Are Fosun here to make money for Wolves or are Wolves here to make money for Fosun?

The same isn't it. You make money for Wolves you make money for Fosun?

Odd question E?.
Surely the answer is obvious, Fosun are not a charity and therefore Wolves will be expected to generate a return for them on the investment they have made.
Fortunately for us though the only way Wolves make a return, (indeed don't lose all of the money that Fosun have already invested), for Fosun is by them being successful
Clearly over the period of the Fosun ownership Wolves have lost millions through the P and L but at the moment it has probably made at least as much if not more in capital appreciation.
All of that capital appreciation disappears overnight however if Wolves are relegated and it is highly likely that underlying losses may also increase as revenue plummets far faster than costs can be brought down.
The disastrous period post Seville, which has caused both the financial and on field performance to stall, has almost washed through.
Next year Silva will leave and Guedes will probably be amortised to a level he can be sold at without a loss. Consequently we should be able to stabilise the finances and continue to build in a sustainable way the on field performance.
It merely requires us to not do anything stupid and short termist this summer and going forwards we can re-emerge from the debacle we have endured due to foolish decisions made post Seville when perhaps Fosun didn't fully understand how the game works. Their actions over the last couple of years indicate that maybe they now do?

I don't know E. But whatever anyone's thoughts on Fosun and their motive, they have got us promoted, kept us in the Premier League and grown our value from £30m to over £400m. I don't know what their end game is though and I wish Shi would enlighten us fans once in a while

I thought shi recently sent a letter to fans about fosun’s intentions. Feels like some people want a letter every week to reiterate that they are trying to build a sustainable club. Seems to be working to me, sell one player and buy 4 so far. I don’t understand the fuss being made tbh and not really sure any club has owners who don’t expect some return.

Frankly if you want anyone to speak on behalf of the club Matt Hobbs would make a better job as he's a much better communicator. At least with Hobbs you get the stuff that we the fans want to know, about the direction they are trying to take the club in. I've not bothered saying anything for quite a while due to my health and not really having to much to say. But I would add that also over the last couple of months there has been a considerable amount of rubbish posted, obviously just my opinion!
It's good to see the direction they are talking, Kilman going was a sensible move. Good feeling, apparently he wanted the move so good for everyone. At least we have got a few signings over the line early and plenty of time to get more particularly in defence. Keeping Neto is vital to our season, if we can keep him for another year, hopefully injury free that would be massive for the club and he would still be worth 60m at the end of it!
Here's to the rest of a good transfer window and you never know we might get Silva out the door and off the books before the end of August!

I understand that being in the Premier League year on year isn't quite enough for some fans, who expect us to have progressed following our first two illustrious seasons and be pushing for the Champions League by now. But the fact is, it's a MASSIVE achievement (ask the other 72) - and we have it. Plus, with the exception of the season before last, we have never really suffered significant relegation fears.

We were very fortunate after our initial promotion, for a short time we ran before we could walk, and it was wonderful! Since though we, and our owners, have had to knuckle down to the reality and set roots for the long stint. It's a learning process and there have been, and will be more mistakes. For me, it's hard to question Fosun's motives when they are providing a consistent PL berth. Of course we want success, but so does everyone else. It will take time. Even if we never break into the big 6 or 7 but our owners manage to create a sustainable team, ever present and competitive in the PL, with just that chance of a wonder season here and there, then I'd take it all day long.

Notwithstanding that some feel Fosun are evil I think they are cute. They have made mistakes in the past but love the model they are now working to. You learn from your mistakes. Important that we retain the Hobbs / O’Neil model. Am loving it .

Not evil but if you search for Fosun/Corrupt there are plenty of stories.

Fosun have put in much more money than they've got out of it.

I suspect, E, that the you might find the same applies to many multinational corporations!
