Needless to say the Leeds game is massive, ridiculous to think that a game this early in the season could be so important. Lose this and where do we go from there, VP seems to think that the team is playing in a good way, I can’t see it myself.
Unfortunately it seems, history will repeat itself unless performances and results improve starting next week, inevitable that we start to question VP now.

Absolutely ridiculous comment.Slag off the board, not the manager.Doing a good job with the players he has been left with.Good performance v Newcastle yesterday, and Vitor clearly still trying to find his best starting 11.Other than Spurs next 5 fixtures all wins.

I had great faith in VP but sometimes you do wonder sometimes particularly around team selection. Having said that we generally don't look a bad side just lack an attacking punch at the moment and just a bit aimless, no inventive spark up front.

Maybe just lacking Larsen is the issue or maybe it's just the consequence of diluting the squad year on year. Either way if things don't improve soon don't rule out another Manager change by Xmas, again.

You're living in a time warp and need to get over it. How many times but Nuno's gone. He was sacked. He ain't coming back. He's history. If you're very lucky you can get him on a rerun of a old game on Sky, or you may get the FA cup semi final against Watford when we were 2-0 up and cruising. Then he took Jota and Raul off and we lost 3-2. If you're not happy with that maybe take a look at the games in his last season when we were in free fall!
Manager's come and they go. Just get over it!

Oh dear, now you’ve started something.
Surely you are aware that Nuno had no plan b?

And why?

Doesn't matter who manages the players we have available, even Pep couldn't do anything with them. When you have to play the likes of Whang it's like starting with the men. The only big of quality we have namely, Andre, J.Gomes and R.Gomes are flogging a dead horse. We are still crying out for a quality centre half, and after the loss of Cunha and Ait Nouri we have no creative players so we get nothing up front.

Ray389.
You're right. With Hwang we are carrying a passenger. His work rate is non existent and he doesn't hold the ball up to bring others into play. It is virtually 10 Vs 11 with the added handicap of Hwang. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the first team now. His contribution is next to zero. He put one ball across to Tolu in the 1st half which their defender cut out, but other than that I can't honestly remember what else.

Every one keeps blaming the board they have backed vp with the players he asked for can anyone say that Munesti or any of the African players he's signed are good enough as I've mentioned before I was told VP wasn't good enough by a Benfica fan same old tactics never changes looks like maybe he was right

Agree Ray389 Hwang offers nothing at the moment, soon as the team came in yesterday, surely we all thought the same 10 v 11 from start. Just can’t understand why VP keeps starting him, must see something no one else can.
Also agree with lack of creativity, Lopez for Hwang seems obvious to me. Arias has not been the Cunha replacement as billed unfortunately, whether he needs time or not, just doesn’t look good enough at the moment.
If we start with the same 11, well 10 v Leeds can’t see us winning. We have Leeds, Spurs, Everton in cup then Brighton I think, how many of those will we win? May be being pessimistic but just can’t see many points, maybe a draw v Leeds, that’s it.

Regarding Hwang, surely he has to get into the team?
You need to think about all those shirt sales to our Asian fans. ?
Cynical bugger aren’t I?

Has to be the only reason he gets in the team these days 3G, we must sell an awful lot of shirts, still not enough to improve the stadium though ?

Maybe he's got an appearance fee written in, got to play X amount of games in season so VPs getting rid of em early, hopefully he'd have made them all now.

Sorry gents I often agree with some of you guys but any notion that VP is playing Hwang due to pressure from the board/appearance related bonuses is conspiracy level nonsense! Whilst I understand the frustrations it is also worth noting here that Hwang had our best shot on target yesterday and also played in the best through ball! Ammidotely he then took the rest of the match off but then Cunha used to as well, difference is Cunha would have got the goal and and assist before!
Ironically the REAL answer is far more worrying! VP ain't playing Hwang cause he has to, he's doing it because going into the match he was the ONLY attacking player he had availible with any genuine Prem experience! Instead of being annoyed with VP (or even Hwang) for starting maybe we should be asking why VP finds himself in a position where he's having to rely on Hwang in the first place?! ?

JSL would have started if fit instead of Hwang surely.

Don't think so Ard, cause I think Tolu started for JSL. Hwang more likely started for Arias, who looks about 3 months off the pace. And there in lies the problem!
