In the position were in no jota no Jimenez silva a season too soon and cutrone apparently out of favour surely we should have had a striker playing in the English game ie premier or EFL already lined up at the start of the window this also applies to other positions if we had it could have saved us a lot of grief but there again hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Pt- it's never that simple fella, especially in Jan window and that's without considering a global C.V.! Clubs are being (understandibly) cautious over who they let go, Socieadad may not have even been certain they were moving him on a week ago?!

In reply to an earlier post l wouldn’t be surprised if Nuno wants to go I had read in the past he needs new challenges l can understand that I’d be surprised if he didn’t see the season out why would he go now and look like a quitter leaving us entrenched in the bottom half of the table it wouldn’t do much for his credibility if he goes he goes my main concern is that the club structure would be shaken with his staff probably going with him in football there’s no loyalty if it did happen we would still be premier league owned by a super wealthy company before people think nuno has just signed a contract they are usually worthless in today’s game.

Albion have been the whipping boys for clubs this season and I say with all sincerity that the match against Villa was our easiest 3 points of the season, this should show your fans exactly where Wolves are this season. Suddenly Nuno doesn't look such a great manager does he, the players he bought in are shocking compared to those he let go and that is only down to him.

Your record signing is average at best and looks lost in the premier league and Adama needs to get of the steds and concentrate on his football, he's too busy trying to look good and he is becoming a flop. Next season could be a tough one for Wolves and I don't see any investment coming from China given the political situation which is about to get a whole lot worse.

Mind the gap and enjoy next season which could be your last premier season for a few years judging on the back of this lack lustre performance, up the baggies. hahaha.

4 and 4 Avillafan
4 points ahead

4 games in hand

Thank you very much for taking the rip mighty fine of you but I can take the rip out of myself Thankyou very much.

3.) 16 Jan 2021 17:59:37
Seriously Avillafan you lot are very lucky to still be in the prem only by failed hawkeye are you there or a brown envelope passed to the officials.
Keep mocking us because FFP is about to bite you hard.

4.) 16 Jan 2021 19:36:58
Bigger question Villafan is why do you even care about any of this?! Jez what a small minded little club Villa are these days! You seriously giving us a review on Nuno after Smiths defensive record last year, too funny?! We'll be fine thanks fella and we won't even need a computing error just to scrape our place in the league. Now jog on back to Small-town cause I suspect they are missing the village idiot! 🤣.

5.) 17 Jan 2021 17:09:07
The easiest 3 pts of the season? Wtf. it took a last minute penalty and a MOM performance from your GK together anything out of the game we smashed you for 93mins you had no possession and no shots on target. the only reason you are where you are is due to Jack and your GK the rest of your team are championship mediocre players at best. can't wait for Jack to be sold and seeing you lot fight each other in the stands again lol. But don't forget they won the European cup in the 80s and still sing about it today. how embarrassing.

Adama wanting away comes as no surprise if it’s true since wolves have returned to the premier league with some success the media have done their best to unsettle certain players Jimenez included for some reason it seems any outstanding players clubs possess should then graduate to Liverpool Man Utd etc traore seems to feel wolves have been a stepping stone prior to the media interest I’m sure he was grateful to wolves for giving him the chance and grateful to Nino for keeping faith with him.

I agree, the media always hit clubs outside of the "big six" with their good players could go to a "big" club.
Its poor reporting looking for cheap headlines.

As far as Traore goes, I am in the i'd like to sell him boat.
I do not rate his reliability for making the right choice on the pitch, if it be pass, cross dribble.
I do not think he has the footballing brain required, if it was a dribbling competition, hands down :) .

Im not about to slate his effort or commitment, I do not believe any footballer actually doesn't try to do their best, just some don't achieve it.
For me Traore unbalances the squad and sorry to say i would like to see a decent return for his sale.

2.) 07 Jan 2021 10:16:15
Adama does not do enough in games to warrant his place. a couple of dribbles with hardly any end result can not be acceptable, We need to cash in and bring in players who bring more to the Team, He is constantly being told what to do in games by Nuno and Coady because he does not have a football brain to work it out for himself. If as fans we are demanding more from our young players then Adama needs to bring a lot more to his game than he has in the last 12 months.

3.) 07 Jan 2021 14:01:09
Agree fully with you, Baza. Let's take the last game as an example. He won our penalty and set up that last second can't miss (but he did) opportunity. Creating just the two almost certain goals just isn't good enough even though that's two more than anyone else did with the other goal being an unfortunate own goal. Some things are never appreciated until they're gone. The sale of Alan Sunderland still irks.

4.) 07 Jan 2021 17:03:38
I agree Old Wulf. The only thing that is making Traore not stand out as before is someone to finish. Jimenez would always be in tune with him and give him a good option to aim at. Also Dendonker would provide this to some extent, but has been injured since Traore has been starting. I for one would be very disappointed if he was sold. It amuses me how people forget so quickly what a player has done for us.

5.) 07 Jan 2021 19:50:44
Only one thing I’d say for Traora is his stats don’t tell the whole story, he’s been left out a lot and harshly at times, he’s not had any target for his crosses or hard work and clearly been told to go backwards as a tactic. Also he’s sometimes simply on the pitch for a tactic, for sample of an opponent had a corner most teams they’d throw all their defenders leaving a solitary midfielder but leave Traora at halfway teams have to keep 2-3 players back. This type of work of his I feel does go unnoticed a lot of the time. Is he happy? Doesn’t look like it, but nobody should be in that side right now as we’re not winning and not performing good enough. Without a doubt give Traora a target man and freedom to go down the middle at times, he’s a different animal. With Raul out i'd keep him this season.

6.) 07 Jan 2021 19:52:18
At least keep him till the end of the season.
Selling him now would make no sense IMO.
Having said that, an unhappy player can have a negative affect.
Glad I am not the one to make the decision!

