Raskin from Rangers, deal in place. 1of3 for midfielders
1.) 30 Aug 2025 03:28:14
more kenzie lies . they won’t like you for it
2.) 30 Aug 2025 07:21:59
Guessing he's a backup incase we can't get our other midfield targets?
3.) 30 Aug 2025 12:51:10
Kenzie, just stop lying mate. It’s weird behaviour.
20 Aug 2025 18:27:26
Guys I have the utmost faith in VP but he won't save us on a shoestring. We have downgraded both Wing Backs and bought 2 for 10-15 mil who are not proven. Fer Larson another one who couldn't get regular minutes at his previous club, unproven. What is going on at OUR beloved club. Arias looks quality, but that's about it. So disheartened at the minute, no doubt we will panic buy on Transfer day and bring 3 in at the same prices.
1.) 20 Aug 2025 20:16:30
I think many share your concerns Kenzie but can VP pull it out of the fire for a second time but with arguably a less talented and Premier League experienced squad?
I'm just as confused by what Fosun are doing as I am by those that seem to approve of it. Time will tell as he hopefully and progressively get's a tune out of them, if not, game over.
2.) 21 Aug 2025 00:31:15
Until recently I was convinced we would do enough in the window to get the quality we need combined with what we have to compete this season.
Seeing us against Citeh has changed this. With a couple of signings we will have the quality to compete, but the squad is missing leaders and experience of this league.
Matt Doherty has loads of experience, but isn't in the same mould of say, Coady or Dawson. There needs to be a calming influence on and off the pitch to keep heads up when things go wrong.
Unless the next few in have experience of this league I worry that we have a squad that is too good to go down but does. If the stories of who we are looking at are true then I'd be surprised if we're not the squad with the fewest appearances in the league and have one of the least experienced captains. We need players that can represent the coach on the pitch, encourage, berate and change things on the fly as well as explaining the coaches philosophy in thedressing room.
I hope VP works his magic and he proves me wrong as I now think we're in for a long fretful season

Davitashvilli Was a done deal. Price and personal terms were agreed but they pulled the plug and wanted another 5 mil with add ons. It may still happen. Player wants to come
1.) 04 Aug 2025 14:17:49
*Sigh*
2.) 04 Aug 2025 14:48:31
Give it up.
3.) 04 Aug 2025 14:58:55
he’s not lying, he’s being truthful
4.) 04 Aug 2025 15:16:02
vitor has taste
5.) 04 Aug 2025 16:17:51
Can anyone else that potentially has contacts confirm or deny our interest in Davitashvilli? Heard nothing about this other than on this site, albeit from multiple people claiming it's true, but all seems to be lies
31 Jul 2025 10:20:44
Davitashvilli Is done you heard it here first. Patience Wolves fans
1.) 31 Jul 2025 10:45:50
You said the same yesterday, you seem sure, nothing about this anywhere else though ?
2.) 31 Jul 2025 10:50:07
where has this one come from?
3.) 31 Jul 2025 11:08:34
Utter bollocks ?
4.) 31 Jul 2025 11:11:26
Basically what you’re saying is that the Amine Adli story we keep reading is false then, considering he plays in the same position? They wouldn’t buy two more wingers with a striker and midfielder of more importance to them
5.) 31 Jul 2025 11:15:42
if you decode his name it reads ‘aston villa’ .
6.) 31 Jul 2025 11:19:32

7.) 31 Jul 2025 18:07:04
A quick google search reckons he’s off to Bologna.
8.) 31 Jul 2025 18:11:13
You're full off it, there has been interest but no offer has been made yet.
9.) 31 Jul 2025 20:22:56
Any news on Davitashvilli, Kenzie191? We need to know if he found accommodation and eating the orange chips . Please put our minds at ease and give us an update .
10.) 31 Jul 2025 22:19:51
It's very likely he's talking absolute rubbish just because he's bored. Would love to eat my words since this would be a great signing but it's so unlikely
30 Jul 2025 10:46:09
Zurat Davitashvilli Deal done
1.) 30 Jul 2025 11:21:22
Great signing if true, looks a good player. You heard anything else regarding transfer dealings or just this?
2.) 30 Jul 2025 11:57:38
Hope so Kenzie, but how am I supposed to find a rhyme for that. ?
3.) 30 Jul 2025 13:51:38
Kenzie, where are you getting this information?
4.) 30 Jul 2025 16:19:04
Kenzie are you really VP, hope your information is correct ??. Anything in Javi Guerra rumours and anyone else? Thanks
5.) 30 Jul 2025 17:41:43
Is this confirmed? Can't find anything on it.
6.) 30 Jul 2025 17:57:55
It is not confirmed. Lies from Kenzie
7.) 30 Jul 2025 19:18:41
Seems that false information is the way of the world these days.
