I'm confused even thou a good win today CP has said he wants to keep Santi and Krejkci. But 2 matches now Krejkci nowhere and Santi sits arse on the bench. Are Wolves selling them so don't play and not get injured or does he prefer Toti? And if so the guy needs glasses.

Nothing against Djiga but surely Santi is better. Nobody on here can tell me Toti and Djiga are better than Santi and Krejkci.

Perhaps they are not fully match fit yet, Dmac.

Kreiji supposedly carrying injury, and Santi made it clear he'd prefer to move Dmac.

Both had a very solid game today, albeit against a poor opposition. Even Jackson Tchatchoua looked good, to be fair, so not sure today can be compared to a game against a decent side, and therefore whether Djiga, Toti and Jackson are indeed good enough.

I suspect Abbey is correct. Whilst they are likely superior players (certainly Krejci), I suppose it's tricky to select them if they are telling peeps at the club that they want out, whilst the others are working their socks off to play. Once the windows shut, they basically have to get their heads down and crack on. I wouldn't be surprised if the club have agreed to consider offers/let them go provided they behave, should no decent offers come in (that's clearly what's happened with Sa).
I don't rate Toti at all. However, it can't be ignored that three managers now have trusted him with the armband.

I suppose the point is that we don't get to be on the training ground or in the dressing room. Whatever we all think of him, the lad must be showing some genuine effort and leadership for three different managers to give him the armband.
Good performance today. Ironically, I thought Sa let himself down with the goal, but great to get the first win. As for Lopez, this kid's gonna light this league up. So pleased he's (finally) proving me right (about his potential). COYW. ?

The question should be whether Djiga and Jackson are good enough. We've all seen, over the last season and a bit, that unless Toti has a Craig Dawson-like experienced player alongside him, he isn't good enough.

I didn't see any of the game today, so I cannot really judge anyone's performance. I know Lopez and Trippier combined really well last week, but how did the Lopez/Jackson combo work today? Who played well, and who didn't?

Lopez was excellent today, Raul and Andre also had solid performances. I thought the defence actually looked surprisingly assured. There were very few mistakes, and they worked well together. I can barely remember one shot.

Mane was poor in the first half, but had an improved second half. Rodrigo was solid, as was Armstrong when he came on. Munetsi looked fairly anonymous throughout. Overall, a very good performance imo.

Traore came on and showed he still has something to offer. His first touch was forward thinking as soon as he won a ball, and his defensive side, winning a tackle to turn over possession, was the start of our 3rd goal.

It may be hasty to let him go just yet. Not sure on how it plays with squad numbers, but definitely worth keeping if possible.
