The Zenga Bus has broken down!
Karl Robinson early favourite for the job. Marco Silva also heavily rumoured. Enough nonsense, no more pie-in-the-sky appointments. In my opinion, BIG SAM. While we can still dream of promotion.

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 25 Oct 2016 15:24:10
I think we all knew that was coming. It is now or never for 'big' Sam and I think he'd take it for a 'big' salary. Absolutely perfect timing and they've definitely got someone lined up, or Zenga would have survived 2 more games.

It's definitely either Sam or Marco Silva - I just doubt Shi going British with his Portuguese connections. Really hope I'm wrong and they do exactly what the fans want this time. They missed 'big' Bruce, and I sincerely hope they don't miss 'big' Sam too.

2.) 25 Oct 2016 15:31:34
Big Sam please.

3.) 25 Oct 2016 15:37:46
No way sherwoood is our man!

4.) 25 Oct 2016 15:46:35
Can't believe people are actually seriously mentioning Sherwood, what a complete and utter waste of time that would be.

5.) 25 Oct 2016 15:59:25
It will be allardyce.

6.) 25 Oct 2016 16:28:05
Totally agree wavidsmith, would love Sam in but not sure if Who's going to choose by the fans.

7.) 25 Oct 2016 16:52:17
and don't anyone say Giggs, unless you want us to be relegation candidates. To be fair, both Silva and Sam are both top notch managers.

8.) 25 Oct 2016 17:02:51
You forgot A V Boas
He has experience of English football
He speaks English
He is out of work
Oh yes his agent is . you guessed it!

9.) 25 Oct 2016 17:12:27
Sherwood!

Madness.

10.) 25 Oct 2016 17:36:11
Big Sam or AVB allllllll day long.

11.) 25 Oct 2016 17:55:52
bring back Mick. Experience in getting out of this league with 2 clubs. Never had money at Wolves when he was in charge. Offer him big bucks. No Big Sam please - way too dodgy for our owners.

12.) 25 Oct 2016 18:00:07
I will go with either Stu.

13.) 25 Oct 2016 19:08:37
Big Mick!? NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! It took us three years to sort out and get rid of the rubbish he left behind on big contracts. The man is poison and I want him nowhere near Molineux. OK now all you moron lovers can shout me down but I am entitled to my opinion and will continue to loathe the man.

14.) 25 Oct 2016 20:49:04
Some respect Doncaster. Mick, in my eyes at least and to many others, is a Molineux legend. He got us to the promised land and kept us there. Mick was a tremendous servant and I would take him back in a heartbeat. Just think he is struggling at Ipswich and also would have major reservations in returning; even having dispensed of the mafia previously in charge.

04 Aug 2016 22:19:35
Can someone provide a source for the Lansbury rumours? A seriously talented midfielder and a perfect fit for us. Would be a tremendous signing and has Championship experience.

Also, Peter Crouch?! Would be delighted to see him sign for us but two fairly important questions; 1. At 35, what can he really bring to the table? 2. Wages?!

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 05 Aug 2016 08:30:35
I think Peter Crouch will join today. Talisca too, I don't think that Lansbury will join till after the Rotherham game.

12 Jul 2016 00:36:22
Wolves extremely close to signing two Manchester United players. Steve Bruce has confirmed that Nick Powell has agreed to sign for us - Hull had previously tried to sign him. Also, Mourinho has put Tyler Blackett up for sale. We're expected to submit a bid of £500k with bonuses for appearances bringing the fee closer to £750k - though it's unlikely that deal will be finished until a takeover is complete.

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 12 Jul 2016 09:02:59
they've been scouting Wilson and Fletcher from Man Utd for some time, if this helps.

2.) 12 Jul 2016 14:44:46
Damn it, Wigan are supposedly close to signing Powell on 3 year contract - Daily Mail.

30 Jun 2016 09:48:29
Express and Star reporting that Kevin McDonald is to be given a "clean slate" to reinvigorate his career at Wolves. In other words, a "new signing". Hopefully however, McDonald knows Jackett's days are numbered with an imminent takeover.

Wolves have seemingly opened talks with Bobby Zamora. One-year deal worth £35k a week.

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 22 Jun 2016 12:49:26
We won't pay anyone 35k a week.

2.) 22 Jun 2016 13:29:20
Ha ha ha ha we won't even pay a third of that.

3.) 22 Jun 2016 13:32:23
HOW MUCH? Moxey must have got the decimal place wrong. Maybe £3.5k a week?

For £35k a week you could get Roger Johnson and Jamie O'Hara!

4.) 22 Jun 2016 13:47:48
There isn't one single credible sauce says were in talk or anything regarding a takeover so can people stop putting false hope in our hearts and minds, Thank you.

5.) 22 Jun 2016 15:02:25
mmmmmmmmmm sauce.

whats your favourite?

6.) 22 Jun 2016 15:15:11
Tartare, if its ta ta to moxey and all. Bring on the sweet and sour.

7.) 22 Jun 2016 15:24:50
Bloody predictive text 😬.

8.) 22 Jun 2016 17:02:54
Bobby Zamora coming to Wolves, your having a laugh! He's well past his sell by date and won't score many goals at Champ level; found it hard to score in a good Brighton side last season! Sorry this rumour is B-LLS--T in my opinion.

9.) 22 Jun 2016 21:01:59
There's only one sauce

Only person who gets 35k a week is the bloke who delivers Jez's pies.

10.) 23 Jun 2016 07:49:28
When the ball hits your head and you sit in Row Z - that's Zamora. Guaranteed to be singing that all day now. He's too old now so no thanks.

