So just about over the transfer window and I for one am pleasantly surprised. Two quality CB and a decent midfielder. Would have liked another striker but can't be to critical.
Will VP now change our formation to a 4 3 3?

I think they've done well in fairness. Also when you look at Guedes under Vitor I think he's found another attacking option. Guedes was unlucky at the wkend and should have scored but was a constant threat which in itself helps create goals ?

Said the other night bully's if you don't shoot you don't score, guedes was at least shooting and in position to do so, which is something we wernt doing with larsen.

As a Guedes fan I have to agree, Larsen doesn't have the pace to even get into those positions, imo. Him and Cunha coming at you must be a headache for any defence.

Yes except Cunha can score. If Guedes looked up he would know where the goal was!

Larsen is too slow
If possible we should avoid signing him permanently

He has already played the required number of games so we will be buying him!

To be fai, Larsen does get in a position to shoot unless I'm imagining those many missed opportunities! His main issues, for me, are that he needs to hold the ball up much better and, for his height, wins a very small amount of aerial duels.

Larsen isn't the fastest, agreed, but is Kane or Wood at Forest?
It's more about service or in Larsen's case lack of it. Most of the time he's feeding off scraps. Completely different player to Guedes, Larsen is a target man who occupies the defenders and stretches the pitch. Having both gives us variety. There's a few teams in this league that would be happy to take him.

Think you’re right Old Wulf, he has the physique to win the ball and hold it for the likes of Cunha, Guedes (if he looks up), Hwang or any other potential strikers to finish the job.
He looks too out of shape to be a number 9.

Definitely agree with the above posts re Guedes. I was calling for him to be given a go a couple of months ago as it's not easy to change your attitude and yet his efforts when coming on as a perpetual sub were always a credit to him. He's not the finished article, particularly when it comes to finishing, but his intelligent runs and his developing partnership with Cunha are really encouraging. I agree . it is almost like a new signing
