I don't think we will sell half of the player quoted as being available because no one wants them. Simply put, they would of gone by now. Season starts in a few weeks, don't it. I think we will have similar squad with maybe 2 in.

A really good point with just 1 issue. We've already signed 3 players. Other than that, you're bang on.

Not sure they would have gone if those clubs interested knew we were in a position of distressed sales. Look at Gomes, Athletico were reported to be signing him for £40m and £5m add ons. Villa have waited it out, and are now getting him for the bargain basement price of £35m and £3m add ons.
Time is on the buying clubs' side, and not ours. With Krecji having been at the WC, I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds start low balling us some time soon. The problem is that, as we've just seen with Gomes, we are so desperate that it clearly works. ?

We may be desperate, BBII, but even our saleable assets have deficiencies, which is why clubs aren't falling over themselves to acquire them. This means no bidding war to hike up the price, and is why Krejci may go for a song, because, despite his qualities, he is slow and his distribution is sometimes lacking.
