Have to agree with Shada here, if he wasn't always injured/returning from injury then he wouldn't be leaving on a free! Add to this that at 33 he's just had his first season where he hasn't actually scored all season then I just can't see him justifying the (likely) large wages! ?

Seemingly Yuri Alberto is available at £17m would be a great buy at that price. How true that is who knows? Probably click bait but at that price I'm sure we would be interested.

We can't afford to be paying non playing players but if he stays fit he is a screaming bargain.
So compromise with a structured contract as you suggest.
Note would be HG too and we are short on those