I could only see the highlights fortunately ok we had players out important players but surely professionals can defend better than that it was unbelievable we made linguard look like messi nuno has been great at wolves his record speaks for itself but surely something has to change.

Does anyone know if the corner stand at the molinuex is ever going to be roofed and are they going to duplicate it on the other side if so will it be done in the close season just wondering 👍🏻.

1.) 18 Mar 2021 14:26:34
Don't think it is going to be covered as the plan is to expand the stadium. The club announced last season that the opposite stand would also have a temporary stand added but I thought it was delayed during the current climate.

2.) 19 Mar 2021 11:57:12
To anyone on here still talking about incoming players, expansion of the ground etc. Suggest you focus on other matters. The club has announce a 40m loss. I will stick to my guns and unfortunately I still think we will go down this season. If we survive I fear for next season. There will be no significant investment. Obviously the C.V. has had a major impact, but other factors haven't helped.

3.) 19 Mar 2021 12:18:52
I expect a lot of clubs will announce losses which will have an overall impact on the transfer market. Should the club push ahead with redevelopment of the ground, which I believe is happening behind the scenes the investment doesn't go towards FFP so there is room for Fosun to spend if they feel it's required. Fosun have invested a lot and helped to give us all us some great memories so far. The club have come a long way is the last 4 years.

Wolves will not get relegated this season unless we manage to lose every single remaining match. Only Fulham can realistically catch Wolves, but I have my doubts Fulham will make it to 35 points. It's between Fulham, Brighton and Newcastle for the remaining relegation spot with Albion and Sheffield United almost certainly in the other two places.

4.) 19 Mar 2021 13:00:57
Sq. If we go down this season I will show my arse in woollies window in Crewe, I know we are desperately missing a striker, but we've managed so far, and I think next season things will be better, so let's sit back enjoy whatever team Nuno puts out, shout the lads on, and welcome next season. 👍👍.

5.) 19 Mar 2021 13:08:33
I tend to agree Alex and its unlikely Fulham will catch us. But I can't get rid of the memories of Sandwell doing us for promo after we went on a dreadful run. A lot of people want Newcastle down and that includes me. They do think they have a divine right to be in prem cus of big ground and fan base. doesn't work like that though does it. av a good weekend folks.

6.) 19 Mar 2021 13:34:59
SQ, using your logic, namely money, we'll be OK as Man Utd have announced that although they've made a £70m operating profit, their debt has risen to £445m. Everton have announced £140m losses and Liverpool something similar.

{Ed077's Note - Man Utd's debt is something you and me should not pay much attention to. And they've announced a new lucrative shirt sponsor deal with TeamViewer.}

7.) 19 Mar 2021 14:30:02
I know Ed. Just an example of using a single fact to prove a point.

{Ed077's Note - Fair enough}

08 Mar 2021 10:50:59
It’s sad the way we’ve taken a 4 1 beating by Man City and said it’s understandable to lose in such a way to arguably the best team in the world yet the following week they’re turned over by Man Utd who would admit to hardly being worldbeaters it was a good point at villa there’s improvements but it’s obvious the squad has to change when this wretched season is over just an opinion!

Agree pt will be glad when this season is over but on the other hand will carry on doing my best to enjoy the rest of this season the most I can.

The lead up to the match has been better than the actual game of late lol
New signings in the summer hopefully,
A pre season
Fully fit squad.
Next season will be better.

The euros this summer if it goes ahead I think if Neto plays for Portugal his market value will go through the roof. that's if he performs well which I think he will.

Fwaw.

2.) 08 Mar 2021 20:05:51
PT, crackers season for just about every team, crazy results all over the place.
I stomached the 4 - 1 on actually it was 2 -1 but for daft subs having a run out.
City are a class apart at the moment and that MU result after cities run, well put in perspective Fulham beat Liverpool. mad season.
I do think that all though we have had a mediocre season, it has not been a total wash out, lessons will have been learnt by Nuno and the squad, we did need to change the way play and all this hopefully adding knowledge to a better season next term.

3.) 08 Mar 2021 21:28:51
Way of the world that survivors get to pick over the remnants of the relegated sides. Player loyalty goes out the window, especially if they are facing pay cuts in the Championship. Can’t see many we would be interested in if the present bottom two are relegated. Same goes if Newcastle suffer that fate. However there are Fulham players who should interest us. If it was Brighton that got relegated then, a little tongue in cheek, I would take their entire team and replace their front three with Neto, Jimenez and Podence. Maupassant, Connolly and McAllister, would be bad additions to the bench.

4.) 09 Mar 2021 09:54:15
You joking Wolfthiste? I think Saint-Maximin, Wilson, Clarke and even Shelvey (I know-booo) would be welcome additions to our team; few others could squeak in as well, i. m. o.

5.) 09 Mar 2021 10:03:07
Maybe the Wolves game took it out of the City players and they had nothing left for the Utd game and for the same reason we struggled first half against Villa.
We do need more players though. Nuno likes to sign utility players and keep the squad small but now we need to sign
specialist centre halves and centre forward.

08 Mar 2021 10:40:39
Have you too been taken in by sources online indicating wolves have a keen interest in a player you eagerly read on to unveil this revelation only to find out the said player is being courted by 50 other clubs I just thought I’d mention it 👎.

Jose took Doherty that’s how to do it that significantly weakened his closest rival at that time I thought at the time that was a wise move from the Spurs man I’ve been proved right even though he hasn’t had the same impact for spurs.

I’ve mentioned in an earlier post I think nuno will resign at the end of the season he has said in the past he gets restless after 2 or 3 years because of his situation I can see a change of coach if this does happen nuno will still be an hero at wolves.
