The Lopetegui rumours are really hotting up as per article in Spanish press - Todofichajes . Large contract, strong investment, total control of sport management, meeting in days. Too good to be true but just hope there is some truth in them this time. All over social media.

Mirror reporting Li one of 2 people currently in non disclosure agreement with Morgan.

EJ

1.) 06 Jul 2016 21:29:17
all interested parties signed ndas so why are those two unique?

2.) 06 Jul 2016 21:30:34
Can't be true it's not been mentioned on here! 😬😆.

3.) 06 Jul 2016 21:41:37
Only telling you what the mirror are reporting.

4.) 06 Jul 2016 21:52:45
I know EJ I was only being sarcastic. Not sure where all the stories are coming from after "both" parties sign NDAs.

5.) 06 Jul 2016 22:19:47
Bit of a vague headline from the Mirror. One of two parties to enter NDA with Morgan? Does that mean there are two competing bids on the table or is that two people representing the same bid. Is a party a person or a group? Surely there are more than two people in Robin Li's negotiating team.

6.) 06 Jul 2016 22:25:47
Mirror have got this wrong, deal is being finalised with Robin Li, no other parties.

7.) 06 Jul 2016 22:30:48
David Clarke u said earlier deal was off? Your word means f. k all!

8.) 06 Jul 2016 22:33:35
When is this going to be announced fed up of waiting.

9.) 06 Jul 2016 22:37:14
How come you've changed your mind.

10.) 06 Jul 2016 22:43:49
Wowwww David Clarke. The deal was 100 percent off earlier this evening haha.

11.) 06 Jul 2016 23:02:49
Thought the deal was off David Clarke, changed ya mind?

12.) 06 Jul 2016 23:15:08
If Li does buy the club, I wouldn't want to have Lopetegui as manager. I have a friend in porto, portugal where FC Porto sacked him last season, despite only being 4 points off the top, to quote my friend "Poor You! the guy picks up good players and makes them pass across or backwards only" In other words he's not very attacking minded, quite boring.
Now let's be clear on the championship, the teams that go up need to score a lot of goals, be aggressive and attack, look when we went up, bournemouth last season etc etc.

I'd prefer a good British manager, who knows what it takes, there's to many failed spanish managers in this and the premier league!

13.) 06 Jul 2016 23:30:05
Mirror have indeed have this wrong . The press announcement tomorrow will put everything to bed. Congratulations.

14.) 06 Jul 2016 23:44:22
Why believe rumours?
Why don't the club just come out and tell us it's true or not? I don't get it!

15.) 07 Jul 2016 08:04:30
still waiting for Nobby's apology.

16.) 07 Jul 2016 08:36:41
The guy can put Micky Mouse in charge, I don't really care as long as we have that sort of financial backing. Oh, I nearly forgot, we already have a Micky Mouse in charge right now.

25 Jun 2016 10:03:49
Issues over permit for Sylla - surprise, surprise! (Pun intended! ) Good to see Moxey choosing option 3 from the usual list of excuses for not signing a player. Watch this space. 💤💤💤💤💤💤💤.

EJ

1.) 25 Jun 2016 10:31:22
This just sort thing u expect from any signings we after - it not like club didn't know would need work permit long long time ago so why didn't they try get it sorted sooner also don't expect any other targets be anywhere close to level this guy is -ie played in champions lge rounds nxt on list more likely played jpt rounds 😟.

2.) 25 Jun 2016 13:00:18
Nothing surprises we wolves fans anymore and got to the stage were I have made my mind up, will not be paying good money I have earned to watch that what the club called football last season, till they have shown some ambition and signed some players to go with these young players or Morgan as sold club, wishing for a Moexit like Brexit that will make me happy.

3.) 25 Jun 2016 17:15:26
I think a fair few of us saw this type of situation arising, same old wolves, all smoke and mirrors, the blokes record isn't great so why chase anyway.
Sooner the club is sold and the hierarchy is changed the better.

4.) 26 Jun 2016 00:17:24
"same old wolves, all smoke and mirrors" have the club released anything publicly saying they want him? or are you blaming wolves for a rumour not being true?