8.) 30 Jul 2025 19:59:17
Might be fun listening to the South bank trying to sing his name!
9.) 30 Jul 2025 20:05:37
he is known as ‘zuka’ which isn’t difficult to sing
10.) 30 Jul 2025 21:10:19
A bit like Suker then, if we get anyone near as good as he was that would be a great signing.
11.) 31 Jul 2025 06:54:36
seems unlikely as he plays where Arias and Lopez play, but I'd have bought instead of Arias

Hoping tonight will help with confidence but I'm not convinced with tonight's performance against a weakened Everton. Why do we not have that up and at them mentality, especially at home. Still not creating anything and I don't see any identity. Krejki looks Quality but then again so did agadoo last year. Think we need to persist with hairy ass, think he will come good, played at top level already. Andre superb tonight.
1.) 24 Sep 2025 08:23:05
Some people are never satisfied. Would you prefer a 6th straight defeat. We have to start somewhere, and a 2 nil result against an Everton side who were almost like for like With the side who thrashed us only a few weeks ago in the second half, is progress in my book
2.) 24 Sep 2025 08:25:27
Very happy we won and VP changed things at least in defence. Did Hwang and Bellegarde play any better? Unfortunately couldn’t watch the game, might have to miss more if we start winning??.
3.) 24 Sep 2025 10:01:45
Bellegarde did, Hwang didn't.
22 Sep 2025 00:03:14
Maybe wrong but didn't Bruno Lage play 4-4-2. Best football I've seen in years tbh, but he bottled it after 3 losses and went to a back 5.
25 Aug 2025 23:08:29
Best attacking football I've seen at Wolves for a long time was under Bruno Lage. First 3 games of that season I think we lost all 3 1-0 yet had 24-30 shots each game, anybody remember that? He panicked and changed formations and the rest is history, should have stuck to his guns
1.) 26 Aug 2025 07:22:22
I remember yes. Lost to a dubious goal at Manchester U first game. Thought we looked good as well
2.) 26 Aug 2025 08:05:18
Kenzie191
Yes you're spot on remember it well, I thought exactly the same.
25 Aug 2025 23:04:30
I have to admit I love VP and I love the way he has embraced the city. However his team selection confuses me. Arias, Gomes and Andre he needs to be building his team around. Arias does not need time to adapt, he has just proven himself in the CWC, played in bigger stadiums. I always thought VP was an attacking manager. 0 goals so far and only 2 attempts on target doesn't bode well.
17 Aug 2025 23:17:52
We are deluded. That was nowhere near a great Man City side. VP tactically got it wrong from the off. No more excuses happy clappers. That was awful
1.) 18 Aug 2025 09:13:23
Have to agree Kenzie, half of our team are out of their depth. Panicking now to bring in New faces, in fact it seems like they will sign whoever's available. But it's pointless just signing anybody, we need players who will suit how Vp wants to play and are ready to do it in the Premier. Against City two of our signings were on the bench and the other played but looked like little boy lost.
2.) 18 Aug 2025 11:07:49
My opinion, looking at the basics, toti and agbadu need an organiser in the Cody mode, talking non stop, they take too long on the ball and the passing sometimes awful.
Doc just hasn't the legs anymore I'm afraid and Hoever in front of him didn't help.
Andre and Gomez complete their roles as always, but if others around them aren't quicker into position or in reading the game they're under pressure.
Wolfe, his first game at prem level, maybe found it abit fast and within the team abit unsure.
Munetsi I've always wondered what his 'job' was, Sat he was appearing everywhere and maybe it was that enthusiasm that cost him the offside?
Larsen needs the ball, he needs in a place where he can use it and quicker.
The difference Arias lopez and gomez gave us when they came on was significant of what we'd needed earlier.
We desperately need that decent RB he maybe coming soon in Tchatcha (?), but it's that 'leader' on the field that we need more than anything, the coady character I was thinking of, the neves spirit, the Ince discipline, sadly as it stands we are without it.
Whoever comes in will have to adapt quickly, and the existing team find some unity because they did look lonely individuals at times.
3.) 18 Aug 2025 11:54:56
Abbeywolf, I can't argue with any of that. I really think we're misusing Munetsi, for me he's a box to box mid, high energy presser.
Just yesterday I was thinking how we needed a couple of Ince/Irwin type signings.
4.) 18 Aug 2025 12:26:07
Yeah I have to agree with much of this, the write up on Sky summed it up perfectly. Losing by four to Man City isn't the problem, but Man City scoring four without EVER needing get out of second gear is a problem!
We spent all summer with posters saying 'it's fine, friendlies don't mean anything we'll step it up when it's the Prem' then today they are saying 'yeah but it didn't count cause it's Man City' just absolute nonsense I'm afraid! I don't care who ya playing if your at home in the Prem you HAVE to be able to compete and this wkend we didn't do that!
