Well that shows what I know about football. Why wait so long to sack Rob Edwards? Why sack him to replace him with a manager who seemingly has a worse track record than Rob? This is clearly a Mendes appointment. Mendes must know something that the Wolves fans don't, and Peixoto is going to be Nuno 2.0.
I've never been a fan of RE; he's had too many clubs for such a young manager, his stats are dreadful, and his football was murderous to watch, but for him to be sacked in the way that he has is nothing short of disgusting. It's embarrassing.

Problem being Ice, we know nothing about who knew what and when, etc., but most wanted RE gone, and Nathan has delivered on that. Whether his replacement is any good, only time will tell, I suppose, but football at this level is brutal and clubs sack managers/coaches with far better stats than RE's. It often follows relegation, so is it that much of a surprise?

Not sure how he's performed worse than Edwards, exactly? Last season Peixoto averaged 1.47 ppm, whereas Edwards averages 0.67 ppm. Peixoto, therefore, got over double the return that Edwards did over the course of a season.

Very good point, Longmynd, but wrong way to sack RE if true, in my opinion.
