Only because we play better away and the power of the Crystals is immense I'm going Sunderland 1 Wolves 2.

I think VP is slowly getting a handle on his best side / system and we've got to win one sometime, right? so why not.

Plus, I'm not going to be able to watch or listen to the game thanks to prior arrangements which always seems to be a good thing.

Hope you are right with your prediction Longmynd and it would be a remarkable victory.
The last time we faced Sunderland at Stadium of Light was in the championship in 2018 when we lost 0-3 and we had a better team then which included Saiss Neves Jota MGW Helder Costa and a much younger Matt Doherty.

Good point FTP, but they were a different side back then as well. However, this is now and yes we are a weaker side obviously but I just think it would be very Wolves to get something.

Astonishingly 7 of that side, (and that doesn't include MGW), played in Seville so it is no wonder it won the league easily.
Comparing that side to today's team?
I think a combo side based on how good the aforementioned team was then and not how good they are now) would be:

Difficult place to go at any time FtP and longmynd, but I agree, the chances are we win at some point.
If we get a grip to begin with and raise our efforts we could do it. Sadly I'm thinking another draw more likely.
Surely Hwang won't start, if he does then we'll know what to expect I feel.
We're wasting Rodrigo and lopez on the bench imo.
