Express and Star reporting that Edwards is ready to give the youngsters a chance next season.
The way Fosun run the club, it seems this is them telling Rob that incoming will be very minimal and so the youngsters are to be used.
Let's see if they're good enough.

Won't be hardened enough for that division. Maybe one or two, but no more. Battle hardened, mixed with skill & pace is needed.

Who are these young players they are talking about who will get a chance? The Under 21s are mediocre at best. I have seen them a few times, and no one is Championship standard. I have a feeling next season will be bleak.

The best youngster at the club is Matheus Mane and even he looks like a spent force under the current regime.

I don't believe Mane is as good as made out. He might, and I stress might, be ok in Championship. We'll have to wait & see. Toti wouldn't get in my old school team.
