BBC Sport’Gosdip’ is reporting that … and I quote :
‘Real Madrid are considering offers in the region of 20m euros (£17.69m) - from Sunderland, Aston Villa and Wolves for 21-year-old Spanish forward Gonzalo Garcia.’
Yeah that’s obviously going to happen ay it?
???
1.) 17 Nov 2025 10:39:22
Hmmm not sure 3G
Look at the options, Sunderland who are flying in the league and have ambitious owners, villa who are playing in Europe and have ambitious owners or us who haven’t won in 6 months rooted to the bottom of the league but have a cracking esports team, no brainer for a young Spanish player ??
2.) 18 Nov 2025 08:05:34
We apparently after dwight mcnieal and kalvin Phillips if this is the case at least prem and English experience
03 Nov 2025 11:22:52
O’Neil is odds on now. 10/11.
I wish somebody would wake me up. This has to be a bad dream.
1.) 03 Nov 2025 12:28:23
As predicted the names don't inspire confidence.
Not sure what Vitor was thinking with his team selection Saturday.
I think you have to sell a plan/ project that we can all get behind.
A manager with European pedigree and a transfer budget would be exciting, as all hope seems lost at the moment.
I was hoping West Ham lost so we may have got Nuno as I would revert to a back 5. To keep clean sheets and start to pick points up.
Could we tempt Sérgio Conceição to the Molineux?
I get why fans like British mangers but I just think its misplaced loyalty.
We need a manager with different tactical options and a well drilled shape.
Rodgers was awful in his last season at Leicester.
Rob Edwards is too much of a gamble.
O'Neill is put out there to divide the fan base.
The club need to have and back a plan. I guess Teti is leaving as well.

2.) 03 Nov 2025 12:38:37
This shows us all how desperately we need to get Fosun out of our club. Cheap, unimaginative and uninspiring. We have become a laughing stock and joke of a club due to how these non-football people think. On the positive side of things no VAR next season and we get to play the Baggies twice.
3.) 03 Nov 2025 12:45:18
It's not a bad dream, it's a nightmare. I can't believe any club would be so lacking in ambition that they rehire a failure. What self respecting player would come here knowing we have no ambition.
He lost the dressing room last time, Vp lost it this time. A disciplinary is what's needed to get a grip of this bunch. Biggest problem is we have no leader on the field, just a rabble with no leader.

Good article from LongmyndWolf but couple of comments if I may.
‘And if we are heading into a relegation fight, ’ IF? have you looked at the table lately?
And regarding ground development… well I can guarantee we won’t be seeing cranes above Molineux in 12 months time and as for fans sitting in the rain - I reckon the crowds we’ll be getting next season with all fit under cover quite comfortably.
(Well maybe not that comfortably in the Steve Bull, but that’s another thread). ?
1.) 05 Feb 2026 10:08:40
The Graham Hughes stand still being a thing after 23 years is frankly a disgrace.
Over the next decade or so if the ground is redeveloped with PSR rules being a thing and I believe the percentage of wages to income getting stricter not only staying in the Premier League is going to become a pipe dream again, but even competing in the championship could become difficult. There are some big clubs (and Sandwell) struggling in the championship now having been Premier League sides in some cases for as long as we were.
I believe the following is there and the club is big enough to hold it's own in the Premier League, but the infrastructure and right people to implement it are not.
The lack of revenue growth, reinvestment in the ground and making sure the youth academy produces prospects of value is where the fundamental failures are and that has impacted everything we're seeing now on and off the pitch.
2.) 05 Feb 2026 10:16:15
Hi 3G, actually I didn't and certainly wouldn't have written that. Having been away for a couple of days and only just got to read my post I was surprised to see that it has been 'modified' somewhat.
However, I must say, very nicely presented. Although the core of my post is there some things appear to have been omitted and others added such as the point you mentioned. I'm not sure why, maybe the Eds have a new AI editing toy (lol).
So over to you Ed's, why?
{Ed033's Note - Sorry about that, i read your post and thought it was well written and didn't need altering but the AI 'modified' it when it re-presented it.
