As others have said if GON should have been sacked sooner, and Jeff has acknowledged that, if we don’t get anything over the next 3 games VP should be replaced. Anything other than 4 points would be disappointing, lose all 3 than he has to go. Although our squad isn’t brilliant it is better than our results, if VP had an input on transfers he can’t really complain. Absolute shambles again and not at all surprising.

As I have said before on this page I was told nearly twelve months ago that VP was not good enough he should go today before it's to late to repair the damage

It look's like I'm in a minority of two, me and Goatmark, who commented earlier. Results HAVE improved, we are unbeaten in three matches. In my heart of hearts, in advance, I would have thought that a point in each of the Spurs and Brighton matches was good. We were a whisker away from winning both. I was at Stamford Bridge on 27th September where I saw Brighton beat Chelsea. I know it was against 10 men from 53 minutes, but Brighton were fantastic all the same. As for VP, I query his multiple subs when we are winning. Reminds me of the disastrous subs by Nuno when we were 2-0 up against Watford in that FA semi-final. I'd give VP until Christmas unless we go backwards now. The Big Boss in China should get his cheque book ready. For me, the first signing should be a CEO with a track record of success, and to be given full authority in football decisions.

Give him till Christmas it could well to late by then can you honestly think that results and performances are going to improve the way he keeps changing things around too many defensive players brought on again yesterday instead of going for the throat Lost us six points in the last two games sorry he's got to go and go now

Sorry meant four points not six

Well N Hill wolf, the alleged 'new manager bounce' has done a fat lot of good at Forest and West Ham! The lesser of two evils is keeping VP in place. As I said, I'd give VP until Christmas unless we go backwards now. I think you missed the second part of that sentence. It would be foolish to sack a previously successful coach on the back of a bad run, which seems to have come to an end anyway.

I'm in no doubt that VP will continue in his role, he has just signed a new contract so there must be some support from above. What happens if results continue to be poor? A knee jerk reaction from Jeff which could exacerbate our situation and plunge us into further chaos?
I don't know what the answer is I'm just hoping that we turn a corner soon or I fear the worst.
Never easy being a Wolves supporter these days.

We can all see that Deep and of course we all want VP and the team to do better and hopefully they will. I predicted a draw at Spurs but felt it was a game that we could potentially have won and said as much on here.
However, given the quality of this squad VP can't afford to make mistakes with tactics or substitutions because if that continues to cost us points he will be gone, Jeff has no choice. I like VP and always felt we'd got, at last, a solid replacement but it's up to him to prove it.
Having said all that even if he does start to get a tune out of them we all know what will happen again this Summer, then it will be 'back on your heads lads' all over again. Survival at this level being Fosun's only goal with little thought for the fans they claim to need so badly.

Just a question: Wasn't it suggested that a clause was in the new contract relating to performances?
If it was VP may not be around come Xmas. But, who would be happy to assume the role? Who is available that we'd be happy with?

We will have to wait and see but do you think that there are three teams worse than us

The way we are playing and I guess points speak for themselves, we are the poorest team in the PL. I hope I am wrong just can’t see us beating Sunderland, need 3 points then against Burnley at home. Do want things to improve just not optimistic at the moment, unfortunately.

Away we're starting to look OK performance wise Banksy, it's the home performances that concern me the most, that needs to change and quickly.
