We dominate possession and we're in control and then they score a really nice free kick, but apart from that they were content on parking the bus. I get that we didn't test them more, but at the end of the day we scored two goals and we were clearly the best team and deserve the win.
I will take winning a game, scoring multiple goals and looking comfortable over some of you posters on here that constantly moan and want to change your manager every five minutes because we're not playing Barcelona football. The main objective of the season is to get back into the premier and as long as we keep winning and getting the points then I don't care if the whole 90 minutes is not a beautiful football. Look at Arsenal last season., they played some of the most boring football that I've ever seen so onwards and upwards and let's just get behind the boys.
We are where we are because of the investment that has been pumped into the club and recruitment has not been up to par, but we should still get behind the team and be positive because being negative never helps anyone.
Let's stop making Armstrong the scapegoat as he works his sucks off and he gives his all for the badge and that's the type of play that we need right now and as long as he's pulling people out of position and other people are stepping up to the plate then I will look forward to the next game and hopefully we keep marching on I seem to remember only a few weeks ago people were moaning that we were eight points behind Westham, who were at the top and look at us now one point off top place.

VB_Wolf don't complain too much about the moaners. They are a sensitive bunch.

Frustrating for both sides, I know.

It's very telling that from all the critical posters writing the team off last night during the first half, there's only a couple who have posted since. Makes you wonder why, maybe the result didn't go as they had hoped, so now they can't call for the managers head etc.
It's very easy to post when things are bad but not so easy to congratulate the team and their fight.

Goatmark,it's not posters criticising the team or the managers who have been coming and going it is the running of the club from the hierarchy.
After eleven years of Fosun ownership we are in the same place we were when they bought the club as a team fighting to gain promotion to the promised land of the Premier League.
The only difference to now and then is the amount of debt ‘The Club'is saddled with and the question posters are asking is ‘where has the money gone ?'.

That's not what I read last night Wandering, I understand the frustration with the owners. But as I said during the first half people were criticising the players and expecting us to lose with half the game still to play.
Yes the owners need to do better but the team including manager are second and seem to be giving it their all so why not support them?
