I think Rob Edwards is on his last legs at Wolves. The deluded interviews, players fighting among themselves, fans booing, and journalists hinting that his position is at risk. I can't see Nathan Shi wanting to back him financially over the summer. I listened to a podcast featuring Tim Spiers, and although he was very clear about how poor the squad is, he was definitely giving off a vibe where he knows Edwards's job is at risk.

Would Nathan Shi, who apparently wants Wolves to be an established PL team, be willing to invest huge sums of money building a Rob Edwards team?

Hopefully these questions will be answered at the Fans forum on 12th May.

I think the short answer, Noisy, is probably no, given RE's record so far.
We all know the real villains in this tragedy, but I don't think he's done enough, and he seems way too compliant for my liking.

If I'm reading Nathan Shi correctly from the statements he's made, so far he seems far more interested in making it work, as his job could be on the line, unlike his predecessor who, as we now know, had other fish to fry.

The Rob Edwards situation is looking like Chelsea's after that 3-0 loss at Brighton last week. Has he lost the dressing room?

The problem is that no one with any ounce of self-pride will touch the manager's role at the club. Edwards could only be in place because no one else is foolish enough to want it.

Nathan Shi was appointed on 20th December. He's had over four full months, including a transfer window, to turn things round. We must have had a reasonable chance of survival at that point. If Edwards is giving deluded interviews now, then how does that reflect on Nathan Shi's leadership? Is it a case of the blind leading the blind?

When Rob Edwards was appointed, there were still around 70 points to play for, plenty of points to win to avoid relegation. Lopetagui did it, Vp did it, Rob Edwards didn’t. Admittedly, the team didn’t seem good enough, but let’s not forget some of these players are international players.

But still, Rob Edwards failed. Is he the right man to lead us into next season? That’s the question for Shi and co.
