Anyone see the game today. How did we play? I was only getting updates via BBC but the fact we only had 1 shot on target suggests we weren't really in the game.

Back down to earth today as i thought. a few injuries and we are stuffed.

Tough game today hes hoping for fer to start even with slight knock. we need him definitely againts a top 3 team. need defending on top too as they score a lot of goals.

A couple of weeks ago, somebody was complaining about our defense statistics. After today, and I realize we have 1 less game played, only 4 other teams have given up less goals and several are tied with us at 10. Offensively, only 4 other teams have scored more than us with 15.

And finally, our goal differential of +5 is 4th overall. Not too shabby considering the many new players in the squad, from our team in the spring, and still learning CP's system.

Wolves v Sandwell.
”Play the game not the occasion” and the result will follow. COYW.

Everyone will blame Tchatchoua but that was Sa's fault. What's he doing on the edge of his box? He's a keeper.

06 Sep 2026 18:18:23
That was not Sa's fault, it was a strong aerial backpass to his right. Tchat only needs to tap the ball back w his head, or just kick it away. He made the absolute worst decision he could possibly have made.

Sa is useless.

According to SkySport, Wolves are in serious talks with Newcastle about getting highly rated striker Sean Neves on loan.

First half thoughts: Shooting ourselves in the foot with conceded goals. Didn't close the player down for the first, (same issue as Stoke goal). As for the penalty, what on earth was Andre doing. The incident quickly followed, with him getting caught on the ball in our final third. Had hoped he had got out of that habit.
May be seen as sacrilege, but Raul is still way off the pace.

Why oh why does Tchatchoua not try shooting? Far more difficult to pull it back, as tried, as opposed to taking on the shot.
Shouldn't be behind at half time, as we have probably created more chances than them.
Hoping for a second half comeback, especially as we are winning most of the one to one duels across the pitch.

I watched the game today vs Stoke.

Djiga was the best player early doors for me.

Reboundo Gomes proved why he's in the starting line up. See how Fer Lopez moved out wide after R. Gomes had run their full back into the ground.

Cesar is my favourite Wolves manager of all time. I really think what he's doing is pure magic and we're gunna have an unbelievable squad going into the Prem next season I can already see it.
