Welcome to the forum Nick, the more the merrier! As for the new lad I've not seen the footage yet but I do like the fact that he looks imposing (being 6 foot 4 helps:) cause we've missed that. Was also good to read that he seems to have revelled in taking the armband, cause our back line certainly needs more leadership. Hope he gets a start at the wkend ?

He certainly looks like a tower of strength that we've been lacking. I've not seen any footage of him but his appearance is enough to give me confidence.

Welcome Nick.Total opposite to you Greyleg. I'd take Almiron but Iheanacho hardly shone for Leicester and I don't think he's up to it. Interestingly, it's intimated that Harvey Barnes may also be available. Now you're talking (if you could guarantee his fitness!).Maybe a swap for Hwang??.

Not sure bout Iheanacho, he's hardly pulling up trees and he is on a significant wage. I think we should be able to get better value for the money.

Iheanacho was mentioned by a few posters over the summer.
His stats seem to be a lot better than Hwangs so it may be beneficial to move Hwang on and get Iheanacho in. I think it would be an improvement.

I too like Almiron. He was always in the mix for Newcastle and never gave up anything. He may be older and wiser but his experience in the Prem should be worth something?
Did we try for Iheanacho previously?

Recent stats definitely not Wandering. Hwang chases round and regularly loses possession when he gets involved but can score (43 apps 14 goals 5 assists this season and last).Iheanacho pretty similar but doesn't score much (42 apps 5 goals 1 assist).The goals and assists were in the Championship too, ie none for top league Seville. Can he hack it at the top level? I doubt it. He's nowhere near the player of a few years ago unfortunately.

Look at the stats on their PL career. Iheanachos minutes per goal is a lot better than Hwangs. Of his 192 games, he's only started 80 so the stats aren't fully reflected otherwise.

Career stats are irrelevant, Wandering.It's current/recent stats that are important. Otherwise there would be a clamour to resign John Richards/Bully as they are readily available.Not a bad front two tbf!

We'll have to disagree on this one. I think Iheanacho would be an upgrade.
I watch Hwangs performance against Forest on Monday and felt that he couldn't even pass wind, never mind a football. He had half a decent season last season but he ain't the answer for me.
