So Nathan Shi and Matt Jackson both categorically said that money would be available to the Head Coach to ensure that Wolves would be in a position to mount a promotion challenge.
So far the club have spent £9.3m on Said and Virginia as well as the fee to turn Krejci's move permanent.
This then means one of 3 things.
1: Peixoto thinks the quality was already in the squad.
2: We are unable to move the high salaried players on as they simply ain't good enough.
3: Fosun lied.
Personally, I think it's number 3.

This window was never going to be easy for Wolves, especially with Rob Edwards being sacked at such an inconvenient time. I think that Wolves were waiting for pieces to fall favourably so they could get Peixoto.
The Wolves team is starting to take shape and certain players are looking good. Maybe that's a drop from Championship to Premier League, or maybe Peixoto is getting more out of them. Regardless, Fer Lopez is the best player outside the Premier League.
I've seen a few different games and I can't see a better player. Opponents are putting three players on Lopez and he's still getting through them! Mateus Mane can't do that.
Hopefully Wolves can get promoted without too much money being invested. It's better to keep funds for the Premier League.
However, if Wolves get promoted and Fosun once again turn Wolves' PL adventure into a s*** show, there will be nowhere for Fosun to turn.

The drop is from PL to Championship. ? ? ?

4: Matt Jackson is not very good at his job.
Two midfielders have to go to make way for a striker and R/W. Just a few days to sort it.

5 - They had since December to prepare. Fosun are incompetent as well as liars.
Chancing their luck again, trying to compete on the cheap. Didn't work well last season, did it.

Different Shi... same Fosun, enough said!

I don't get it. Why is everyone moaning and filling the place with negativity?
We are top of the league at the moment, and if I'm right, we can be third at worst after the weekend.
We're scoring goals, playing some great football, and, in Fer, we are witnessing a star developing. Boy, can he pick a pass in the box.
We have spent big this window, yes, on wages rather than xfer fees, but we are really competitive and it's fun following the Wolves.
I don't think the moaners should be known as supporters. They're better known as detractors.
UTW and bring on Tuesday. I dare say, if we lose to West Ham, there'll be hell to pay on here.

Tim, I think you have to recognise that other posters are not anti-Wolves. There is a big difference between blind faith and some clear concerns for the club.
My personal view is that we are playing attractive football and scoring goals.
It is encouraging to register early points. However, the concerns others have about our defensive frailties need to be recognised.
As you suggest, Tuesday's game will tell us more.
