After his interim stint is over at United how about Carrick if RE has a dismal end to this season?

I don't think it matters who we appoint anymore. Fosun have obviously lost interest and will not invest in the quality players we need. Edwards will just bimble along until told otherwise. I could take losing week after week as long as I could see that the manager was setting up the team in a particular way and trying to get the players to play one system over a period of time. But Edwards is changing his tactics ad hoc and nothing he does seems to be working.

Last night, apart from a few touches here and there, Mateus Mane looked like a spent force.

We know we need better quality players but we also know that Fosun won't buy these players.

Edwards could indeed be the answer and is being hampered by the restraints forced upon him by his pay masters and unfortunately for him, he will be tarred by us fans for the poor management skills he is showing at Molineux, be that due to his inexperience or Fosuns neglect.

Either way, the board need to overhaul the entire working philosophy at the club if we are to ever progress. If we don't, I fear we'll imitate the Baggies and hurtle down towards lower league obscurity.

Agree with what you say with reference to Fosun GWIL and doubt they will they surprise us in the Summer? However, JE not only seems happy for them to sell off the team from under him but he also seems to lack the ability to make use of what he's got left.

Plenty of us slated JL when he walked out but it turns out he was right. It's pretty obvious after the Winter window that leopards don't change their spots and all the BS speeches won't change that.

Fosun have resigned themselves to putting Wolves into the Championship and JE sees this season as a free hit, just listen to his post match interviews. Nice bloke or not I still believe he will last no longer than his more recent predecessors as we will need better to stand any chance of a rapid return to the Premier League.

We'll be able to gauge what it's going to be like come Sunday. Away against Grimsby, are they L1 or 2? they'll be running their socks off, wanting every ball and getting in our faces. We won't be able to play around and if our passing is like last nights on a lower league pitch then they'll be swamping us.
Maybe then we can judge RE's choices and indeed the playing stock We'll need in the championship.
At the moment maybe there's an imbalance between RE and players, maybe apathy amongst them, but it's still RE who has to deal with it all.

If Fosun can't or won't see the problems then yes, as you say goodwhile, we may be hurtling downwards.
Fosun have to take footballing advice, invest accordingly, giving what is sensibly asked for and let the coach, whoever it maybe, prove themselves .
I won't be holding my breath, but just hope things can only get better.

A mess from top to bottom. When did we last have anyone come from the Academy? Even Mane came through the Rochdale academy. Under 21s provide nothing either. And they cost a lot of money to run. Perhaps that's where we need decent coaches as much as we need one for the first team.

We are a lost cause with no ambition, Fosun are fed up of their plaything and can't get anyone interested throwing good money after bad. Fill your boots Grimsby it's easy!
