Regardless of buying a striker or not we have a very fluid front line with players able to interchange positions and break quickly which will only be helped by the return of Costa. We can score a lot of goals as the season unfolds. That said I do rue the fact that we've helped our competitors putting out Dicko and Graham.

I'm going to put it out there and say we have signed a striker before dicko left. I cannot believe Nuno and Fosun would allow dicko and mason to leave to our competitors without a better player coming in. Who it is i'm not sure everything is exciting though and Fosun know that creates a buzz in the fan base wolves are active and three will come which three is the exciting part. Also this Dutch youngster seems to fit the mound of Graham more than the striker we crave. Bring on the next 4 hours!

I don't think Gallagher is the right kind of striker for Wolves - he's a traditional English target man, 6'3" and scores with his head and new new Wolves keep it on the deck - I think we need a fast, first touch goal poacher (e. g. Costa of Chelsea type) . I would be surprised if this rumour was true.

How does Spiers know what Fosun are prepared or not prepared to spend. The guy thought the Neves rumours was Mendes trying to drum up interest from Premier League clubs. Another Talisca he thought. Then we break the Championship transfer record. Don't listen to him.
Fosun clearly want promotion this year. No messing about. Remember we can only field 5 loan players per match day squad. Have to be careful - already have Boly, Bonatini, Jota and Vinagre on loan for the season. Gallagher would make 5 and that's your lot.
IMO Wolves are looking to sell Mason and other fringe players to bring in a few million and spare wages. Still all wolves fans are waiting for that new top striker!
£10m on a striker - promotion worth min £170m and rising. Worth a punt. FFP will not be an issue unless Wolves don't get promoted within the next two seasons.

The type of striker like D Costa or Sanchez or Aguero or even Vardy now I think of it is not the usual Championship striker and it looks like Bonatini has been brought in to play that kind of football but it only takes a centre half in the Championship to injure a player like that for the season as we found with Dicko but the classic big CF like Crouch, Rooney or even Chris Woods does better and tends to stay on their feet we could have kept Bod if that's what we wanted.

Much as I like matt doherty i'm starting to feel he's becoming a weak link thought vinegre did decent job on left and douglas is quality but we don't seem to have that dowm right hope this phil ofusu gets back asap as the qualty of ball or his positioning ain't quite as good as the opening games just my thoughts.

Listened to match and radio yesterday unfortunately I don't pick up signal 107 too clearly so had to settle for wm I've never heard so much negativity about wolves in the build up and during the commentry by mike taylor its almost as if the pundits are waiting for our world to fall apart think they're all jealous because we've spent money and are actually looking a force I know its early days but that was a decent boro side and how often have we had any luck against em in recent years I for one in the words of kevin keegan would love it love it if we rammed the words right back down these pundits and commentators throats#wolvesaywe.

Theres lots of commentators. pundits and all manner of people saying this wolf40 and not giving wolves any credit for shutting the other team out and not allowing em to play there's quite a few always hated wolves and its showing bigtime they hate the fact its our time we've spent big and we'll be pride of the midlands noticed even though we played excellent today football on 5 couldn't even give us a good slot and waited til the end of the programme to show 20 secs of highlights stuff em all let's enjoy the ride and get behind nuno and the boys and roar us back to the bigtime wolvesaywe.
