Manchester City have reached a verbal agreement with Wolves for midfielder Matheus Nunes.
The two clubs have agreed an initial fee of £47m (€55m) to be paid in full, up front.
There is no formal agreement yet, and discussions remain ongoing.
City youngster Tommy Doyle will go to Wolves on an initial loan with a £4.3m (€5m) option and a significant sell-on clause.
The deals are separate but Doyle’s move has helped with negotiations.

Could someone please explain Nunes going for 47.2 million without add ons, Tommy Doyle on loan option of 5 million to buy end of season with a huge sell on fee, but yet we wanted 60 million for Nunes,