5.) 26 Jun 2016 08:31:45
They said want him have agreed price etc so no excuse that didn't sort work permit issued out earlier.

6.) 26 Jun 2016 10:37:59
Good comments yamyamrob it's the same old things happening again and again and to be honest I think Wolves fans have had enough now with Moxey, Morgan's lies and there ambition of trying to take our beloved club forward when they just sit there and do nothing positive for our club giving false promises all the time, we need a complete change at our club to progress it's the only way let's hope our club is sold to someone who as ambition, it seams the only hope we have, would love to be wrong and Morgan decides to invest a bit of is wealth until he can sell club which I think would be in is best interest to sell the club quicker or the question is does he realy want to sell.

7.) 26 Jun 2016 17:22:15
Basically, we will only sign players the club believes to be way below market value, loan deals or kids for development.

Hence we can sell on for future profit.

The only question this summer is how much we (Morgan) will get for Iorfa.

I can't believe a take over is imminent.

I can't believe we will complete in the transfer market.

Staying up will be a result. This is a real shame as I honestly believe the nucleus of a good team is there.

8.) 26 Jun 2016 21:25:47
I agree WABFK, interesting points you raise. We have a potential good team with correct additions would potentially make us in a position to challenge.
Sadly and I think this won't be the case, we can all have our reasons, but for me, we require a, General overall, from CE to below and the infrastructure. I accept we have an awesome academy but experience is pivotal.
But we all clearly love this club so collectively we need to support the current squad and management at this time as negative comments will not help .

UTW 👊👏👏💕👍.

9.) 27 Jun 2016 08:47:32
Call me what you will.

But I actually disagree with everything you guys have said.
I admit our club is a little bad for not getting promotion this season. But look at what Leicester did this season no premier league stars but still won the league.
Yes I would like a takeover to be able to get higher quality players. But at the moment we are where we are. I think it is good as us Wolves fans to stay behind Wolves through and through, being positive along the way. If we can achieve that then hopefully the team can and Wolves could get promoted.

10.) 27 Jun 2016 09:29:57
Il alway be Wolves but unless there's a takeover there will be little positivity at molineux this forthcoming season. That's reality.

11.) 27 Jun 2016 12:16:01
Agree Paul, I've judged the mood by the lack of reaction from close friends and other fans when the fixtures came out. No excitement whatsoever.

12.) 27 Jun 2016 14:00:48
Wolves011 I admire you sentiments but I greet to say blind loyalty to a cause never works, never.
You have a lot of people who are wolves fans who are brave enough to ask simple questions when they can see things aren't right. Yes you have the extremists as well.
But to follow blindly when you can plainly see things are not right on and off the pitch is a sad way to go.

13.) 27 Jun 2016 15:27:20
With you derbywolf. We keep saying it, hoping for it, and nothing seems to change. Although we all love the wolves this stagnation drains enthusiasm. We, as fans, need a change and soon or interest will dwindle to apathy and be presented in low attendances and support. Just how morgan/ moxey can carry on in their apparent ignorance of the clubs supporters and teams moral is beyond belief.

14.) 27 Jun 2016 16:42:54
I am glad to see reactions from the likes of Steve Daley and Mel Eves in recent days. Two of our own coming out to point out the obvious we need change now not in the middle of a season or if your not selling put the money in so new players can be bought. My only question mark to Steve's comments are, he thinks KJ is the right man! . Who knows maybe if he shook the monkey off his back (Therwell who has never played the game) and was left to operate with a confirmed budget he may well be the right man. But I will need some happy pills to believe it.

15.) 27 Jun 2016 17:42:06
Spanish wolf. Steve Daley either sincerely thinks Kenny is the right man, or, he doesn't want to undermine him. I believe the latter is correct. No point in a former player rubbishing Kenny, that's a job for the fans!

16.) 27 Jun 2016 23:07:18
Oh well at least we have England to cheer us up.

17.) 28 Jun 2016 06:52:04
Rumour has it we're interested in signing Roy Hodgson.

18.) 28 Jun 2016 10:07:57
Even wolves too much ambition for uncle Roy.

