Wolves linked with former youth player Sam winnall. Could never understand why we let him go, always scored goals and seemed descend for the first team.

1.) 24 Dec 2016 14:02:28
I don't know either. There are so many players we shouldn't have sold back then.

2.) 24 Dec 2016 17:06:38
Ask Mad Mock he was the one who sold most of them the fool.

3.) 24 Dec 2016 20:02:55
All these players like Winnall were let go because they weren't good enough. I'm sure at the time he was let go, not many fans kicked up a fuss as we had Ebanks Blake, Fletcher and Doyle at the club. We can't keep players in the hope that they'll come good in 5 years time. We need then here and now. Remember Leon Clarke. We let him go and he started scoring so the fans demanded to know why he was let go. We then re signed him and he was a complete disaster. People go on about George Friend and Sam Vokes but the truth is they were given their chance but weren't good enough.

4.) 24 Dec 2016 23:00:10
Too right.

5.) 24 Dec 2016 23:31:06
Leon Clarke had plenty of chances at wolves. That's a pretty bad example.

6.) 24 Dec 2016 23:47:39
they were all shite, people have very short memories.

7.) 25 Dec 2016 01:32:31
Jtwolf, are you suggesting Leon Clarke was a success or have you misunderstood my point?

8.) 25 Dec 2016 07:37:15
Leon Clarke should never have been re-signed. I'm not being wise after the fact, what I'm saying is that it was his strike partner Wilson who we should have signed but in typical Wolves tradition we went for the cheaper option and the rest is history. 2 players on polar opposite trajectories.

9.) 25 Dec 2016 09:14:53
My point is, I don't think many people were demanding to know why we let Leon Clarke go. He played a lot of games for us and was rubbish.

21 Nov 2016 22:05:21
Wolves looking to loan Watford and former Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair.

Jtwolf

1.) 22 Nov 2016 09:55:55
No more loans please, let's buy and build a squad that wants to play wholeheartedly for the club! Far to many loans at Wolves at this present time!

2.) 22 Nov 2016 11:10:41
We have tried loan strikers before. Holt and Le Fondre recently. Fine if we're really short of options but with Mason, Dicko, Bod, Bright, Cav, Gladon and the injured Zyro we should be OK.

3.) 22 Nov 2016 20:30:52
Sinclair hasn't scored a goal or made an appearance omg.

24 May 2016 14:15:22
Wolves linked with mirco antenucci, a free agent after being let go by Leeds. Also linked with Shrewsbury keeper jayson leutwiler who has just come to the end of his contract. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, of free agents and loan players again, like last summer.

Jtwolf

1.) 24 May 2016 15:24:38
Leutwiler is decent goalkeeper so will be good addition but there's nothing in antenucci Mate👍🏻.

2.) 24 May 2016 17:15:13
Antenucci wasn't bad when I saw him play against us. He's getting on a bit but at least he scores a few.

3.) 25 May 2016 16:09:26
Is Leutwiler better than McCarey? Just asking as I really don't know, but two goalies at the end of their contracts, one from Wolves, one from Shrews.

4.) 25 May 2016 16:21:50
Leutwiler a lot better than mccarey mate, and will be very good competition for ikeme.

5.) 26 May 2016 11:46:36
If leutwiler who I've nevee heard of is getting released by shrewsbury how can he be good enough for us its simple.

6.) 26 May 2016 13:50:50
That's where I was coming from Myles. Then again it's an end of contract rather than a release. Sako came to the end of his contract with us and nothing wrong with him.

Wolves agree with Italian club for Robert acquafresco. Player turns it down to stay and fight for is place. Wolves trying all areas to get a striker in.

Jtwolf

1.) 01 Feb 2016 16:37:46
Kike the likeliest - Rhodes deal going through so Kike is rumoured to be on his way to Compton for medical.

2.) 01 Feb 2016 17:11:52
Anyone have any news about Zach Clough?

3.) 01 Feb 2016 20:21:02
Watch him go Blackburn now they got money.

25 Dec 2015 15:47:54
Merry Christmas, happy new year and happy new owner. Moxey will sell Afobe as our chances of a playoff place is very unlikely. Expect big changes by the end of January. Don't expect a new owner though until the summer.

Jtwolf

1.) 25 Dec 2015 18:23:43
Big changes, where on pitch or off?

Come on then, who's going to be the first to say they're " source" tells them its today!

Jtwolf

1.) 15 Jul 2016 07:45:51
My source is unreliable and all over the place at the moment. I had to make another Bacon sarnie it was that bad.