3.) 05 Feb 2026 10:21:41
You are probably correct about the following being premier league level Acle, you are also correct about the infrastructure, that can be developed with the correct ownership of the club, the problem is that Fosun will ultimately decide who that ownership is, if and when they decide to leave.
4.) 05 Feb 2026 11:03:31
Thanks Ed033, it's not a massive problem but maybe something you should keep an eye on. If it adds or emits things that can change the intended tone of a post as well as the content that may have unintended consequences.
For example, considering we have been rooted to the bottom since the season kicked off to suggest we are heading for a relegation battle makes the poster, me in this case, sound ridiculous.
Other than that, it did do a very nice job (lol).
{Ed033's Note - I've made an alteration.
5.) 05 Feb 2026 12:18:23
That's kind of what I was angling at Arddunby. Infrastructure, income are all things possible by the owners and as far as I'm aware don't get hit by PSR. The issue is even if the owners did want to do it it needs the right people to execute it all, and previous recruitments leave much to be desired.
Just on our academy it should be a place developing young domestic and overseas talents that either supplement the first team or are sold for the supposed 100% profit to help supplement improving the first team. Other than Mane for a few weeks so far this season (hopefully he has a fantastic career), our academy developments are hugely disappointing and that's at the doors of the owners for who has been recruited to operate it.
Unfortunately with the value of the club going to be decimated by relegation I can't see Fosun as an investment company letting go any time soon. Also who know with the next owners whether we'd get sense and progress, or a bunch of clowns who still could end up being worse than what we have now as crazy as that may sound in this moment.
6.) 06 Feb 2026 18:13:10
Can't do much with the spending rules.
Could fix the stadium but suspect the problem is as much with the council as with the owners.

48 years ago on 27th of December 1977 I went on the train with my mate to Anfield to see Wolves play Liverpool.
I remember getting into the ground at half past one for the 3 o’clock kickoff then waiting for an hour and a half, standing with my mate and the rest of the Wolves fans, for kickoff. We lost 1-0 to a twice taken penalty ?. After the game the police kept us in the ground while the Liverpool fans supposedly dispersed. Then the police heard two scousers in among us who were there to signal to their mates when we were taken outside. I’ll never forget the police pulling them out and a great big massive sergeant turned round and elbowed one straight in the ear, he made it look like an accident but it clearly wasn’t. The scouser then started crying and the police shoved them back in among us Wolves fans saying “there you are you want to be amongst the Wolves fans, in you go”.
A few fans slapped them around the head a bit but nothing serious and then they pulled them out again. When we got outside there were a few hundred Liverpool fans waiting for us, we were escorted by the police all the way from Anfield to Lime street station, a bloody long walk!, with these Liverpool fans following us on the other side of the road, hurling threats all the way. When we got to within about 100 yards of the station the police said there’s the station and left us to run for it. I think the police stopped most of the Liverpool fans following.
True story.
Those were the days my friend ?
24 Dec 2025 09:35:42
I’ve just listened to Lee Naylor (who talks a lot of sense imo) on match day extra.
He’s basically saying that the booing is affecting the players. People complain about players passing sideways and back but it’s because they are scared of making a forward pass which might not come off. Other players who maybe aren’t affected by the boos then see this and feel frustrated so their game suffers.
Basically the booing ay helping.
So we should protest against Fosun, but support the club (which, like the fans will be here long after Fosun have gone) and most importantly support the players.
Fosun Out!
COYW
FWAW
1.) 24 Dec 2025 11:45:56
I'd much rather the players take the risk and fail trying. They'll never score if they don't try to push forward.
2.) 24 Dec 2025 12:00:11
I think we probably all agree but it’s difficult when we’re all also so angry.
Our disappointment of Fosun needs to be highlighted in other areas of theirs other than football, but where best?
On match days maybe we aim the positives at the team like chanting the right words, backing the team and more applause at key moments. Not sure if that would be enough though.
At the end of the day they are adults, paid a great wage in the best league in the world. If some of them were half as good as their agents proclaim they were we wouldn’t be in this mess!
