Rumour I heard a few minutes (most likely BS) is that VP has demanded showdown talks with Shi regarding the failure to sign the required players.
It seems Teti is going to be leaving very soon as his tenure has been a disaster and VP could be following him out of the door very soon.

Wouldn't be surprised but also can't see VP walking. He's been waiting for a chance in the Premier league for so long, and would he ever get this chance again?

i would walk if I was him, everyone knows he loves the club . he doesn’t deserve to be miss managed by these negligent skinflints

We'll soon see how happy VP is wrt this window. Will he sign a new contract?

Does he 'love' the club though? He's been here 5 minutes in the grand scheme of things. Reality is he came in and did a great job when we were at rock bottom. He rode the wave and took trips to the pub and we loved him for it. Since then he's lost some of his best and most influential players and has seen them replaced with bog-standard footballers (in comparison). The positive feeling he had managed to muster has eroded in the space of a summer. I wouldn't be suprised if he walked whilst his reputation in intact. The club have let another manager down who probably could have done well for us if backed. If I was a neutral manager with no ties to Wolves I would absolutely look elsewhere for work, even if it meant moving down the pyramid into The Championship.

Wandering mate it wouldn't surprise me if VP walked and who could blame him?

I would not be surprised, and nor would I blame VP for walking. Fosun have let their reputation slide with their lack of support for managers and promises unfulfilled. With a stated lack of ambition it is difficult to convince players to come. I can't imagine any decent manager coming if VP goes.

I can believe that he's unhappy but also surely he HAS to also be accountable?! Teti was VPs hire after working with him previously! Seems bizarre for VP to complain that the man he's hand picked (at great expense) has not done the job that VP chose him for?! I think the most frustrating part of all this is that it has played out exactly in the way many on here have been predicting from the day we finished last season! ?

What's with all the VP will walk rubbish, he signed 5 players over the window, he moved on a few that he clearly didn't want, he may have wanted to move 1 or 2 more on, but unfortunately nobody came in for them, If Fosun had shafted him Larsen would now be playing elsewhere.
I can understand a little bit of the frustration, but some of the stuff posted online is unreal because we didn't sign more players, we have a decent squad to compete as a mid table team, and that will come, time for patience, why all of a sudden have we become a club who want instant gratification with new players all the time.
VP has picked up 8 payers since the January window, all costing a few million, he has been backed fair bit, so to say he hasn't is pure tripe, time for VP to earn his money, first by dropping one or 2 of his favourites who clearly have offered nothing yet this season. If he does walk he is clearly just as pathetic as Lop was.
For me its time to let things settled own and the new players find their feet, and let VP get on with being a manager

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Teti, VP’s man. Difficult not to agree that we have missed some opportunities this window, especially within the last fortnight, when ‘done deals’ unravelled in front of our eyes. The annoying part is that we failed on numerous occasions to convince the player to join, when agreements had been sorted between clubs. What role did VP play in selling a project to the players.
When you hear from other clubs signings, they invariably say they were convinced by the coach/manager. Interactions I have seen of our recent signings on club videos, barely feature VP. A phone call from a manager shows a player he is wanted. Only those on the inside know whether or not VP adopts that hands on approach.
When you look at some of the missed opportunities from deadline day, that were within our price range, that comparable size clubs have got over the line, you cannot do other than label the window a MASSIVE MISSED OPPORTUNITY.
Harry Wilson, Christantus Uche, Matt O’Reilly, Manor Solomon, Tarim Lamptey, Youssef Chermiti El Khannous Brian Brobbey Tyrique George,

Where ever, according to Johnny Phillips, the penny dropped for Fosun goodness knows where it landed ant what in because the Summer has been an absolute shambles. Hobbs knew what he was doing when looked at what was happening and left and kept walking. I have no doubt that VP in have Teti brought in to supposedly handle recruitment is all well and good but it doesn't get the cheque book away from Jeff and that in a nutshell is the problem as we've seen before. He knows best but sadly he knows bugger all about football and has consistently made a complete mess of things. After over 60 years supporting our great club I just despair at what that buffoon has done to it.

Can someone answer me this, for all the players mentioned on who we have missed out on, how many of them would have come to Wolves?
Did Wolves look at them? VP stressed he only want players who want to come! so isn't it fair to say that we agreed condition with one or 2, only for them to go elsewhere, so do they sound like players that wanted to come? the answer is no, they went to the highest bidder . watch the new lads video, he wanted to be here as soon as heard we were interested, and low and behold the transfer happened fairly quickly. obviously lots of stuff goes on behind the scenes, but there is no point panic buying like we have done in the past, as history has proved majority of our panic buys either didn't want to come or failed, which wasted lots of money, Fabio being the biggest one

Has he been backed though Sydney?! Would you naturally expect a club that finished 16th in the league to finish the window £13m+ up? And that doesn't even account for the fact Sarabia and (club captain) Semedo both went for free!
The one thing I just can't get my head round was letting Doyle and Traore both go without a replacement in place, just seems foolish to me!

If Andre or Gomes pick up an injury or suspension, the only options we have are Munetsi or Krejci.
We have options in defence with Mosquera, Agbadou, Krejci, Doc, S Bueno and (Toti)
Wing backs in Hoever, Tchatchouma, Rodrigo, Wolfe and Bueno.
Attacking players in Arias, Lopez and Bellegarde.
Up front: JSL and Tolu
We wait and see if this squad can produce the goods.

Sydney surely by definition the answer is none?
But as I always ask "why"?
Why do you think they wouldn't come to the club?

I'm disappointed the TFIOG.
Not so much with the "why" but the more we have wasted 4 months not signing players?
I do think its poor offering small wages and small transfer values to attract certain players;
Pubill
Veiga
Disasi
Hackney
Yuri Alberto
What could have been?
Jeff any answers appreciated.Actually don't both we are all customers.

Sydneywolf - appreciate your optimism, but there is no way that this squad is capable of finishing mid table. The quality is not there and the situation is not being helped by out of form players. Who do you see creating our chances? We haven't got a single player who looks to break the lines in the final third.

Future I agree, what is the reason that players don't come? but I would say the ones that did are here, the rest of the nearly
group obviously either wanted more money or Wolves didn't think their price represented a good deal, that would be my thoughts on it.
Bully I think he was backed, yes may letting a couple of midfielders go was not the right move until they had cover, I think Lopez, Cruij are possibly back up to the midfield, is it good enough only time will tell, VP has been backed in my opinion, we just never got one or 2 players over the line, for a multitude of different reasons.
The angst and doom by the fans needs to be put to bed, and fans need to get behind the team an move forward. Its easy to point fingers, but unless we sit at the top table we will never know why or who we actually wanted, we just see and hear the gossip to rise the fear amongst the fans. Lat year we were all but gone come December, look how our season turned around, and the purple patch we had no Cuhna, one or 2 results will breath some confidence into the team, and we will make some headway, the new player bought in will settle and show their worth, we have bought in many players that nobody knew or had the experience everyone seems to bang on about, but they did just fine
