I posted last week about not wanting to be doom and gloom, but was disappointed with the club's inactivity. We all know this team needed a massive overhaul and Jackson and Shi have had months to do it. I was smashed by certain posters, I think most will agree now I was right. That was worse than last year tonight against worse opponents.
Where is the money? Last time we were in the Championship we had Neves, Jots, Moutinho, wingers who could attack. Our bench is non-existent; we don’t have forwards if Gimenez or Armstrong get injured, no pace wide. And Toti in defence and captain. Won’t take long for the crowd to turn if this carries on.

Toti is awful. His constant poor performances bring down the performances of the likes of Mosquera and Wolfe.
Tommy Doyle is another who isn't good enough.
Fosun need to act, and act fast, or we're facing a period of mediocrity.

Toti has to be dropped and Trippier has to be made captain. Toti was dreadful tonight. Absolutely awful. Mosquera, Toti and Moller Wolfe cost Wolves two goals. Doesn't help with Bentley in goal. Almost League One level defence.
I've defended Mosquera, but he was dire tonight. So poor.
Wolves desperately needed width in that game.
Armstrong was poor, but there was a moment when all Mane had to do was square the ball to him, and Mane blazed a shot over.
Armstrong just stood there as if to say wtf.
Mane was f****** s*** tonight. Peixoto needs to have a word with him.
If Wolves don't sort that defence before the window shuts the team has zero chance of a top two finish. Zero.

The only positives out of that were Lopez and Munetsi.
The back 5 were so bad. Andre was non-existent, Mane believes his own hype, Armstrong didn't do anything, and Gomes was also poor.
It's going to be a long season unless appropriate reinforcements aren't in place.

Good, Mosquera can't be defended tonight. He was poor. However, on the left, with Djiga next to him, he looked good. Sadly, it was pre season.
I agree with everything regarding Toti Gomes. He's not even League One standard. As someone once said - beautifully said - Toti plays like his legs are on back to front. I think it was Nocky on The Wolves Report.

You're right. Mosquera was poor but Toti makes him play even worse.

Toti is Sunday morning stuff. Mosquera rolling about when nobody has touched him. Armstrong living on past achievements. Bentley nearly fumbled the ball into his own net. Munetsi!!! Yes, he scored, but runs up blocked entrances & loses possession. Mane is not the player you think or want him to be, & he shoots when he shouldn't, & passes instead of shooting.
At least a thousand long throws over the past 2 seasons, & we ain't scored off any of them. We got lucky tonight, but unless we sign minimum 4 quality players, we're not gonna be battling for the top.

They've had the chance to sign players.
Looks like this is it for the rest of the season.
No change, utter dross.
Only plus was we didn't lose.
