool.

Id agree with him tbh as much as it annoys me. He might not have played much for Atletico but he was still employed by them. 3rd biggest club in Spain, regulars in the Champions league, awesome stadium, great players etc etc. We had Danny Batth still in our 11.

Ok fair enough maybe disrespectful was the wrong word I used, anyway good look luck to him he got the move he wanted and we all have moved on and only time will tell who got the best deal out of it, us or Liverpool, my money would still be us but we will see.
On a different note good luck to the boys today, would be good to finish the season well and hopefully we see a bit more of Silva, Vitinha and Otasowie.

S A N Without Mendes fingers in our pies as you put it we wouldn’t be where we are today, do you think even half the players that got us to two 7ths and a 13th in the last 3,seasons would have come to a newly promoted side without his influence? Ask Fulham WBA Sheffield united to name just 3 if they would have liked Mendes involved with there club? SQ you are so negative it’s unreal, things ain’t been great pre season but that’s what it is pre season and it’s there to get fit and we do have a tough start but so what? Hardly a reason to say we are going down is it? And to say give Mir and Cutrone a chance is laughable to be honest, firstly neither want to be here and secondly very much doubt either are good enough for the English prem anyway as past performances have proved, don’t forget Mir failed miserably at forest when given a run and that was in the championship, have a bit of faith man, not saying we are top 6 with current squad but would put money on we ain’t bottom 6 and with a few new faces and injured players to come back would think we can somewhere between mid table and top 6 for sure.