3.) 24 Dec 2025 12:35:06
Booing is a natural occurance at things you see being done badly. As is cheering and whistling at things being done well. disagree with naylor cus its been happening all over the world for year's. They need to grow some and sweat blood for the team or they can go and sulk somewhere else.can't be doing with sulky player's earning a fortune.
No player should ever be scared to play football to the best of their abilities. terrible excuse Mr naylor.
4.) 24 Dec 2025 13:31:52
The are professional players on huge sums of money so the least they can do is try and have some pride when playing for our wonderful club!
5.) 24 Dec 2025 14:35:27
Maybe the players could start by actually trying then, then they wouldn't get booed.
Most of them have their eye on a move away next month so why should we get behind them if they can't be bothered to at least try?
6.) 24 Dec 2025 14:46:37
Since Naylor joined the Wolves commentary team the commentary on the games is almost zero, he needs to look at his performance it is as bad as the players on the pitch.
7.) 24 Dec 2025 15:20:39
He also made the point that players are putting in better performances away from home (villa arsenal) maybe because of the toxic atmosphere at Molineux. I get the frustration and so does he but he’s just making an observation and I think he has a point.
I don’t know if you ever listen to him with Thommo and Burrows but out of the three of them he talks the most sense by a country mile.
And highly paid or not if I was being booed every week I’d want to go in January. That’s human nature ay it?
8.) 24 Dec 2025 17:09:04
There are 2 types of players and it seems that this squad is happy to shirk their responsibilities and claim that the negative vibes are affecting their performances.
They could take the option Stuart Pearce took when Brian Clough used to tell him he was useless after winning his 1st England call up. Pearce decided to get his head down and put his all into every game just to prove the manager wrong.
9.) 24 Dec 2025 22:12:43
I agree about the booing affecting players but we need to think long term. Relegation is a given so the aim of the game is to make the Wolves brand toxic for Fosun's business and get them to sell. Ideally fans should completely boycott games empty seats is a huge issue for owners as advertiser's walk away from toxic brands. I understand fans not wanting to do this so boo away so TV and radio pick it up and broadcast it near and far.
Anyhow Happy Christmas to you all. Good times will hopefully return in a few seasons
10.) 26 Dec 2025 17:23:37
I will write again.
I can't see us winning tomorrow but you ne er know.
We should aim to get Conor C, Adama and the Donck on loan.
Maybe we can break Tommy Disputes loan and Boubarkar T and an extra forward.
Let a few go if decent offers come in but try and keep Joao and make the Doc el capitan.
That's my new year wish.
04 Dec 2025 18:11:02
I haven’t read anything about last nights game but I was talking to someone who went to the match last night.
He said that the players didn’t look interested. The ones who are likely to be going in January obviously didn’t want to risk getting injured. The other players didn’t seem bothered either. Just what he said - he seemed a reasonable bloke.
Make of it what you will but whatever it’s a desperate situation. Still can’t understand Rob Edwards unless Jeff fed him a load of bull, but if he did and RE couldn’t see it then that’s a worry in itself.
Anyway to quote a Green Day song title…Wake me up when September comes….
(Unless we are bottom of the championship or in administration or both ? )
1.) 04 Dec 2025 19:13:25
Been speaking to fans from other clubs on X they've all said the same thing it looks like the players have downed tools.
2.) 04 Dec 2025 20:57:58
We are in serious trouble if they down tools already in Edwards early rein
3.) 04 Dec 2025 21:00:08
I was there last night. All the players put the effort in but the problem is that every time the ball went to Toti, he slowed the game down. Jackson and Arias were in good attacking positions and had we played even half attack minded football, we would have caused issues but no, we kept slowing the play down and allowed Forest to reorganise themselves.
Agbadou, Andre, Wolfe and Gomes were really good I thought but the rest of the teams lack of energy subdued them.
4.) 04 Dec 2025 23:34:20
Must have gone to a different game to me Good if you thought Gomes and Wolfe were really good although Gomes had the excuse that he was carrying an injury for much of the second half. Apart from near the end all Wolfe was content to do was repeatedly pass the ball back even when there was plenty of open space ahead of him.