19.) 28 Jun 2016 10:44:30
Kenny Jackett to be appointed next England manager.
1 tactically incompetent
2 doesn't know his best team
3 yes man
Meets all the criteria above.

20.) 28 Jun 2016 12:12:29
Watching England last night I can't help thinking Jordan Graham is better than Raheem Sterling. Is that being silly? I'm not saying Graham is worth £50million. I just think he would have a greater impact on a game. Look at the impact Rashford made when he came on. Basically, Sterling is vastly overrated by those who paid $49million for him.

21.) 28 Jun 2016 15:10:38
Jordan would run rings round Iceland but u got pick price also those two wouldn't embarrass the country like those overpaid muppets have and good on Dave Edwards flying the wolves flag high n proud.

22.) 28 Jun 2016 15:52:20
U cheer Dave Edwards on in a Wales top? I won't be, Come on Belgium!

23.) 28 Jun 2016 17:23:03
Whats the gripe there paultam? Edwards henners vokes they served us/ are serving us. Come on wales.

24.) 28 Jun 2016 17:48:58
For Wolves I support him for Wales I don't! I'm English not British! Did u watch the Welsh W--kers celebrate our exit? F--k em!

25.) 28 Jun 2016 20:04:16
100 % with Paul on this.

I know times are hard but to cheer on a neighbouring rival country that hates us?

For Hennessey?

He went on strike remember before lining his own pocket and ditching us after we nursed him back to health.

21 Apr 2016 18:15:31
Can anybody explain to me why Kevin Macdonald can have three goals on 'goal of the season' and yet isn't even on the bench these days. Come on KJ the goal scorer we need is in the dressing room. None of his goals are exactly tap-ins either! Swallow your pride - play him.

EJ

1.) 21 Apr 2016 18:22:20
Three goals for KMac? Is that more than Mason, Siggy and ALF put together?

2.) 21 Apr 2016 19:38:41
Siggy's goals are rarer than hen's teeth.

3.) 21 Apr 2016 23:07:12
But one less than Seville in a third of the games.

4.) 22 Apr 2016 08:43:20
If saville had been playing from the start of season Heywood of chipped in with at least 10 goals from centre mid easily! he is def a ggoalscoring midfielder, k mac attitude isn't good!

5.) 22 Apr 2016 12:59:36
That's not necessarily true, Saville could have had a stinker of a 1st half of the season. From what your saying it seems to me you rate Saville more than McDonald, Saville has one good game scores and then goes missing in the next few. McDonald although not been in brilliant form this season has been a 6-8 out of 10 when he's played, Saville can have one week a 9 out of 10 and the next a 4 out of 10.

6.) 22 Apr 2016 13:31:51
Saville is a very good footballer, rubbish tackler though, he had a very good season at Brentford, played well and millwall, he has come into a disrupted wolves team and still scores goals from midfield, k mac doesn't want to play for us anymore u can tell by his bodylanguage like afobe, y play him if he isn't going to be here next season.

7.) 22 Apr 2016 14:27:38
JACKETT doesn't want him to play and I guess Mac doesn't want to play for JACKETT anymore! I'm sure if a new gaffer came in Macdonald would be picked regularly and would definitely be an asset!

8.) 22 Apr 2016 18:21:27
Jackett seems to have forgot that when Price and Mcdonald play together, wolves play much better football and bring much better results. I'd love to see next season Price McDonald Evans as our CM 3. Think Evans is a much better player than Saville. Team next season excl. Signings
Ikeme
Iorfa Batth Hause Doherty
Wallace Evans Price Mcd (graham when fit)
Dicko
Flatt
Williamson
Deslandes
Coady
Henry
Hunte
Enobakhare.

9.) 22 Apr 2016 18:45:47
KMac can kill a ball easily and pick a beautiful pass. He has a strong g physical build and proud Scottish roots. But he has the heart of a mouse and the mobility of pregnant hippo. He is by far the most creative player in the current squad but that says much more about the squad than him.