2.) 15 Jul 2016 08:24:25
I know my source means I had to make a sausage sandwich with tomato.

3.) 15 Jul 2016 08:31:29
I guess when 84 people have been mowed down in France it puts things in perspective, but one thing should be clear to the powers that be at our club. Whether the sale is going through or has stalled or folded, we cannot go into the season with the threadbare squad we have got. Some decisions have to be made now if we are not going to go into the season unprepared an demoralised.
I hope everything is still on track and maybe Lopetugui is hedging his bets because he doesn't want to find he's missed out on both jobs, but if we haven't pulled the deal off then that's pretty worrying.
It seems that nobody is any wiser than anybody else and if negotiations aren't complete it is going to be a fluid situation till it's done and pointless to claim to be in the know.

4.) 15 Jul 2016 10:35:03
My source is telling me to get the bacon on.

06 Jul 2016 22:49:52
Some of you may have seen that I had reported that the deal was off! Well I've just heard its back on! You heard it here first!

Other news: quote of the week
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey – relaxed about fan unrest around the club’s new shirt sponsor, payday lender The Money Shop, whose parent company was forced to pay out £15.4m last year due to “serious failings” that “caused detriment for many customers”. Moxey: “I don’t think we could have associated with a more reputable firm. ”.

Jtwolf

1.) 17 Apr 2016 17:13:08
That doesn't say much for us then.

2.) 18 Apr 2016 07:05:42
Does Moxey owe them overdue interest?

13 Apr 2016 14:38:55
Its quite ironic how moxey has always bragged about being financially sound and keeping wolves debt free (always going for the cheap option) . Now he is proud to announce the money shop as sponsor and help them help others in the community? You mean take advantage of desperate people and get them into debt. Nice one Moxey!

Jtwolf

1.) 13 Apr 2016 19:41:31
Like I keep saying had enough now Jtwolf, same old thing over and over again they keep taking the pea out the fans.
Keeping away as much as I love wolves I will watch on telly or listen to Radio match days until there is a clear out and show some ambition, I honestly think that Morgan don't want to sell and will keep running the club as it is with a certain Mr. Moxey who I am afraid will keep saying the same old thing until Wolves fans, you do something about it and the best way is to hit them in there pocket were it hurts, because you will see no entertainment value only lies again about what they are going to do but never do.

2.) 14 Apr 2016 11:33:48
Everyone should boycott buying new shirts nxt season until get a sorry for the crap they want put on front shirt and around ground.

19 Nov 2015 15:01:06
Hi people,

I currently have some news regarding a buying for our club. I have been told by my source, who must remain nameless, that a group, who my nameless source does not know the name of, are very interested. They are willing to sign a number of players, who cannot be named, in order to secure promotion this season. My nameless source assures me that the group, who he does not know the name of, have assured him that the players, who cannot be named are top quality. I'll be back with more when I hear more from my source. Who cannot be named.

1.) 19 Nov 2015 15:57:56
Will we here about it december jtwolf like ian martin said.

2.) 19 Nov 2015 16:19:19
I'm guessing the top post is a wind up aimed at all the 'secret squirrels' on here who can't be named about and raise subjects we can't talk about!

3.) 19 Nov 2015 17:34:35
On whether we will hear a confirmation in December, or not. My source has assured me, he will be able to confirm this on the first of January.

We had an OVERHAUL (check the spelling) at the beginning of the season and that didn't work. What we need is to give a guy with a track record of getting promoted from this league time. The reason Lambert has come in halfway through the season, is because things weren't going well. We had a massive squad, which he wants to shrink, so he was never going to sign many in January. So how can he be getting so much stick for the problems that were already here. As for what he said this morning, does anyone expect him to say that the players that are here now, the ones he needs to keep us up, will be dropped next season. Come on.

Totally agree Sydneywolf, let Lambert bring in a head of recruitment he trusts and get rid of the one guy who has failed for the last 4 years.

Don't worry Ulf, you can't harm the club with your comments, you'll just be ignored. If what nearly half a stadium full of supporters think, doesn't makes any difference, you've got no chance.

You make some great points Ulf. Why would you go for such a controversial sponsor at a time when, the club is up for sale and the team are under performing? Getting a little more money will always come first for moxey.

I personally wasn't going to buy a strip out off principal, not just that its money shop as sponser but because 13000 fans have been ignored. This is our club not moxeys, owners and chairmen will come and go, the fans will always be here. Out of interest does anyone know if we are playing our home games at the KC stadium next season? Seeing as we'll be wearing they're strip?!
