I've got a feeling that Jhon Arias is going to be one of the standout stars of the upcoming World Cup.
I don't think he was given a fair crack of the whip whilst at Molineux.

I think VP and Edwards stifled his impact by playing such negative, defensive football. He was so good during the World Club World Cup and his performances had got up a gear since returning to Brazil.
I would have preferred him to Angel Gomes.

I always thought he was a good player, but most of his work went unnoticed. He got a similar fan reaction as Armstrong is getting now. Shame he wanted out, not much can be done about that.

The Club World Cup was just a friendly summer competition, as shown by the fact that Chelsea won it! Having said that, some players will exceed themselves over the next few weeks and get big moves that turn out to be flops. It's happened many times before.

Jhon Arias was absolute gash for Wolves. The only decent game I can remember him having was against Shrewsbury!