10.) 22 Apr 2016 21:57:13
Saville should be played at CAM, as for Mcd I think he should be allowed to play. Next seasons line up.
GK Ikeme/ Martinez
LB doherty/ Rico Henry
CB Hause/ Landell
Rb Iorfa
Cm Evans
Cm Price
CAM saville
LW Graham/ Wallace
ST Dicko/ Ellis
Rw zyro/ Henry.

11.) 23 Apr 2016 00:14:15
Wolves011 you said MCD should play but you haven't included him in your team and Martinez is on loan so I dought he will be here next year. Who is Ellis do you mean Ennis? No Mason and I would think Zyro will be lucky to play next year. Apart from that looks ok for starters.

07 Feb 2016 14:59:33
With the loan window opening next week, anybody got any ideas who might be brought in. Given our past history somebody better than Holt or Sagbo. Another Afobe would be good.

Meanwhile, can't wait for the spin put on the forthcoming early bird (dead duck) deal.

EJ

1.) 07 Feb 2016 16:12:29
Maybe somebody to make a bigger bench for all jackett's signings to sit on. joking a side, would like to see us sign adlene guedioura and a decent number 9.

2.) 07 Feb 2016 17:41:05
Just been reading Tim Spiers views on yesterday's game. Apparently leaving Mason on the bench is making him scratch his head - join the club mate! Difference is that he has the man himself in front of him so on behalf of everybody on here, please ask him what the hell he is doing/ thinking. Ta.

3.) 07 Feb 2016 18:23:23
Yep, centre midfielder definitely. I don't think we could get an Afobe on loan because any club wouldn't let a player of that quality go. But maybe Iheanacho from Manchester City?

4.) 07 Feb 2016 18:53:10
Spiers and Nash before him only sucked up to the hierarchy at Wolves! Not worth readin mate they got most of their info off the message boards.

5.) 07 Feb 2016 19:04:32
I would love Jerome Sinclair of Liverpool powerful fast goalscorer.

6.) 07 Feb 2016 20:17:05
We played a 4-3-3 yesterday and Mason is a No 10 who plays behind the striker.

7.) 08 Feb 2016 09:45:28
Regarding Mason being on the bench, I'm not surprised. As Bhamwolf points out he in a number 10 who plays behind a striker. There was no way Kenny was going to play Mason AND a striker on Saturday as we were lining up very defensively. When we do this, we play a lone striker/ centre forward up front and hope for the best. Siggy was more suited to this role.

I too would love Jerome Sinclair on loan but I fear that promising PL players don't want to risk their reputation in our division.

8.) 08 Feb 2016 13:39:18
Given up on jacket to much tinkering with side and seams to have reached is level going backwards, last year he must have had some luck its boring football this year, club have no ambition be glad when sold does the Realist have any latest on club being sold or does anyone, can't stand it at the moment going nowhere.

EJ

He has quit .

15 May 2017 19:24:28
What a weird situation we're in. Club acting as if nothing is wrong with pre-season friendlies announced today. Small matter of a manager/ head coach to sort out first Fosun. I know I'm just another sucker who fell for the rhetoric and renewed my season ticket but I would really appreciate some sort of update on what my money is treating me to next season. Almost feel like my ticket was missold - its like booking a 14-day holiday in the sun and ending up on a wet weekend in Bognor. Disappointing. Whilst I wasn't a massive PL fan, I did feel he deserved a chance with his own players and at least a period of stability. Beginning to doubt anything that comes out of Molineux at the moment, sad times.

EJ

1.) 15 May 2017 20:13:50
We'll be playing Bognor soon if Lambert stays!

27 Nov 2016 09:56:14
What a shambles yesterday. No shape, no ideas, no defence, no real leader, no confidence within the team. The on loan players aren't interested, the players we own aren't up to it. 7m player on the bench and £70 Saville on the pitch! Lambert needs to be allowed to buy players who know the league. Mendez needs to keep his players to himself and Thelwell needs a reality check or a pay-off cheque. Great opportunity yesterday to impress a load of new supporters or entice old supporters back - failed! I fear for our league status this season because that performance was woeful and belonged in league one.

EJ

1.) 27 Nov 2016 12:25:10
Wolves fans get used to league 1 because this Wat happened wEn.

