Regardless of whether Nuno will or won’t re-join us, looking at fans’ comments, would a fair estimate be around 90% think Rob is not good enough to get us back in the PL. Think it is a fair reflection.
Does anyone know if there is anything coming out that they are considering Rob’s position and at least discussing things?
Doubt it, I realise.

Just want things to improve. Don’t want another season watching the same rubbish.

Regarding Rob Edwards, if it was me, I’ll let him go. He hasn’t done any good. He would be better suited in League 1, or maybe second in command, but I think if we stick with him, we will be lucky to be a mid-table Championship club.

So Fosun need to get something done asap, because I don’t think I could put up with boring football, and I don’t think you lot will.

It's fair to say that Rob is Scott Parker mark 2. Both did very well in the Championship, but failed more than once in the PL. Do we want just a promotion specialist for next season, or do we want a longer term appointment?

I know it's a contentious call, but I would re-hire Nuno if that was possible.

He took over a poor West Ham and fought to the last day, whereas Wolves and Burnley were doomed by Christmas. Unlike Edwards and Parker, Nuno can hack it in both the Championship and the PL, and took us and Forest into Europe.

25 points from 19 matches at West Ham would be comfortable over the course of 38 games.

If I owned the club, I wouldn't have appointed Edwards in the first place. However, I would be asking him some serious questions now. How does he want to set us up in the Championship? Was this season a case of 'what's there' being so bad it was negative for damage limitation every week? How does he want us to play next season? What types of players does he want? Depending on those answers, I would decide if I pulled the trigger or not.

The strange thing is, when Edwards was hired there weren't many managers looking to come to a team likely to get relegated, but having gone into the Championship there will be more managers interested, purely because right now it avoids the likely relegation on the CV. They still have to work with what the owners decide, but there is likely more interest now than last October.