11.) 23 Jun 2016 18:57:14
A classic 😎.

Talk about your game of two halves! Dave Edwards fantastic all game once again - a real leader of the team. The first half was brutal but the second brilliant. Cavaleiro showed terrific character, Lonergan pulled off some brilliant saves and I hope to God we can keep Costa - somehow I doubt it!

How that was a penalty I'll never understand - clumsy but so, so soft. Also, if he gives one to Ince, he has to do the same for us about 30 seconds later. Overall, proud of the performance second half.

I know I've brought a lot of negativity about the appointment but in all seriousness, best of luck to Lambert. Must accept the decision and support the team. Come on you Wolves!

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 05 Nov 2016 20:31:41
Come on Wolves fans get real first half was rubbish damage was done, how we was not 5 down I will never now ROB EDWARDS TEAM SELECTIONS ALL WRONG AGAIN.
Derby didn't have to break sweat bit harsh with penalty decision but they deserved it.
Hope Lambert can get we organised like Derby were first half under Mclaren, seamed to me like it was men playing boys all credit to them they deserved there win, pleased with our keeper done some good saves to keep score down although could blame him a little for first goal, but if it had not been for him they would of been out of sight.
GOOD LUCK LAMBERT YOU WILL NEED IT, IF YOU GET IT RIGHT YOU WILL BE WORSHIPPED.

01 Nov 2016 09:22:30
Well it seems like Lambert is all but confirmed in the job - 1/ 6 with for the job, Pearson second with 9/ 2. I'd honestly prefer Dean 'Colonel' Saunders as opposed to this Villa REJECT. An appointment really lacking in ambition. Years of turgid, dull football at Villa. He did do alright with Norwich but his time at Blackburn was equally uninspiring. Lacking even the passion that Zenga had. Stick to the punditry in my opinion.

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 01 Nov 2016 10:05:30
"He did do alright with Norwich"? The bloke got them promoted from League One to the PL in two seasons! He was a genius at Norwich! When Lambert managed Colchester, they hammered Norwich 7-0 in League One. Norwich immediately poached him. Zenga's passion was misleading, he certainly was not interested in giving his all for Wolves, as he never bothered to move here or see the youngsters in the academy.

2.) 01 Nov 2016 10:44:39
Well that's all very negative stuff Wolfie Wild, and I for one don't agree with your comments at all.

Lets look at his record. He got Norwich promoted from League 1 and then took them straight through into the Premiership the following season (all done with very little money) . He then kept them in the Premiership the next year before leaving to take the reins at Villa. At Villa he did OK under the circumstances. He was not given any money by Randy Lerner, so had to rely on a young inexperienced side to try and perform in the Premiership, and as we all know no Manager would be able to succeed under those circumstances. Tim Sherwoods failure at Villa can also be excused for the same reason.

At Blackburn he also did OK working with difficult owners (Venkys) and again no money.

Lets be positive whoever gets the job.

UTW.

3.) 01 Nov 2016 16:09:25
I doubt the new manager will get any money from us either. So we need someone who can, well, manage.

28 Oct 2016 13:18:24
Just wondering how other fans feel. In very tough conditions, Keith Curle has done a brilliant job at Carlisle. Former player as well. Unbeaten in 14 this season!

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 28 Oct 2016 16:00:34
Good call! Would be a great choice!

2.) 28 Oct 2016 16:20:53
Nice one! Could even be player/ manager with our lot at the back!

3.) 28 Oct 2016 22:41:50
Curle stop drinking.

25 Oct 2016 15:18:51
Now let's hope 'Bacon' Butti packs his bags as well. No more cronies of Jorge Mendes; Wolverhampton Wanderers is a club steeped in history and tradition. We're not some oligarchic idiot's toy! Bring in Big Sam and forgive his errors - he's one of our own. Then I believe we'll nab a play-off spot this season at least.

The person who believes Fosun do not consult online comments in relation to Wolves is very cynical. Perhaps the dinosaurs of yesteryear - Bob the Builder and Pie Man - preferred the pigeon. But the hostility on social media - in my opinion at least - was crucial in their thinking. We DON'T want Marco Silva. We DON'T want Willy Sagnol. We DO want and need an English boss who knows the division. So Fosun, PR, if you do happen to be reading this; 1. Sorry to blow your cover! 2. Please give us fans what we need - don't let us dip down to League 1 again.

Absolute joke tonight. God WZ is actually worse than Jackett. While Kenny was left with the bare bones of a squad, we've now got a talented, packed squad. Just tactical ineptitude and clueless ideas holding us back. I'm not going to go on more about how Steve Bruce should've Bern appointed. But it's becoming very clear why Zenga tends to only last a wet weekend at teams. Too many stupid points thrown away and Norwich coming up. Based on this they'll eat us alive.

Just one final thing; how do we get outplayed by Wigan, Burton and of course Barnsley yet go and win at St. James'? Infuriating really.

Big Sam anyone?!

Wolfie Wilde

1.) 28 Sep 2016 08:09:12
Big Sam? Noooooooo! He'd sell the club from under us Greedy Bastard! Well done the press, crucify him now! 😡.

Tony Adams?! LOL. Eat my hat if he gets the job. Bombed with Pompey. Great centre-back; crap manager. Bit like Terry Butcher. Also, those other names are pretty awful.

You kidding? I think around three quarters of the fans would love Robbie back. Not just nostalgic daydreaming, he would still score goals.

As an Irishman, I've got a lot of love for Keano. But he was appalling with Ipswich and jumped ship from Sunderland as soon as things got tough. Maybe he'll play in midfield though! I'd still bloody take him.
