Garbage. RE is totally out his depth and not the man to move us on. Poor line up, poor subs. We are like a pub team. This is also a aweful West Ham team. Sick of it now.

I was just looking at the stats for Edwards, to see if we are being fair, and they are frankly damning. Currently averaging 0.71 ppm (and that might be generous as I am not sure when it updates). For a bit of context, that means had he been here all season we would be on 22 points and still pretty much down.
More than this, we all agree that Vitor Perriera was rubbish, right? Well, he had an average 1.24 ppm, so double what Edwards had achieved. Like all Wolves fans, I desperately wanted RE to be the right choice, but surely by now we must all agree that he's just not up to the task?

Saw tonight's game, I am sick of Edwards gurning at the camera and motioning with his hands back or forward. We can all talk a good game, but the bloke would have trouble sending a corpse to sleep. Boring, clueless, uninspiring. Need I go on? We are not treading water. We will go down, and stay down under Edwards. Mark my words, Fosun.

He's definitely out of his depth. Never thought I'd see us in this position after what we were just a few years ago. I know that's not Edwards' fault, but this team performance is his fault. Not good enough.

This is now a predicament.
The facts are VP was awful, but Rob Edwards' stats are worse.
Edwards has clearly been told to prepare for the Championship, but surely at the time of his appointment, there were enough games and points available to try and stay up.
The squad will be very different to what we have currently, but the style of play is too turgid.
How long do the club give Edwards? Well, the plan was for him to prepare for life in the Championship and to mount a promotion challenge.
If he isn't near the top of the table after 10 games next season, I'd like to think the hierarchy let him go. But who comes in to replace him? My choice (as we're in the 2nd tier) would be John Mousinho. He likes to play attacking football, and he'd have a bigger budget and better players than he currently does at Portsmouth.

I get your point, Good, and you may well be right regarding the ten games, but to be honest, I kind of hope not! Because ten games (even in the Champ) is a lot, add to this we will also then have a team/transfer window completely overseen by Edwards to suit his style of play.
I say style of play, but for the life of me, I have no idea what that actually is for Edwards, to be honest. Look at how tight it is in the Champ this season. I'm just not convinced it's a standard of league where any team gets to just write off 10 matches as an experiment.

Personally, I wasn't impressed when Rob Edwards was appointed, and I said as much. I felt he was another Jeff Shi special, so none of this surprises me in the slightest.
Yes, we have some poor performers, but the manager/coach plays a significant part in shaping the team and its game management.
As some have said, his stats are truly appalling, but commensurate with his managerial status, imo.
What is concerning is how long Fosun/N Shi will allow this to continue, as it sounds like he's under no pressure, and our owners don't seem to care what division we're in.
