Lemina bid has come in with Saudi club wanting him for free. Interesting to see what wolves do, but 5m is not much money for Saudi so just pay and we can move on and get rid of him. I am so disappointed with him, with all that we did when his father passed and bringing his brother here. Worse than Nunes.

Lemina was a strange choice as captain but his work rate and stamina was valuable the last two years.
There's definitely a divide between the brazilian players and some of the older guard for some strange reason. Maybe it was just GON team selection funny how Lemina, Toti and Johnstone were playing most weeks.

Fair play Brentford. Wish wolves would not crumble when we give away our players so cheaply. Yes Cunha had a release clause but just in general terms we always seem to sell cheaply.

Looks like Brentford played hardball, as Brighton do, and it paid off. In our case it's mainly Cunha's doing as he wouldn't have signed the contract with us without that specified release clause. But yes, we could and should learn from Brentford and Brighton. Clubs like us are merely stepping stones when rare talent is signed but we should be cashing in more when facing the inevitable departure.

I was sat looking down on the goal area. It looked to me that Vardy had lost control with the ball heading for a goal kick. Then he went down with his feet in to Sa's thighs. My take was he made a bad first touch then tried to manufacture a foul.

Disappointing tonight. First half we were decent. Poor goal to give away but I terms with possession and bossing things we did well and then created a lovely goal. Glad that Munetsi finally got his goal. Shame he went off at HT and hope that was pre planned. Second half we had loads of the ball but just didn’t do enough with it. Both teams happy with a point but I wanted us to be more urgent and not so slow. Why do we always slow up and not play with any tempo? We could have easily won tonight if we showed more desire in the final third.

I get what your saying and agree that we should have kicked on. But someone said it on here yesterday (think it was Long) that wasn't a must win match but it was a must not lose match so in that regard a good point. As for Munetsi VP said after the match that it was a precaution after a knock. Which is sensible after VP moaned about Agbadou carrying on after a knock and then being injured. Onwards and upwards ??

We definitely have a come reliance on one player for far too many seasons in my opinion. Obviously. Cunha but then to a certain extent Neves in previous seasons, which meant that the Ball had to often go through said players in the hope that something magical would happen to win us again. Over the next more favorable fixtures in my humble opinion if we can’t get something out of these games without utilizing our best player then we definitely deserve to go down. Everton definitely have not lost since moyes has come back and that will definitely be a hard game, but there’s no reason why we can’t get something from it and then to my previous point if we’re going to make excuses for not being able to beat Southampton without Cunha then we have bigger problems for sure. So I at least expect our shape and game plan to change and I am hoping that other players will step up and we can at least inject some pace into these performances because we need to get at least three more wins in my opinion to drag us over the finishing line. Four games to make sure but I still think 31 to 32 points. Will do it this season.

We probably did inquire about him but I don’t believe we would be trying hard to bring him in knowing he wasn’t interested. To me it’s just his agent feeding the media as we have also seen with a few other ‘targets’ to try and get his player the best deal.

Again pre season is just fitness but also if we had a pre season like last year I am sure Shi would say we are good for now. We can’t all see how short we are with no real creativity on the bench and the fact that we haven’t been scoring hopefully means that Vitor is knocking Jeff’s door saying we need players in asap to compete.

Agree goatmark 1. Pre season is fitness but also not going so hard that you injure yourself. Next week is when all players will be giving 100% and fully switched on. I also have said that last pre season I thought wow we looked really good and then we lost our first 10 or so games and were terrible. No point moaning about transfers and the fact that the majority of players that have left the club have been deadwood and those who were not going to be first team players.

Sadly this will keep happening. The richest clubs keep getting richer and it’s not a level playing field and has not been that way for a long time. When pool can spend close to half a billion and not have to worry about PSR you have to think what chance to promoted teams have?

How many of the players gone have we all moaned about last season. A lot have been fringe players or younger players who are not up to this level. We have to free up the wage bill to get more in.

Last pre season I thought we looked really good and then look what happened after our first 10 games. Keep the faith. Players will come. Annoying that it’s so late but it will happen and we will have a good season.
