End of a woeful season. Goodbye premiership. My reflection: how did Wolves win three league games, draw against Arsenal yet collect just two points against the three promoted teams. Race form would read: Wolves started slow, never recovered, always toiling in the bottom three, finished last.
It will be an interesting close season at Molineux.

Well, a very poor season. In truth, I felt it was over before it started.
Shi, yet again, hesitated on signings, then left it too late to authorise, and players lost. Then the joke of signing players at the end of the window, Periera had never wanted!
So, a dysfunctional squad from Day 1. No wonder he walked.
The re-build has to begin from here.

What a tale of woe these last few years have been, frankly, one of arrogance, ignorance, but above all a total lack of judgement. Fosun edict over transfer policy - fail, Jeff Shi's implementation of that policy - fail.
The belief that you can run a football club at this level like any other business - fail (even the HMRC recognise they are different).
The belief that you can continuously sell off your best players to raise the money to keep the doors open - mega fail.
The expectation that managers/coaches can be successful within that framework - fail.
My question is: where did that lack of judgement emanate from? Did Fosun say 'you must do this,' and everyone, with the exception of Lopetegui, followed it slavishly while knowing it would eventually fail? Or was it someone cost-cutting to score browny points from HQ?

For me, our season is summed up as follows:
"We started out with nothing and we've still got most of it." ? ? ?

That team that got relegated to Div 4 had more about them than this lot. As for Edwards, well, it's absolutely baffling me as to what he's trying to do. I don't see any balance or style of play. He's not better than Saunders.
