I don't understand why we all seemed shocked, in the summer we brought in 2 old men who are injury prone, an unproven winger, we got rid of 2 massive forwards who would terrorise the defence's in this league, then we play Mane on the wing, who clearly had his best performances last season as a roaming 10 so should be rotating with fer Lopez, Sa has to left feet, Toti is a headless chicken, Armstrong is too busy running around to notice where the actual goal mouth is, Doyle runs around looking at the grass, then we spend at lot of time tripping over our own laces and complaining to the referee why there was no free kick and in the interim the opposition is in our 18 yard area, we continue to play sideways and backwards ( I'm sure we were going to play an aggressive high press and be on the front foot!!).

And then way say it was always going to be a tough game away at Boro!! Jesus every game is going to be a tough game if we don't get our act together!! Jesus We Are Wolves, founder members of the football league!! We deserve better Jeff No2!!! FFS!

Away to Boro after the international break was never going to be easy. Nonetheless, that Wolves team and performance wouldn't have beaten Shrewsbury.

Hugo Bueno has dropped a level and seems to have regressed.

Mane is being played in the wrong position and is offering very little. He's almost a hindrance.

Starting Toti Gomes after the WBA game was always going to happen, but he's not good enough to be starting games, and he never will be. I wouldn't even want to see him come on with 30 minutes to go.

Munetsi couldn't trap a bag of sand, and has the worst passing ability I've ever seen. He stops Wolves attacks and puts the team under pressure in dangerous positions. I don't understand his inclusion. I don't get it at all.

Adam Armstrong serves no purpose. He won't score enough goals and he's not a striker. He can't be picked in front of R Gomes. He starts as a last resort, or comes on with 20 minutes to go. A very poor signing. He will eventually cost Wolves £9 million. A scandalous signing. Wolves will never learn.

Wolves have a 19-yr-old kid as back for a 35-yr-old Raul Jimenez - who looks like he needs more than a month to recover from an injury. Jimenez hasn't been fit from day one.

Tommy Doyle shouldn't be starting any games for Wolves. There are better players in every single position. He was woeful against Middlesbrough.

However, for all the negatives, no blame can be placed at Peixoto's door. Doyle as a 10 was unforgivable, but hopefully it won't happen again. Peixoto can only work with what he has, and his hands are tied by the clubs appalling owners.

The fault for Wolves' problems lies solely at Fosuns door. They are clueless owners who have lacked ambition for years. The stadium will never be touched under Fosun. The same applies to the training facilities. The youth system almost lost its category one status. The women's team lost their opportunity to get promoted because of the walking nightmare that is Jeff Shi.

Daz Hale on the Wolves Report basically said what's the point in promotion to the Premier League when we have owners who have no ambition to take wolves forward.

Personally I cannot see Wolves finishing in the top two. The team won't score enough goals and the defence will concede too many goals. Results will be too inconsistent.

With the right players in the right positions, and Peixoto using the right tactics, Wolves have a chance, but I can't see it happening. Wolves have too many injury prone players, players who don't want to be at the club, too many players for the same positions, and not enough players for key areas.

Fosuns cheapskate tactics and complete lack of ambition will see at least three clubs finish above Wolves.

The team will have to punch its way out of the play offs.

I agree it doesn't look great at the moment but just want to say currently we are joint 6th highest scorers, we are joint 5th for least conceded. Yes we may not be top two with those figures but before the season started a lot of people said we would be fighting relegation.

From our 8 games we have played 5 sides currently in the top 10 I know it's early days still. 3 of those sides are in the top 4 one we beat 4-1 at home and one we lost to 4-2 away. Are we good enough for top 2, probably not but as a few have said what's the point getting promoted if we have owners who don't want to invest and yet again seem to have left us short in another transfer window.

I dont think it's quite as bad as some make out but I understand the disappointment. I do however find it interesting that a lot of the posts after the loss at the weekend come from posters who it appears have never commented previously. I don't know why that is, I'm sure some are new posters but some feel like people who keep changing their username to stir the pot.

It may not be as bad as some make out. but thats because the standard is so poor thru the whole division. away at Boro may be tough. but as a recently relegated prem twam it shojld be an easy enuf 3points as most games should be. whu away proved tough as it would be. but Boro. come on.we shud be able to at least compete with them.we wer terrible last ssn and we continue to be.even against weaker opposition.without a 20+goalscorer you dont get out of this division..time some of this lot stepped up a gear.

or get out.and the tactics.seems like hes in panic mode already. and accepted the loss at Boro before we even kicked off..simply not good enough.of we fail to beat Bolton well.who couldnt beat 10man Stoke.i just dont know.

I think the problem at Middlesbrough is Peixoto played to not lose.

The standard of most teams in the Championship is poor. Wolves have the players to beat most of them. Sadly Wolves can't get that team together because of injuries, lack of fitness, and lack of commitment.

To finish top two Wolves need their strongest side at all times. The back up players won't score enough goals and they'll concede too many.

* Djiga is absolute class.
* Trippier is class, but he's 36 years of age. Sadly some wingers and fullbacks will skin him alive.
* Andre is a superb DM. However, he is inconsistent.
* Mane is a skillfull player, but he's a kid, and he's not a winger. He's a quick 10, but a slow winger.
* Lopez is a cut above every other player in the Championship. He is so important for Wolves. Lose him to a longterm injury and Wolves' season is done.
* Rodrigo is class, but he needs Lopez playing alongside him.
* Raul Jimenez oozes class and he has a phenomenal footballing brain to go with undoubted ability. Sadly he's 35, injured and unfit. He also looks like he won't recover quickly from an injury.
* Bellegarde is class, but where does he play? Surely Peixoto has to play a midfield three with James.
* James is class, but where does he play? Surely Peixoto has to play a midfield three with Bellegarde.

Does Peixoto play 4-3-3 with Bellegarde, Andre and James behind Said, Lopez and R Gomes? No point in playing a striker who can't score. With a tight defence, Wolves can get enough goals from the above 4-3-3 system.

Can't agree that bellegardes class
He offers nothing,, just like Armstrong
Neave should start,, before him
James before bellegarde
Give the Virginian a go in goal too.

I agree with 99.9% of what you've said but bellegarde class ?????. No he isn't. Got to start neave up front with fer lopez at 10. Give said a chance & put krejcki in for toti James has to start for me. Bolton playing us lift's them as we know & burnley away is gonna be very hard. 4 points I'd be more than happy.
