Looks like we are heavily linked with Ruben Semedo, hope so as looks like just what we need at the back to me, big, strong and aggressive, can also play a bit too, would be perfect in a back 4.

I’ve seen this report too and was really impressed with this guy when we played Olympiacos. Good move if we push it through, not mega bucks at 10 to 12 million euros and a chance for another Portuguese player to test himself in the Premier League 👍.

Not for me sorry, not with his criminal record.

Nor me Italia, I suppose if I was being flippant he should settle well in parts of Wlverhampton!

Nor me! I wouldn’t trust him in the back at all and the fact he has a criminal record means only trouble for us as a club.
We have so many better options around the world to go for. I really don’t understand it!

True that Arddunby!
Please let's try and sign an English/ British player for once.

I was going to say "big deal if he has a criminal record" then I found out he pleaded guilty to - kidnap, robbery, wounding, and illegal firearm possession. no thanks.

His criminal record concerns me. I'm all for players having a second chance if they've been young and done something stupid, but his offences are really serious ones. Plus when we have to go abroad for games in pre season (and hopefully one day European competitions) he might have trouble travelling with the squad.

So if Messie or Ronhaldo had criminal records in the past but were available to us (dream I know ) none of you would want them? He’s not wanted for anything he’s been dealt with by Spanish law so why shouldn’t he try and put his mistakes behind him.

LOL because he has a criminal record he has paid for his mistakes so should be given a chance he went court pleaded guilty end of story

One issue with criminal records for incoming 'workers' from the EU to UK is that such a record can be a problem. The UK has rules about criminal records. Before Brexit this was irrelevant.

I remember that Messi and Ronaldo were nicked for tax evasion. Criminal offence. Can't remember the outcome.

Their sentence was under three years and under Spanish law, they did not have to serve any time.

Younger brother of Nelson Semedo, so hopefully he would be a good influence. Looks a good player, strong and quick. Has a bit of a dodgy disciplinary on-field record. Another option may be Marcia from Galatasary, similar strong centre back. Can’t see Galatasary wanting to keep him after his antics at the weekend. Could be a bargain buy.

A hard man at the back is what we surely lack in many games where Wolves are a defensive pushover. Could be a good option for Bruno when he feels we are, or could be, physically disadvantaged, which happened frequently last season. COYW.

I realise now Ruben Semedo would not be a roll model for Wolves. Even on loan he would be on a hiding to nothing with referees. Not to mention pundits.
We surely could do better!
