We have a TALL, fast and aggressive No.9 in Neave but continue to pick Armstrong who contributes nothing to the team. The manager also continues to play Mane on the left wing when his best, and most productive position, would be as a No.10 - play James from the start : we may yet get back to the promised land unless we fail to change manager.

Hi everyone i can take a defeat god knows ive seen enough of them but can anyone explain to me why this clueless manager losing at home 2-1 then suddenly thinking the best tatic to get us back in the game is to take a left back off and bring on yet another left back when your chasing the game.
Surely he should of brought on neave or even put munetsi up from with armstrong we needed goals but he thinks bringing on another left back will work CRAZY & UNACCEPTABLE.

100% agree.
Games like that and against West Ham are where you can tell a good manager to a poor one. I might be shooting my shot to early but he is not tactically good enough. He just replaces man for man in the hope that the player coming on comes up with some magic.

Alex, I think its worse that that. Last night he removed both central midfielders and replaced them with forwards. We already had a big hole in the middle.
There is a lot of hate for Armstrong and he has missed 2 sitters this year, but he has excellent early movement.
This issue is the play is so slow and side to side no one ever picks him out. By time he gets it the opposition has 11 men behind the ball.
