In fairness to CP it wasn't him who missed the open goals and conceded three.
He does have a 50 per cent win rate at Wolves compared to the 37 per cent of Lopetegui and GON and 47.7 per cent for NES.

Sadly Wondering, it is a weak squad, even at this level. Also not sure the Coach is much better.
I expect a change around Christmas, but can't believe it will make a difference, because unlikely the squad will be strengthened.

My disillusioned take on last night's showings was that individually we've some players who are perfectly matched for the championship but that some egos are still in the prem set ups.
Others are showing nativity in their approach and the thread to hold it together is thin.
Maybe the team camsderie and belief, the desire, has taken a hit ? Maybe CP as underestimated the EFL styles of play ?
Last night for whatever reason we were playing it,(or trying to), around patiently, ignoring gaps and runs to go through the oppos defence, and of course, at other times to easily caught offside.
Were looking for fouls that the refs won't give at this level, trying to shimmy and hold when again players will pass you at this level.
We need the proven goal scorer, who'll bully,(no pun), his way in the opposition box no run around appearing here there and everywhere bar where he needs to be.
We need to utilise the wings, not clog them with the likes of mane being asked to perform against his natural style and blocking others unaware of where he should be.
Carrying the ball seems alien to our style, stand, look, pass sideways or back then launch hopefully.
Of course CP must take blame for certain decisions, but as someone else pointed out, he cannot be blamed for woeful finishing or lacklustre defending.
We're looking poor, our weak spots obvious, Bolton did their jobs well last night, and that sums it up really, they came with a plan, executed it, played without delusion and were delighted with their win.
Our players need to swallow their egos, get back to playing football at root level, put in a shift and be ambitious for the club and supporters that employ them.
As for CP ? Maybe he should re evaluate the needs and ways of competing in the English championship?

Disagree Rugeley. It's a very strong squad on paper for thus level. Unfortunately, football is played on grass not paper and we are tactically naive. Also paper doesn't always account for those well past their sell by date starting with Sa and, on last night's performance, Trippier who has quickly lost his dead ball expertise.

Why bring Neave on at 85 mins when its too late, the other subs on at 80 mins inc changing a lb for a lb? Baffling!

Your point OW2 is fair, the squad as I have said in other posts, has some good CVs in it. However, the squad is weak in terms of character. Not good enough even for this level in my view.
To repeat, if things don't improve, I can see a new manager in place by the next window and better players pushing for a move.
