The whole club is a mess.
Fosun are no longer interested and have no intention of turning this mess around.
Rob Edwards, although a nice person, does not have the nous to turn this slump around. He's on a hiding to nothing as we all know we're down but his teams have no cohesion. There doesn't seem to be any unity, togetherness or quality.
I get that the players are poor but even poor players have a clear tactic and an identifiable style of play.
The question is if we get rid of Edwards, who comes in? We can no longer fish in the big pool with one of Mendes clients. I doubt we'd even get the likes of Thomas Frank or Sean Dyche now.
We are now stuck between a rock and a hard place as personally, from what I've seen, Rob Edwards cannot set this team up to win a game. The only alternative I can see is Robbie Keane. He does not have experience at the highest level but the teams he's managed do have a defined style.

I think you’ve said something quite brilliant because there is probably only one person left who would want the Wolves job and who is good enough to turn around their fortunes. Robbie Keane.

Should have also said, of course it doesn’t matter who Fosun brings in. Until they fully change every aspect of how Wolves operate, they could bring in Jesus, Moses and Paul Daniel’s and Wolves will still carry on sliding towards oblivion.

I personally can't see edwards going until we're shown to be awful in the championship, but I'd agree Goodwhile, Robbie Keane, he's lean he's mean (force of habit), is a good call and I reckon he'd relish the job, certainly put a bit of the Irish discipline into players.

Yeah I have to agree with Abbey here, surely the ONLY reason Edwards left a well run club for this absolute shambles was because he was (stupidly) given assurances that this season is a free hit?
I have said from the off that he lacks the experience for the magnitude of the task and I'm afraid it is proving to be so. What really worries me is that the whole point of bringing him in when we did was to build up steam for the Champ, well at the moment the only momentum we are getting is one way and that's downwards! I like the idea of Robbie Keane coming back and sorting this mess but if honest not sure I can see it happening.
Partly because he couldn't leave Wolverhampton quick enough the first time round and secondly because the sheer number of Prem jobs becoming regularly available in this (mental) current climate means that he is likely to get a better offer? Wouldn't be surprised to see him at Spurs, simply because they have run out of fresh choices! Hope I'm wrong because as much as I like Edwards I'm just not sure we can afford to right off another half a season just to be nice/give a chance to the wrong man?!

We have 12 PL matches and at least one cup match to go. If RE can't get us performing we will need to replace him, even before the season's end. Did anyone notice that Larsen scored two excellent goals for Palace last night? It's to VP and RE's detriment that they couldn't get a tune out of him this season.

As long as Fosun are owners we have a very predictable future. They will not spend to get us a good squad for promotion like they did before. I do not understand their continuing ownership.

Thanks for the summary of last nights performance, well lack off. As others have said, where do we go from here?
I thought both Rob and the players had shown a brief upturn in performances a few weeks ago, back to the normal rubbish now.
We are poor I realise, however last nights team, in my opinion, are better than that shown.
What is this down too, is it just Rob?
As even Rob said last night it is important to finish the season on a high, doesn’t look likely, unfortunately. Will they make a change and remove Rob if performances and results continue? A nightmare these days being a Wolves supporter.

I think Edwards will get 10 at the start of next season and if we're not with touching distance of the lead (3 points), he'll be gone.

For me VP is to blame for this season the players signed mean we are far too narrow.
Every player signed hasn't been good enough that lies at teti and VPs remit.
From September it was clear that we didn't have the quality. Maybe RE was signed with the championship in mind.
Personally if Che Adams and Kante that played under Re at Middlesborough came in that's a pretty exciting midfield and forwards.
I feel it's pathetic writing the season off in November though. And it does sort of add to the lack of effort and confusion in the squads performances.
Personally if this continues and West ham get relegated. Nuno may well be back at Molineux. Did either of us truly move on for how it all ended in 2021?