Next game is going to be interesting/vital because Bournemouth have been seriously reduced this window (just like us). Not saying we should win (they are good at home) but I am saying we can't get thumped and need to give them an actual game, else surely even the happy clappers MUST start to see we could be in trouble this season?!
Did anyone else also notice the change in VPs stance?! Two weeks ago he basically said 'we need more signings, maybe one, two or three more' after this wkends game he said 'we need three or four more' the man's not a fool, he knows we are lacking! Have we learnt from last season? Well let's see, 14 days of the window left and a LOT of work to do! Pretty crucial we do becuase I have a feeling even we have now run out of 'get out of jail free cards' we MUST recruit and before Jan this time esle I fear the worst. Sunderland/Leeds players must have watched MOTD this week and suddenly felt a lot better, cause us, Brentford and WHU looked like Champ level clubs! ?
5.) 18 Aug 2025 15:57:28
We'll have the old 'New Manager Bounce' soon as will West Ham and Brentford, who'll bounce furthest nobody knows. Big Sam's always fancied managing Wolves.
6.) 18 Aug 2025 18:09:53
I sadly have to agree that it is no shame getting thumped by City - although of course under Nuno Wolves would have been competitive and indeed may even have won.
What is far more worrying is both the performance and the root of some of the problems.
Vitor a week ago was saying 1, 2 or 3 new faces. Now he is saying 3, 4, or 5 - presumably plus the new RWB and it is not hard to see why.
As per my original post on this matter well over a month ago I actually think Wolves still need 7 new players - plus the new RWB.
But sadly even if 5, 6 or 7 come in it is surely unreasonable to expect them to hit the ground running and thus incredibly stupidly and through extraordinarily bad management Wolves are effectively writing off the first half a dozen or so games which include 2 -Everton and Leeds at home - that are as close to must win games as there can be.
I can hear the usual suspects saying that there are loads of games left and Wolves don't have to win those games to stay up but you can't have it both ways - if Wolves can't be expected to beat or even draw with the top teams surely they have to beat the bottom team because you have to get to mid 30+ points from somewhere.
As I often ask will the posters who complain about facts and logical analysis tell me the answer: if it's not Everton and Leeds at home who do Wolves beat to get the mid 30 + points needed to survive?
But the problems other than the ones we knew about - lack of squad depth, creativity and goal scoring?
I had assumed Sa would be the 6th best player this season and thus a low priority for change but he was worryingly poor.
I had assumed Emmanuel was the rock upon which the defence would be based - and the 3rd best player - but now he looks rocky rather than a rock.
I had assumed Toti, one of the weak links in the side last season, would have been upgraded as a matter of some urgency. However he is still not only first choice but, despite Vitor volubly asking for it to be addressed, has no rival/cover for the LCB role. People moaning about how poor Wolfe, in his very first game, (somewhat harsh?), looked next to him especially in possession might want to reflect that Toti is the source of that problem and RAN masked that with his brilliance. A good athlete, Toti is a bomb scare with the ball at his feet and his lack of quality leads to him dumping the LWB with enough hospital passes to keep a fleet of ambulances busy.
I had assumed that Lopez would be "one for the future" a back up at best! However after a handful of pre-season run outs he has seemingly been transformed into not just a first 11 player but one of the player's Wolves are looking at to carry the side!
For me ideally I want and this assumes Emmanuel can shake off his lethargy for the first 11
A new GK, new RWB*, Yerson or a new RCB, Emmanuel, New LCB, New LWB*, Andre, Gomes J, Arias, JSL or a new CF, new WF.
* the 2 WBs signed/signing may be the answers here
Plus as back up Sa, Hoever/Lima, Doc, New CCB^, Toti, Bueno H or Gomes R, new DM, Munetsi or Bellegarde, New WF, New CF^, Lopez or Gomes R
^ Yerson and JSL or their alternates fit here
so 7 new players to give a 26 man squad including a 3rd keeper!
ps did I miss anyone out - don't count Fabio, Hwang, Johnstone, Bueno S or Sasa as simply not Prem quality or don't want to be here or both!
7.) 18 Aug 2025 18:35:15
Ron Moore do you really think big sam would do a better job he is too old hat all kick and rush long ball no other tactics might as well bring big mick back then you would see us in a bigger relegation battle would you be a happier man then that would make a lot of people grumble about Fosun don't you think
8.) 18 Aug 2025 21:55:38
Bang on the money as always TFG buddy ??
9.) 18 Aug 2025 23:42:16
Agree about Toti. Too many mistakes made by him lead to us conceding goals.
Jackson has signed and we also have Wolfe as LWB. We need another attacking player to help JSL.
