Under stan cullis wolves where a team to be proud of they never finished lower than 6 position in 1st division. Winning everything available
He was a no nonsense manager.
This is the sort of manager we need today. stan was the longest serving manager at wolves. when & if the goals will go in
Predict 3-0 next match.

Maybe we should revert back to the 1950's style football boots ?. Should have help with the pass completion and shots on target.

A different world the 1950's, far more deference to authority in society and players paid affordable, if low salaries. The rot started in the 60's with the emergence of Best as a superstar. A few managers who were successful could maintain discipline, from that period on but frankly I'm not sure a Clough or Ferguson approach would work with today's all superstar clubs.
Klopp and Guardiola are more recent managerial role models.

No you're right ard 1, Clough and Fergie would not get on with players attitude how they are now I just loved 50s an 60s I know we fell apart in mid 60s but that was down to the great Stan Cullis not taking on board the ways of team set ups could not understand 4-5-2 ect.
