I'm sorry. I will keep on saying it: Rob Edwards is not a manager, and he will do no good in the Championship where we've come from. It's a shame for every Wolves fan. Wolves ay we.

I just can't see why RE is still here, having said that I don't think any decent manager would want to come and work under Fosun.

We could have the late, great Brian Clough, Sir Alex, or Pep in the dugout, and we'd still be in trouble. The players are rubbish, and no amount of coaching will change that fact. As the saying goes 'you can't polish a turd'.

As above, the signings made in recent windows are just not good enough.

But I think you highlight something there, Goodwhile. Cloughie and Sir Alex knew how to manage the players, did not stand egos, and got the best out of below-par performers.
This lot would be performing better if they had some discipline and respect for the club knocked into them.
Said it before, RE seems too nice, too laid back and a bit happy to be Wolves manager as opposed to being the Wolves custodian and actually being the face of Wolverhampton at this moment in time.
Things seem too happy go lucky at times, and that's not what you'd have had with a Clough or Ferguson.

Two views clash a little bit here. On one hand, we have lots of criticism about the players not being good enough, so we shouldn't be too harsh on RE if we accept that he inherited a sub-standard squad.
On the other hand, RE is out of his depth and isn't managing the squad effectively. Can it be both?
My personal view is that RE has brought the worst out of the players, who seem confused and disoriented.
With someone in charge who has good man-management skills and some idea regarding tactics, this squad does have quality. Just watch what they achieve when they move on to a better-run club.

Good points, Derry.