The big dilemma for me is do we play Jackson and Wolfe as WBs who are more defensive minded or do we go with Rodrigo and Lopez as we did in the 2nd half against City and looked better?
10.) 19 Aug 2025 09:10:20
All these posts agreeing with how terrible Toti Gomes is! Has anyone considered that for several seasons we've been a relegation battling team under the cosh for large periods of every match, most defenders would slip up now and again.
He's so highly rated by the club and manager that he's now captain, and if you analyse his stats his ranking amongst the team for; tackles, interceptions, clearances, blocks, he is our 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 4th best player.
If we are going to speculate on who needs to be replaced let's at least prioritise the desperate requirements. An entire team can't be sacked on the basis of being beaten by the best team in the league/world, and we don't have a bottomless pot of cash, in fact we're skint!
11.) 19 Aug 2025 09:54:26
I know, stats are stats, but just to reinforce the fact that our new captain Toti is not a big issue, last season this is how our most played back 3 compare for;
tackles/tackles won, interceptions, clearances, recoveries, errors leading to shot/to goal, penalty conceded, own goal.
Toti 62/43 (69%), 26, 163, 111, 2, 0, 1, 0
Agbadou 55/36 (65%), 30, 163, 170, 1, 0, 0, 0
Doherty 38/21 (55%), 22, 101, 104, 2, 0, 0, 1
Make your own minds up but it’s pretty clear to me where the problem lies.
12.) 19 Aug 2025 14:50:21
Molineux you make a number of excellent points that many are in total denial of, i.e. the sheer number of problems in the side/squad and of course the very serious issues with the clubs finances - tks Jeff.
I also have to acknowledge that I was baffled when Toti was made captain as for me he was one of the weakest players in the team last year although Vitor has made it clear for a while that a new LCB is a priority.
However firstly you surely can't compare Toti to Doherty as Doherty shouldn't be anywhere near the first 11 anymore and hopefully won't be once Yerson is fit. (I would also hope that you would agree that if Emmanuel plays as he did last season the gap to Toti is vast, however I accept that if he plays as he has so far this season then the club has another very major problem!)
Secondly I don't actually deny that as a pure defender he is ok - a decent athlete who tries hard, (takes you a long way as a defender), but he is a very very limited footballer. This means that with the ball at his feet he causes problems. Last season he merely dumped the ball and the problems on to RAN, (and many posters astonishingly criticised RAN for failing to make a silk purse out of a sows ear 100 percent of the time!), this season Wolfe has been the butt of that criticism after just 1 game!
If Toti had 2 good players either side of him to "hold his hand" and give him an out- ball he would be adequate but as it stands he is a weak link.
ps out of the plethora of "desperate requirements" which is your number 1? For me it is not Toti but the second 10 alongside Arias to support JSL, although I agree there are many - see the rest of post above!
13.) 19 Aug 2025 16:19:45
For me the CB department is threadbare, optimistically Agbadou and Toti are good enough leaving Bueno and Doc who are nowhere near good enough and Mosquera who might never be the same player again.
Assuming Arias is up to scratch, the second AM is my second concern but I'm hopeful that R Gomes is the solution as I feel he is much better in an attacking role and reminds me of early Neto. Other options are Lopez who probably isn't ready, Hwang who seems to have regressed, Silva who wants out, and Bellegarde I feel is a better CM
14.) 19 Aug 2025 17:25:52
tks - we seem to see things pretty much the same then?
31 Aug 2025 00:49:22
Don’t mention Raskin As I got called a liar for saying a deal was done for him. We have made bids for 2 other midfielders. We only want 1 out the 3. Never said he was signing, just a deal in place if others fail. If he does sign I will be calling out the 2 who called me a liar and weird. No need for it when this is supposed to be a friendly forum where we all share our views and news we have heard. I’m over 55 years old, supported Wolves all my life and this is what you get from sharing info. I won’t bother in future.
22 Aug 2025 23:32:58
Totally agree. Journey man now
30 Jul 2025 10:54:05
I believe you mate, got it from a good source too. Take no notice buddy
17 Aug 2025 13:40:48
What like Bournemouth. They looked fit, had pace, and had a plan. Against a team who have spent how much?
28 Aug 2024 23:34:23
Thought Guedes was good in parts. Took his second goal brilliantly. Podence and Chiquinho also good in parts. It wasn’t fluid but a good win against a poor Burnley side. Santi was solid and Lima never put a foot wrong. Dawson was great sprayed some great passes and Doyle was ok, just slowed the play down at times.
05 Dec 2023 23:47:07
Yes Jas and been correct every time. Glad you agree.
05 Dec 2023 23:43:24
It’s my personal opinion. I have a right to that. Since Nuno it’s not been good enough. Are you happy with this football we are playing?
