On a serious note, just read of the ex W*** B*** player Quevin Castro passing away after collapsing on the pitch in Portugal.
No matter who he played for, or how much we hate Sandwell, it’s terrible to hear of such a young man losing his life. 25 is no age for anyone to pass away, it really is tragic, terrible news.

Hadn't seen that story. How awful! We can hate the Baggies as much as we want, but football is just football, so any 25 year old passing is a horrific tragedy. Thoughts for his fam and the Baggies. So sad. ?

Saw him playing for York a couple of seasons ago. Incredibly sad news.

Hadn't heard of him, but no matter what club or country it's awful to hear of someone so young passing. It is indeed sad news to hear, and my thoughts go out to his family, friends, and associates.

Very sad news indeed. Is it my imagination, or are these deaths and serious on-pitch incidents becoming more common compared to the 1970s, when I first started following the game?
