So Wolves happy to let Jimenez go so must be confident of bringing in a replacement.

Although they have had their first bid rejected by his club Lemina is apparently keen on joining Wolves.

Also an interesting issue for Everton on top of their apparent slide down the table. They have posted a £372M loss over the last 3 years, £170M more than ffp allows with far more attributed to COVID than any other Premier League club. I wonder if they will be investigated?

I'll try to find it Old Wulf and post it. Tbf it's not the first time I've heard this but I would assume not until they've got a replacement.

The Daily Star ran that story today, but they’re quoting a clickbait site. You’ll find the full article on BBC Football / Gossip section.

Cunha is a replacement for Jota.

Selling Jota was the start of the decline. If Cunah comes any where close to the standard Jota set he will be a top signing.

Selling Jota was not the start of the decline. When he was sold for £40m+, there weren't many who were up in arms about it because we had a young player called Pedro Neto who stepped up and looked even better than Jota. It was unfortunate that Neto and Jimenez got injured when they did. What was highlighted is the fact that the squad wasn't strong enough to cope with injuries. This was due to Nuno wanting a small squad.

Jota has gone, like it or not, he wanted to go. He’s gone to a much bigger club offering what we couldn’t.
He’s gone, Coads has gone, others have gone, more will go. Move on, they’re history

Jota has picked up with Liverpool where he left off with Wolves, constant niggling injuries. I think he’s been out for a good while with his current injury. He always bounces back with a brace of goals though.

We got good money for Jota considering he was not always in our starting 11 and comments on Neto looking a much better all round prospect were certainly true at the time.

Spend a quarter of the Jota money on Hoever and allowing Liverpool to default on payments to us was however not so smart.

Jota went because he fell out with nuno. simple.