5.) 05 Dec 2025 13:39:20
Wolfe was the only one trying to take on the defenders and trying to cross the ball.
30 Nov 2025 18:57:19
It’s alright having a wish list for January but who is going to want to come to a club who are nailed on dead certs for relegation?
Premiership has beens?
Championship hopefulls?
I’ve never been so despondent as a Wolves fan. Even in the Bhatti era. Mind you I was young and full of hope then, now I’m old and cynical ?
I used to hope I lived long enough to see us win another major trophy, now it’s just long enough to see us out of this Fosun nightmare and back onto an even keel.
Guys sorry for the negativity.
Can anybody give me hope?
1.) 30 Nov 2025 21:48:28
My first match was 79 so I only vaguely remember the bhattis but my 2 older brothers were in the thick of it when it was all going on, I went we were down in the old 4 division but even then as like you I was younger and more looking to the future and the hope we go up through the divisions which we eventually did, but nowadays I’m just so despondent with what I can see happening and the way the fans are being disrespected by owners who plainly don’t give a ? for the club, it absolutely breaks my heart, but what’s worse for me is I have now got to the point where I’m completely starting to lose any passion I had for the club and fosun have done that, no one else it’s fosun international, shi as much as I despise the bloke is just being a good little soldier and following orders.
We are down and it’s only December. We are in for some tough times ahead in the championship, they won’t invest so we will plod along mid table until hopefully some Saudi or American billionaire with more money than sense buys us
2.) 01 Dec 2025 07:17:36
Like you guys above I was younger and had got so down about the Club I looked for the results but could only imagine us going out of the league. This from seeing us in two successful Wembley a euro final and recollections of a FA cup victory in 60.
Famous Club, famous team, respected.
This time I know I'll be extremely lucky to even see a semi final again, so my hopes, and that is what keeps me going, is that we can reclaim prem status again next season.
RE is a man who can deliver that. I think he's got credibility amongst younger players and if, a big IF, fosun shi etc allow him the means to recruit, he can build a balanced unified team with a common cause.
The rag bag of foreign players without the direct connection of knowledge and loyalty to Wolverhampton will be replaced by players who respect the club and its history its place in English football.
However, as pointed out above what players will they be, where from and then what?
As an oldies know my love is not that as shared by youngsters, and modern players don't play from a true heart. So a proper manager, a manager who knows the importance of Club, fans and city is the best starting point.
Nuno quickly found those qualities and they were then shared in the likes of Neves.
Rob can instil a similar allegiance and understanding, so I do have hope.
The big question that hangs over us is Fosun, it's Shi, it's their distancing from us the true fans and the city.
It's Fosun sadly that hold the purse strings that will make or break us.
I hope that Fosun will finish with us next summer, and although traumatic I hope a new owner will emerge without £, $, € signs in their heads but images of Wright, Bailey, Hughes holding silverware, and of parades through Wolverhampton bedecked in Old gold, packed north and South banks in a famous Old stadium called the molineux ground.
Abit of nostalgia there I know, but I'd like to think my kids, their kids and yours will enjoy that sort of experience.
Rob can lead us back, football a business now though, can we find a business that will provide and share the investments and belief in the product.?
3.) 01 Dec 2025 09:05:07
I want FOSUN out as much as anybody here but the thing is I don't want to be owned by a saudi takeover and become not much different than Man City or Newcastle.
4.) 01 Dec 2025 11:07:02
Agree there Fc
5.) 01 Dec 2025 11:14:41
The lesser of two evils fcwolves
Fosun are absolutely destroying us on multiple levels, the team is a shambles made up of players who are viewed in what resale value they have not what they bring to the club, the academy is about to lose its elite status due to lack of investment, the ground is a disgrace again due to lack of investment, the women’s team nearly all walked last year due to the club not wanting to pay the appropriate monies if they got promoted, as in they wouldn’t of been allowed to be promoted as the club hadn’t paid what they needed to. Fosun have zero and I mean zero interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers as a club/fanbase/city they just want that iconic wolf head to slap on and market as a brand, especially jeffs love child esports! The same Jeff that said nobody outside of Wolverhampton had heard of us before they took over as we were a little provincial club I mean even the esports shirts have the words West Bromwich on them for gods sake can you imagine any other team slapping the name of their biggest rivals on a shirt? I can’t think of one worldwide that would.
