All is well dave,
Bitterly disappointed we lost but could easily got a point or the win.
We didn't get hammered and competed like a proper premiership team.
The fine margins is something that can be worked on.
On a personal level still dreaming of owning my own yacht lol for now will have to have to do with my Monday night egg&chips.
Didn't see read to much about villa but at least Danny ings got off the mark for you.

I'm saying nothing on football for the time being sick of daring to have an opinion (which is all it is) that gets jumped on by people who have little to say other than disagree. I agree things will be settled when the window shuts, it seems its been open for ages.
I guessing it's been and still is uncertain/ nervous/ uncomfortable/ head doing for all concerned the club fosun bruno Lage and all us fans.
We may see 3 or 4 signings or not who knows.
I think the window should be closed before the season starts but with our first 3 games being agaisnt top of the table champions league chasing teams we aren't on paper expected to get any points so for us it may not be as bad as it could.
On our day we can beat anyone and this is how I see me being a fan is to want to win even if the odds are stacked agaisnt us.
I hope for a win agaisnt man utd on the 29th (hope I got the date correct) then next day bank Holiday Monday with hopefully a red hot heatwave day off work, lol I don't want much lol.

We seem to be linked to all and sundry at the moment, which is to be expected. The strongest link is for the centre back R Semedo. Together with olivier (? Excuse spelling) and a. n. other that would be in the €40m area. Where we generate that much from is the interesting part, sales of mir otasowie, possibly seiss would go some way towards it, but who knows? Traore or neves would be enough alone although obviously we'd be better off keeping. Like you phil I'm excited at the season to come, and I really do think we can achieve a top end finish, it'll take a few games but I'm full of hope. I don't expect to get much out of the first 3 games but I still believe before each match . Spurs man utd big games for obvious reasons but I'll be hoping for upsets. COYW.

Good afternoon everyone, I have been reading your posts as I do from time to time.
I have now become aware that Phil has some problems, and needs time to help him through.

Me personally think Traore wants to leave as I guess he wants more money hence the reason he hasn't signed the new contract with us.
Traore is such an enigma world class brilliance but has no consistency.
With our change of manager there is always the possibility that Traore will have consistency and have a regular end product as of which he has only had for half season with us.

Traore is a strange one, it is hard to know what Traore you're going to get when you see his name on the starting eleven. When he's up for it or on form he's almost unplayable. Then there are times he makes terrible decisions and unproductive runs.

For me traore would give any team the element of surprise as you never know what or where he's going to go. He's an asset just for the free kicks you'll get, it's what you do with them that counts tho. I could envisage bruno improving things in a 442, but, and I think a big but, he'd have to have adamas respect and commitment. Personally I think he'll leave but I'd love him to stay.

I've always thought that Adama has always struggled to play in the very structured way that Nuno had with all the players otherwise you didn't play. He never seemed to keep the run going into the penalty area. I think this was playing to instructions. I'd love to see him in a more free role but with it very clear that he worked for 90 minutes and didn't disappear for long periods. As we saw in a few games last season when he gets in the box with his close control and quick feet he can cause chaos and goals. I don't think it's money that's the problem it's about the freedom to express himself. That's my personal view anyway.

Wolves Villa and Leicester in the top 10 and wolves and villa to get better and grow stronger year on year and in the next few years be challenging for the major honours.
Well that's my dream for wolves with fosun and the new guy really looking forward to the new season.
A very exciting time to be a wolves fan as one of our own stated yesterday.

Makes sense to want Leicester, Villa and Wolves to thrive. Too much football power concentrated elsewhere in the country to be healthy. Obviously Leicester and Villa have had great seasons in 2020/ 21 but Wolves can catch up with Bruno in charge.

Much better with more local interest but why is it always Wolves playing catch up, everything was in place progressing nicely and someone pressed the self destruct button, just before the start of last season.

Playing catch up?! We finished top of the League in the Champ then finished the next two seasons in 7th which was above every local team bar Lec?! And frankly after their miracle season the whole of the Midlands will (rightly) be playing catch up with Lec for a good while to come! I get that last season was hard/ poor Ox but not sure that means we are suddenly that far behind? Don't forget the previous season Villa were only just saved by a hawk eye error?! ðŸ‘ðŸº.

Hope you do Nigel, it certainly shows we are lacking something.
We overplayed the ball far too much in the final third, and snatched at every chance we had, poor finishing end of.
Burnley set up well, and rode their luck.