2.) 27 Nov 2016 12:26:43
Wolves fans get used to league 1 because this was what happened when solbakken was here.

06 Sep 2016 17:01:26
So Steve Morgan says that Fosun have deep pockets. Perhaps someone should have told him that he too has deep pockets but also blessed with short arms!

EJ

1.) 07 Sep 2016 13:00:45
Here we go the weekly swipe at Morgan. He is the past we are now in a new era many of us don't care what he has to say.
On the otherhand he has made sure we were left in safe hands and I think Morgan was just badly advised by Moxey during the M+M era.

2.) 07 Sep 2016 15:57:35
Well Spoken Rated RKO we are in a new era, and I have to say after having a moan myself at how Morgan was running the club and wanted new owners it seams he as left us in good hands with the Fosen takeover so for that I think we should all thank him as he could of sold to anybody after how we treated him.

3.) 07 Sep 2016 19:26:58
It wasn't a moan it was a vague attempt at humour!

02 Sep 2016 17:08:05
Looking forward to seeing all the new signings (and Stears) in action. Great work by Fosun and a real show of commitment. Not wanting to be picky but could we please all be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century now and have a couple of new scoreboards to watch replays of all the fantastic football we're about to see. The old ones represent the era of Morgan/ Moxey - not working/ old school!

EJ

1.) 02 Sep 2016 19:34:54
With you there EJ. Also have one moan myself + all the people round me in the upper SB. The music/ songs (content ok) is far to loud to have a conversation, even with the person next seat. that's my moan over. Looking forward to a season as much as in the 50`s.60`s. when I first started going.

UTW.

2.) 02 Sep 2016 20:15:09
And can I add- get the sodding tannoy sorted out. Can anyone in the ground actually hear what's being said at half time? I've been to stadium concerts with 90,000+ people and heard every word.
It's a good job there's not an emergency and they are asking us to evacuate.

{Ed003's Note - sounds like the issue might be your hearing aid Lowwolf :) }

3.) 02 Sep 2016 20:23:31
Ha ha, point taken Ed., Pardon?

{Ed003's Note - eh ?? ;) }

4.) 02 Sep 2016 20:24:57
Or maybe Ed, it's the result of too many concerts with 90,000+ people?

{Ed003's Note - oooh which ones ? my best one was simple minds at roundhay park think there was about 80k }

5.) 02 Sep 2016 20:41:38
Biggest was U2 in Paris. Stade De France.
Month before that I saw them at millennium stadium Cardiff.

{Ed003's Note - nice one fan of them in the early days but not now - just thinking but don't tell anyone I went to a Madonna concert at the old Wembley(the hanky panky tour one) must have been a few there and in a complete opposite watched Heavan 17 a few weeks back with several hundred but it was bloody marvelous.}

6.) 02 Sep 2016 20:53:52
I won't tell a soul, you're secret is safe 👍🏼👍🏼.

{Ed003's Note - cheers pal.}

7.) 03 Sep 2016 00:23:57
a Madonna concert. ah well
Was dragged to Simply Red concert at old Wembley. probably largest crowd
Remember way back saw Del Shannon at the Civic Hall Wolvo and only couple of hundred turned up .

8.) 03 sep 2016 09:43:40
got to be queen wembley 86 year after live aid, suport quo / inxs the alarm . what a great day,

9.) 03 Sep 2016 11:27:02
Hell of a lineup there Swansea. The old Wembley was brilliant for concerts. Just realised though. Of the four bands you mentioned, two have lost their main man. Two great front men.

10.) 03 Sep 2016 18:19:46
I doff my cap to you Swansea that's one hell of a line up.

11.) 03 Sep 2016 20:15:36
If you want to a great live band checkout southside johnny + the asbury jukes from NY, best cd got to be BETTER DAYS 1991 B/ JOVI +THE BOSS ON BACK UP VOCALS GREAT ROCK/ BLUES, USUALY PLAY THE ROBIN ( BILSTON )

Warm weather camp in December - ideal opportunity for a new manager to get to know the players, a sort of mini pre-season. Maybe Spain? Who knows who might be joining them.