Sudu the kit maker is owned by fosun but they didn’t drop the prices of those! They’ve taken a 100 million pound loan out against future tv money and transfer income, that’s got to be paid at the end of this season. They are killing us so in all honesty yea I would take a Saudi takeover and happily become the next Man City or Newcastle.
6.) 01 Dec 2025 13:20:04
Agree 100% De Wolf, 100%
7.) 01 Dec 2025 17:51:51
I want fosun out, but I don't want to be an SA owners toy. Real owner who will put Wolverhampton first.
By real I mean a owner who wants the club to succeed being proud if Wolverhampton and to restore our name by sporting skill and not buying anyone they please and given them the field to.play on.
07 Feb 2026 14:10:03
? That should have been ‘tea lady’s assistant’ (bloody predictive text).
Anyway I’ve heard he makes a really good cup of tea, I reckon she’d be interested ?.
07 Feb 2026 12:58:10
Conor Coady? I’d have him back next year in a heartbeat. First choice, substitute, squad player, coaching staff, even team ladies assistant… just having him around Molineux in any capacity would be a benefit in my opinion. I love the bloke … and he loves Wolves.
07 Feb 2026 10:34:52
‘ The King Power Out protests are picking up steam. Noisier than Fosun Out.’
The problem is not many people other than genuine football fans in this country (and let’s face it who gives a flying f*** about genuine fans?) will even notice the protests so the owners won’t be that concerned.
Why? Because they aren’t in the Premier league.
World football only cares about the PL so their owners won’t feel much embarrassment.
I’ve said it before, we have just 4 months at most to embarrass our owners in front of the world. (If that’s what we want do?)
After that nobody apart from genuine fans will be interested in a club in the championship, regardless of how much protesting the fans do.
23 Dec 2025 09:15:04
Some good points OAP …the only slight concern is…
‘Bring in bench warmers or squad players to see the season out until the Summer’
I’d still like to think we’d could just about beat Derby’s record. It’s looking less and less likely but setting a new record which will probably NEVER be beaten and maybe going a whole season without a single win…going down in history as the worst premier team ever…well that’s going to hurt. ?
22 Dec 2025 22:31:41
Well I’m sure we’ll be able to take our pick of players in January. There’s bound to be loads queuing up to sign for us. Talk about a buyers market. Yes we definitely hold all the cards when it comes to signing players this window.
Can’t wait. ?
08 Feb 2026 17:24:21
Hang on HL. What are you talking about?
I predicted relegation at the start of this season and stuck to that prediction ever since. I didn’t predict relegation any other season.
And I wasn’t looking to be impressive, I was just owning up to being a pessimist and predicting we wouldn’t be involved in a promotion push next season.
08 Feb 2026 12:05:50
‘it would seem that Fosun are preparing for a promotion push in the Championship’
I they are then they are dreaming. I’ll be happy if we don’t go down to league 1.
I genuinely love the optimism on here and I admit I’m a pessimist but I was right about this season when I predicted relegation back in July and August.
(Actually I have to admit I was wrong to a certain extent as I confidently predicted a 19th place finish - so maybe we will have a promotion push after all ? )
06 Jan 2026 20:27:37
That’s not a brighter note. Mason was doing a really good job and I’m disappointed they’ve git rid of him.
Mind you I’m tempted to apply for the vacancy, I reckon I could do an even better job. ?
28 Dec 2025 09:25:47
We shouldn’t have let Jimenez go. We ay had a decent striker since.
Then again we should have let Nuno go, we ay had a decent manager since.
We ay had a decent captain since Coady either.
When I say ‘We’ I mean ‘Fosun’ of course.
26 Dec 2025 15:52:09
Roger Johnson - by a country mile.
