Very happy I am not alone in my thinking.
Would Nuno come back now that Jeff has left?
Shi 2 in my opinion should definitely consider the options available. Keep Rob, who has not improved individual players and style of play is a mystery or change, possibly to the best manager we have had in recent times. Not really a difficult decision, all assuming of course Nuno would return.
I think a whole fresh approach is required from Shi 2 and that includes replacing Rob. What happens if we start next season with Rob and this poor style of play continues, how long then do they give him? If they want to return to the PL straight away have to start in a positive way with good performances and get us fans on board.
Anyway, what do we know? We all mad and the bosses know best.

The problem is Banksy. I don't think it was just Jeff, as I said before, both the Shis are merely just the vocal point, the mouthpiece for Fosun. Nuno didn't leave just because he fell out with Jeff, he left because Jeff had told him the reality that Fosun were massively rowing back on the project they sold both him and us! They no longer cared for creating an ambitious team moving up to and throughout Europe (please see Villa currently). And instead they were cutting the purse strings and were now going to be happy with a mid to lower table Prem scrappers team, who would always need to sell their best talent just to survive! In short, Fosun stopped keeping up with Nuno's ambition, and to be honest, I just can't see that changing. Say what you want about Forest's owner, but he is ambitious, and while West Ham may also have very misguided owners, the reality still is that they have a 60k stadium and a fairly serious wage bill compared to ours.
In both clubs' cases, as their recent Euro Cup runs/wins show, they are clubs that have at least tried to go places. Sadly, we just ain't that club anymore. Just look at our manager recruitment now compared to back then. We were genuinely trying to get Gary back before taking on Rob. That's absolutely light years away from the ambition we showed when we talked Nuno into the Champ the first time!
I would love to be wrong on this one, but I don't think it's as simple as Jeff's gone so Nuno can return. I think it would take a monumental shift in the club's current trajectory, and nothing I've seen to date genuinely suggests that's about to happen, sadly. ?

You more than likely correct, unfortunately, BB II. Shame though. What are your thoughts on Rob?

I don't think Nuno fell out with Jeff. I think he upset Guo and the Fosun hierarchy.

Like I say, Banksy, I would love to be wrong, buddy. Nuno still is the best manager I've seen at the Mol within my lifetime! As for my feelings on Rob, please see below (my response to Simon). I think Rob is a lovely guy, who will likely be a good manager one day once he's learnt his trade.
Sadly we are not a club that's in a position to support a fledgling manager, in fact, quite the opposite, we need a manager that's bigger than anyone else in the club right now. Sadly Rob just ain't it, for me. ?

I was one of those who, at the time, wanted Nuno out. No 'plan B' as we started to plummet down the league. However, in hindsight, and now taking into consideration what he was dealing with, I'd welcome him back. Now is probably a perfect time for both us & Nuno. If Shi 2 & Fosun are genuinely ambitious in getting Wolves back to the PL, then Nuno is our best bet. These are adults we're talking about, not kids. Both sides are supposed to be professionals, so go & get Nuno now! Look how he galvanized not just the team, but the entire fan base.
Waiting lists for season tickets, stands packed out, a method of playing, counter-attack, exciting football. Even the media couldn't get enough of him. Our best manager by far in recent years, when we look at some of those who have followed since.
Getting Nuno back would certainly make a positive statement & give him a full closed season to assess & rebuild the squad. It would probably help retain some of our better 'wantaways' also, like Kreji, H Bueno, etc. At least West Ham went down fighting, as opposed to us, who went down with a whimper under RE.

You are wrong, Blackfords. We didn't plummet down the league. Nuno steadied a rocking ship, & was asking for reinforcements. He was getting a few wins and draws, & we never looked like going down. Nuno is the best we've had since McGarry, & I said at the time he left that we'd regret this big time, & we have.
I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Bristol and Cardiff away told you what Wolves meant to him. They sold Jota against his wishes, & that was the start of the problems...
