Yerson out for season according to Molinuex Mix so take with a very large pinch of salt.

Sad news for Yerson, and I hope he does recover soon.

But, surely, this gets the Wolves making some decisions rather than waiting for the next eclipse.

72 hours wasted since Friday.

Required:

Three CBs.
Two CMs.
Three wide forwards.

He certainly is injury prone if true.

No news on James then, another one that passed us by.

Regardless of rumours, Yerson's injury won't be a quick recovery. I do rate Djiga, and I can see a player in there. If Yerson is out for the season, my heart will break for the guy.

His injuries have been so serious. It will hopefully serve as a wake up call for Wolves - players, staff and fans - that this is going to be a very tough season.

If it is true, then questions have to be very seriously asked! It seemed ridiculous keeping him on whilst he could barely jog or pass the ball; it would have made far more sense just to take the hit and play with a player down.

For me, it was already a very foolish decision, but if it turns out that it was a decision made with the possibility of a serious injury involved, then, to be blunt, someone needs to be fired or even possibly hired, because clearly, if true, our medical team does not know its arse from its elbow! ?

Could become a cult hero putting his body on the line like that if we stay up by a point / make the playoffs by a point.

It shouldn't have been his choice, GDawg, when you have a player that has had two season ending injuries already at such a young age, then our medical team should have the common sense to say it's not worth the risk. There are 45 games to go, and I really will be beyond angry if he is out for anything more than weeks!

I'm sure some people said he was rolling around for no reason. Maybe a case of the boy who cried wolf, as he does seem to go down a fair bit. Hope it's a fast recovery, as I rate him, even though he's a bit of a hot head.

Totally agree with you, BullysBoy. We seem to sign players that get very injured very soon after signing them, so I often wonder how good our medical assessment team is!!

In terms of medical team, I think you get what you pay for.
Under Nuno's backroom staff, Bruno's and JLOs, our injury record was consistent with the top half of the Prem.
Since recruiting any old manager or picking a Wolves manager like a game of bingo, the injuries have mounted up.

Mosquera, Toti, Traore, Doyle, R Gomes are too inconsistent to rely on due to injuries for a full season.
I'd add Hwang, Hoever and Krejci to the list as well. They were injured most of last season.
